EPISODE FORTY SIX
THEME: Billionaire in love
MOON STONE FORTRESS
Tapping his shoes lightly on the linoleum floor, his nerves getting the best of him as he waited for Lorelei to show up. Since he had brought flowers to her door step three nights ago, his mind had been quite unstable. He wanted to tell her a whole lot so bad. To cap it all, he was beginning to have wet dreams at the mere thought of her.
Lorelei had an effect on him that he couldn’t exactly point out. If anyone had told him his coming to Moon Stone Fortress would lead to him becoming connected to a woman he had only met almost three weeks ago he would have told such person off.
He had never been keen on being with any lady friend. All his years in college he had involved in few romps here and there but had never been keen on dating or involving in some sort of flings.
He got too busy with trying to make his company great that he stayed away from any form of controversy that involved women. Even if he must get a release of all the pent up stress, he would go far away from Chicago, hook up with an unknown person and unleash all of his inner rage with no commitment to anyone.
However, Lorelei had got him hooked the very first day he locked eyes with those rapture blue eyes that got him so smitten. He wanted beyond a kiss with her. He wanted to feel every part of her with their breaths aligning. And even his cock was beginning to react to the thought of her naked body in his arms.
“Stay put Jaylen!” He chided himself.
In a few minutes, Lorelei was out of the infirmary’s reception in her scrub. Dr Lorelei was boldly inscribed on her white overall. She looked beautiful without even trying.
“Hi.” She greeted with her beautiful smile.
“Hey.” Jaylen outstretched his hands and he hugged her.
“When you said you would be around for my lunch I thought you were joking.” Lorelei mused, admiring how prim he looked in the casual shirt and pants he rocked.
“I couldn’t miss seeing your face when I got the opportunity to do so. I have been busy with work for the past two days but I must admit all I could think of was you.” He said in one breath but with his nerves clashing against each other.
Lorelei giggled at his sincerity. Deciding to play him a bit, she folded her arms. “Why are you here exactly, Jaylen?”
“To have lunch with you and maybe go on a walk before it’s over.” He answered.
“I doubt if I would be able to decline that.” She responded dipping her hands into the pockets of the coat. “Bills is on you though.”
“Whichever way it is as long as I get to spend time with you.” He smiled heartily.
“This would be a nice time to show you round the infirmary. I am sure you must have taken note of the renovations and addition of more buildings over the years.”
Jaylen looked around in awe, massive growth and improvement was indeed obvious around the Fortress. He was proud of how hard his parents had worked in making the once Moon Stone Pack to become a Fortress and a template for others to follow.
“Ok ma’am. You would be my tourist guide for the day.” He said, stretching out his hand to hold hers in. Her palms fitted against his so much that he didn’t feel like letting it go.
Following Lorelei side by side, they got a hotdog at the infirmary’s cafeteria and after walking around for a few minutes they both settled under an open field close to the parking lot under a tree shade. The both of them sprawled out on the freshly cut grass as they watched people moving around.
Lorelei took in a deep breath and exhaled at the same time. It had been a long while since she sat down to relax in this manner.
“Don’t you think that expensive pants of yours shouldn’t be found sitting on a mere grass?” She teased
“It is obvious you just threw a jab at me. I can’t help to not wear my money’s worth.” Jaylen bragged.
Lorelei laughed. “It is how easy you slip out of whatever corner you find yourself.”
Jaylen laughed along too before staring out into space. He swallowed the last bite of his hotdog and he chugged down the rest of his juice. Jaylen waited for it all to settle in the pit of his belly as he watched Lorelei. His gaze lingered for far too long.
“Is there anyone else you are interested in at the moment?” He asked.
The question wasn’t just out of curiosity, he hoped she wouldn’t say otherwise. Lorelei forehead creased at his question.
“I realized it was impolite of me to not actually ask you when I had kissed you few nights ago.”
Lorelei chuckled. “Well I thought you already affirmed that I like you.”
“Is it enough to want to be with me?”
“Are you asking me out?”
“Am I that obvious?” He pushed back. She smiled at him. “I can’t explain this sort of feeling Lorelei, but I do know I want more of you and I can’t help how attached I am becoming with you. Not hearing your voice in a day seems like I would lose my mind. You have become an addiction and a huge part of my life in less than a month. Even though it seems scary, I want to see where this would take me. And for the second time in long years I want to follow my instincts.”
His last few words got Lorelei’s attention the more. “When was the first time you had followed your instincts and it worked?”
“When I decided to invest all of my inheritance into founding Moon Stone Group.”
Lorelei blushed hard, she tried to hide her face but failed at it. Her hair was packed in ponytail making her exposed to the inquisitive eyes of Jaylen who had been keenly watching her for a long while.
“Lorelei.” He called out with his hands reaching out to the back of her head. And without warning, Jaylen leaned closer into Lorelei and kissed her gently. His mouth savored the taste of ketchup and mustard on her lips and tongue. Lorelei moaned into his mouth as she leaned further while pulling him to herself even more. She placed her hands on his shoulder and when the kiss got more intense, her slender fingers slide into his hair.
“I want to be able to do this whenever I see you.” He whispered in a raspy voice.
“Me too.” Lorelei replied amidst the passionate kisses.
Soon they got interrupted by the beep of Lorelei’s work alarm. She giggled into his mouth.
“Work calls.” She informed him.
“Ok baby.” Jaylen muttered with his eyes bobbing out. He hoped that she wasn’t offended.
Lorelei kissed him in a hurry on the lips before she stood up. “I like the sound of that.” She whispered before walking away.
Jaylen leaned into the tree, smiling to himself like he had just won a jackpot.
