They like me

I glanced at Eion, who was still eating. “We are?”
He nodded. I sent him my plastic smile. “I’m not informed.” What the hell is he saying? Is that what he really came here for? So he’s still not giving up on Emma and Dax’s date. “Didn’t I already said I’m not going?”
Mom left us and Nathan was silently watching us the whole time, before tugging at Eion’s shirt. “Can we play now, Eionnyy?” He said as he pouted. “You promised to play with me last time..”
Eion patted him in the head and picked Nathan on his armpits. “We will after we eat.”
That made Nathan gleamed excitedly. Eion drank from the glass of water and stood up, ignoring my question. “Thanks for the food, Aunt Eve. I love your cooking.” He then turned to me, “We’ll be leaving in twenty minutes. I’ll wait for you.” He said as he and Nathan disappeared into the living room.
I was left with my mouth wide open. I just ate quietly, too confused at what in the world is happening. When I was finished, I stood up to spend time alone in my room but Eion was shooting me a look, threatening me if I won’t do what he asked. I just clicked my tongue at him and vanished into my room.
Sighing, I took a shower and got put on my go-to outfit, denim jeans, and a white shirt with my white sneakers. I let my hair down today, put on my lip balm because of my chapped lips, and sprayed a bit of perfume before finally going to the living room.
Eion looked at me up and down, and glanced at his watch, “That was fast, I gave you twenty minutes, but you still have five minutes left,” he commented. “Shall we go now?”
I shook my head no, “Uhm, what if I say no?”
“I called you early in the morning, came to get you, and now you have the audacity to refuse me?” He tsked. “Let’s go already before I run out of patience.”
And he grabbed my hand, bidding goodbye to Nathan and mom. “Take care of Snow. Eion!” Mom reminded Eion and he just nodded.
“Your mom really is fond of me.” He said when we were outside. “They like me…” He paused, “What about you? Do you?”
He stared at me, but I pushed his hand away, who was still holding mine, “This is kidnapping, Eion.”
He gave a sideways glance, “You came willingly.”
I shook my head, “No, I didn’t.”
He went to his car that was parked in front of our house and got in, as he motioned for me to hurry up. I didn’t have a choice but to just go with him and sat in the backseat.
“What are you doing there? Sit here.” He motioned to his passenger seat.
I shook my head, “No, coming with you is enough.”
He clenched his jaw. “Are you sure? Or you want to make me sit in my lap?”
With that, I angrily huffed and got out of his car to go to the passenger seat. “Happy now?” He looked at the seatbelt, leaned in and was about to help me put it on but I pushed him away, “I can do it on my own.” I said, glaring at him.
“Okay then.” He sighed, gripped the wheel, and started the engine.
“So this is it?” I questioned, holding a chocolate frappe in my hand. Eion shushed me, sipping on his strawberry drink as he narrowed his eyes on Emma and Dax who were seated a few tables from us. Eion lent me his leather jacket and a black cap, as he wore shades and a mask for disguise. He said we would be unrecognizable this way, but all we got were curious stares from people.
If anything, we just stood out.
“We’ve been here for an hour, can’t we just leave them alone?” I complained.
“No.” He replied.
He looked at the drink in my hands. He scrunched his face in disgust. “I hate chocolate.”
I hid my drink from him and stuck my tongue out at him, “Don’t you dare insult chocolate ever again. It’s my favorite! Chocolate is superior!” I huffed, insulted at his reaction. “You and your weird taste,” I mumbled.
“Don’t include my strawberry.” He said in a menacing voice, glaring at me. I didn’t know if he was just joking with me. He’s really passionate when it comes to his strawberry. I just glared back at him.
I took a deep breath, getting impatient minute by minute. But I can’t take it anymore “Listen here-”
“The targets are moving.” Eion cut my sentence off. Looking at the couple, he’s right. They were now standing and leaving the cafe.
“Where are they going?” I asked as we stood up too.
He drew his eyebrows together, somehow thinking before replying, “I think I know where.”
