Corey frowned as he watched Hazel unbutton her clothes.
Suddenly, Corey reached out and grabbed Hazel’s hair, roughly pressing her down on the back seat.
“Do you think you can seduce me by doing this?”
Hazel shook her head. Her scalp ached from Corey’s pull and her watery eyes were teary. She wanted to explain, but she couldn’t.
“Who sent you to get close to Kara?”
“No, no,” Hazel said the word with difficulty.
“You have extraordinary acupuncture skills. It’s possible that you’re just a freshman. Hey, tell the truth when I have a little patience, or you’ll regret it badly!”
Corey’s eyes were red with his emotions blurred by his glasses.
However, Corey was hideously stone cold.
The more anxious Hazel became, the less she could explain. She could only stare at Corey with tearful eyes.
Hazel pointed at the mark on her shoulder with her trembling finger.
Knowing what Hazel meant, Corey gazed at her shoulder and several red orchids came into his view.
Beautiful as the orchids were, they could not cover the burns around the orchid stamens. Corey’s eyes were on the burn marks and he found Hazel had burns all over her back.
Those wounds looked extremely hideous on her fair skin.
Hazel said that she was in a fire before and Corey saved her.
However, Corey didn’t remember that he had saved anyone in the fire.
“Orchids are blooming,” Hazel said.
Corey watched Hazel’s tears dripping down her cheeks and falling on the orchids like crystal dewdrops on the petals, stunned.
“Corey, you promised to marry me when orchids are blooming.”
Back then, Hazel didn’t know which orchid Corey was talking about, so she got some blooming orchids tattooed on her chest.
Corey let go of Hazel’s hair and let her put on her clothes.
“I’m not the man you mentioned. You got the wrong person. Get out of the car.”
“You are him!”
In a fit of pique, Hazel pulled down her clothes and turned to sit on Corey.
“Corey, I, I, like you.”
Corey was a bit astounded. After all these years, no one dared to say this to him.
Feeling awkward, Corey frowned.
He coldly berated, “Go down!”
“No, I wanna be your bride.” Hazel insisted.
“Shame on you. Do you really want a man so badly?” Corey was vexed, going to throw her out of the car.
When Hazel was reluctant to get out of the car, Corey opened the car door and got out, instead of quarreling with her.
“Corey.” Hazel followed him into the villa, wiping her tears.
Her eyes widened in shock when she saw the inside of the villa.
There was no furniture in the living room, looking gloomy and terrifying.
A few flower stands were placed beside the window-sill facing the sun, on which were all kinds of orchids.
When Corey walked to the second floor, Hazel quickly chased after him. “Corey.”
Hazel followed Corey to the second floor, which was also frighteningly empty. Seeing Corey walk into a room, Hazel quickly followed.
It could tell from the layout that it was Corey’s bedroom.
In the big bedroom, there was only a bed, a clothes rack, and a wardrobe. They were all black.
Even the curtain was black.
His room was not like a bedroom but more like a terrifying prison.
“Corey.”
Hazel watched as Corey unbuttoned his shirt and sat on the windowsill.
“It is very impolite for a woman to enter a man’s bedroom. Don’t you know?”
“No.”
Hazel walked to the opposite side of Corey and slowly sat down by the window. From this corner, Hazel could see a patch of orchids in the backyard of the villa.
Corey seemed to stubbornly have an obsession with orchids.
“Corey, from now on, I will live here,” Hazel said with great effort.
Corey turned around and frowned impatiently. “I said that I don’t know you, let alone save you.”
“No, it’s you who saved me. I like you.”
Hazel mustered up her courage again and told him what she kept to herself for a long time with a flushed face.
Corey found it ridiculous and took out a stack of cheques from his pocket.
“You like me? What exactly do you like about me? My money? I will give you as much money as you want.”
Seeing that Corey was about to write a check, Hazel immediately shook her head.
She explained anxiously, “No, I only like you.”
“One million, five million, or ten million?” Corey stared at Hazel.
Hazel pursed her lips and could not explain clearly with tears on her eyelashes. She only hugged his neck and kissed his lips.
Corey was shocked!
Corey widened his eyes in surprise. The kiss was so sudden that his mind went blank for seconds.
Hazel’s lips were really soft!
Hazel never kissed before. She just pressed her lips against Corey’s and was a little anxious about not knowing how to go further.
When Corey was about to shake Hazel off, she tightened her grip on him and licked his lips like a puppy.
“You…”
Corey was annoyed when Hazel kissed him again.
Corey wanted to pull Hazel away but didn’t expect to tear her clothes, which were not buttoned up. He prised her hand so hard that her clothes were torn open.
Corey took a few deep breaths and fiercely grabbed the back of Hazel’s neck, distancing her away from himself.
“Do you want to die?”
Hazel stared at Corey blankly and shook her head stubbornly.
“Kiss me.”
Corey was speechless.
Corey laughed. How could she say that even when she didn’t even know him?
Was she stupid?
“Get out of here if you don’t have a death wish!”
Hazel shook her head. Not only did she not leave, she even clung on him.
“Corey, I like you.”
This was the fourth time Hazel said that she liked Corey. Corey found it ridiculous.
What was wrong with her?
“I think you have the wrong person.”
Hazel shook her head and held his face in surprise, thinking that he remembered what happened before.
“Corey, marry me.”
There was not much Corey could do about that.
Corey was helpless to see that Hazel was irrational.
“Corey, when I marry you, I’ll learn to sew, cook, paint, and love you,” Hazel said in a serious tone.
From the moment Hazel decided to marry Corey, she started learning how to be a good wife.
Corey was touched.
Having been lonely for more than ten years, Corey was moved when he heard Hazel’s words.
Hazel’s sweet heart-shaped face was a bit chubby. Her cheeks were beautiful pink-and-white, and her skin was smooth and white.
Her long black hair fell to her knees and seemed to be carefully groomed.
Hazel was slim and wore a plain white dress modified from traditional clothes. The dress had a waistline that revealed her slim waist, showing that she was good at dancing. Most of all, she smelled like Corey’s favorite orchid.
Hazel said that in order to marry him, she learned to sew, cook, paint orchids, and love him.
For some reason, Corey felt a little jealous of the man Hazel was talking about.
What kind of man can be loved by her wholeheartedly?
