I felt someone pulling the sheet off my body, I cling to the shit tightly not opening my eyes
“Go away” I muttered sleepily turning to the other side of the bed, I was still sleeping when the fresh aroma of mashed potatoes hit my nose, making me lick my tongue unconsciously
“Kitten…wake up” I heard that familiar voice followed by a kiss on my forehead, My frown deepened as I opened my eyes, I was shocked to see Nicklaus wearing apron with a tray of food in his hand
I sighed and sat up, rubbing my eyes sleepily. I looked around and released. I’m now back in our room. My mind raced back to what happened yesterday, I remembered sleeping off in Nanny proller’s arm after Nicklaus kicked me out of the room with his mistress
“Good morning kitten” He gritted, dropping the food on the table, he bent to kiss my lips but I turned away making the kiss land on my cheeks
“Kitten…” He frowns
“How did I get here?” I ask cutting him off, I watch as he scratches his hair with a guilty expression
“Eat your food,” He said ignoring my question as he turned to walk out.
“I’m not eating any food made by you” I hissed, pushing the table aside. I expected him to get angry and leave, but what he did next surprised me.
He knelt before me as he took the plate of food and started feeding me
“Ahh….” He did and for some reason, I found myself opening my mouth and taking the food, I wanted to stop…hell, the sweetness of the food held me down till I finished the whole plate,
“I’m sorry kitten” He muttered looking into my eyes, I look deep into his eyes, they held so many emotions, hard to decipher
“What are you sorry for?” I whispered slowly
“Nothing,” He said sharply and took the plate turning away from me, I sighed
“Are we back to the old Nicklaus?” I ask sarcastically getting tired of his mood swings
“Rest kitten” He muttered and left the room giving me no room for argument.
The rest of the morning went in a blur as I watch Nicklaus prepare for work, he was done and for some reason, I crave for a goodbye kiss, he was walking out of the door when suddenly he diverted and started walking toward me
He pulled me by the waist and connected our lips together, my hands circled around his neck as I deepened the kiss, it was slow, tentative, and sweet. He slammed me against the wall as the kiss turned rough filled with possession, I could feel him laying his claims on me through the kiss.
He pulled out after some minutes, our breath was erratic, as we both were gasping for breath. His eyes roam down my already swollen lips
“Fuck kitten, you’re fucking addicting” Je groaned and ruffled his hair
“Take care” He pecked my lips and winked at me before leaving, he reached the door and turned-taking one more glance at me he walked out.
I swear I could feel butterflies dancing in my stomach, I giggled like a child and walked to the bed, I picked up my phone and started texting Nelly about all that has happened from yesterday till now.
I dropped my phone after texting Nelly, and walk out of the room going downstairs, I want to look around the whole building,
“Good morning boss lady” Every guard and maid that saw me greeted me, at first I was confused, but then it dawn on me that it might be Nicklaus’s instruction
My stomach churn again in happiness, I was at the poolside, admiring the exquisite building, every single thing in this building screams of wealth making me wonder how rich Nicklaus is………off course I use to hear about the Baldwins they are fucking rich
An idea popped into my head and I giggled excitedly walking into the building, I suddenly want to surprise Nicklaus with lunch at his office
I quickly went in search of Nanny proller
“Hi…” I wave at a maid whom I walk across
“Boss lady..” She bowled
”You can call me Ashy…. that’s short for my name Ashley”
“I’m sorry mam, I can’t,” She said with a bowled head
”Ohh…common we might be age mates you know, no need for formalities” I press further
“Alright Ashy, how can I help you,” She ask with a smile on her face
“I’m looking for Nanny proller, do you mind taking me to her, I’m used to the way around”
“Ohh sure come on,” She said walking beside me.
“Thank you” I smile,
“You have a lovely personality ma”
“You too” I nudge her shoulder and we both burst out laughing
“Here…” She pointed at Nanny proller who’s focused on cutting some vegetables not aware of our presence,
“Thanks,” I said gratefully
“You are welcome” She smile and walked away, I walk up to Nanny proller
“Good morning Nanny” I greeted, throwing some raw vegetables in my mouth
“How are you doing honey?”
“I’m fine, and you?”
“Great” She emphasizes with open hands, making me laugh
“Actually Nanny I want to make lunch for Nicklaus”
“Ohhh…that’s a great idea, all the best” She giggled and touch my forehead blessing me
“Thanks, Nanny but what’s his favorite”
“Beef stew with lots of meat” She winks at me
“Wow…. thank you” I giggled happily and pecked her cheeks, the next minutes I set off with the cooking.
I was already used to cooking food for myself, and trust me when I said I’m good at it. I was done adding all the ingredients. I stood by the corner waiting for the food to be done. I brought out a flask when it’s done and scooped a good amount, closed the flask, and packed it in a lunch box. I took it and went upstairs. It was afternoon already.
I went to the bathroom and took my bath after which I came out wrapped in a towel. I dried my body and used the hair blower to blow dry my hair after which I applied my body cream and everything. I walked towards the closet, which was already filled with clothes. I wore rugged sweatpants with a white shirt. I wore a flat slippers and carried my handbag and the lunch box, I took one out of Nicklaus’s car keys and hurried downstairs,
I already asked, Nanny for his office address, I slide into the Lamborghini and ignited the car driving off, feeling happy and anxious at the same time
