Chapter Fifteen – Who’s your master?
Rihanna’s POV
Years have passed. Lana and I were no longer the vengeful silver wolf that wanted to get back on all those who offended us.
Now, all we wanted was to get back at all those who offended anyone, especially the weak.
For three years that’s been the goal. Destroying slave port, releasing abused omegas and their Alphas being unable to say shit.
But on one similar rescuing of an Omega, I saw a secret message being sent to Red Moon about another threat, more dangerous.
It was address in a familiar way. The evil. Like in the prophecy, the prophecy I was in. It had to be the evil I was destines to stop somehow.
And I needed to know what or who it was.
The message was sent by a omega but she said it was given to her by the hunters of Black Rose who were also working under higher authorities.
I felt it was related to the incident of Red Moon wanting to kill an official in a black Rose Pack.
Camilla said she had eavesdropped on her brother being commanded to kill the man or he could destroy them.
Whatever Red Moon wanted to protect shouldn’t be protected. Whatever the Delta knew, he wasn’t ready to tell anyone, not even his Alpha.
Since it was related to me and I needed to know, I took the trouble of kidnapping the hunters to get my answers. They were once warriors.
Dara nodded and made a small bow as I came closer to the prison cells. “I blindfolded them so they won’t know who you are.”
I scoffed. “They would hear my voice and know I’m not male. I don’t care about that. They won’t be leaving soon anyway.”
I threw the door opened. The four men shivered as I walked in, the room was dark and I barely saw where they laid but I felt their energy.
And smelt their fear, my eyes changed to a shade of orange, I sped to one of them and lifted him of the ground.
He groaned, struggling. “Let me go! Your Silver please! I have a family, please!”
I threw him to the ground as per his request and dragged the blind fold off another’s eyes. His eyes widened looking into my orange orbs.
I saw the confusion in his eyes realizing I was a woman. For three years they’ve been scammed, not my fault anyway.
My hands went to my mouth and made the shhh sound. “Don’t beg or yell or you could die.” I whispered then made a small mocking pout.
He nodded quickly, placing his own fingers on his mouth. I gestured to Dara to take him away, she walked in and dragged him from the prison.
I looked back at the other men shivering and shaking. They had lost their energy so would be useless for the torment I wanted them to feel.
The man I picked was the most energetic, which meant he was their lead hunter, the best person to ask.
A bucket of cold water was poured on his face to alert his nerves. He screamed but bit it down.
“Hello, Your Silver here!” I called his attention to me, seated on my throne made of stone, grimed with blood. “Can I have your attention, please?”
He forced his head to me, water dripping from his hair to his face and mouth. He looked like a wet puppy. That was my best compliment as he was kinda cute.
I slapped the flat part of my knife on my palm. “Do you serve the Delta of Black Rose Pack? Or do you serve the Beta, Jake Justin?”
His expression stiffened but he nodded. “The Delta handles the hunters, the Beta handles the warriors.”
I pursed my lips nodding, something similar happened in our pack.
Except that the Beta instructs the warriors and hunters while the Delta goes to battle with them.
So doing that the Delta is more war-worthy than the Beta. Ironic. I wonder if this was what Alpha Wayne wanted or my father’s choice.
“Jake Justin isn’t the Beta of Black Rose Pack either.” The man huffed. He seemed to have a dislike for the man.
“Yes, he won’t be now. He’d be the Alpha.” Last time I remembered, he was the Alpha’s son.
“He is only a representative to other packs and the favorite to his uncles! Our Alpha bore two sons. The eldest is the Alpha.” The man retorted.
He seemed bitter. I hated bitter people and how dare he raise his voice at me.
I hit my hands on my throne chair and Dara poured another chilling cold water on him, making him shriek.
Why she did that I pondered on what he said? Jake wasn’t the next Alpha but had an elder brother. I was totally not expecting that.
And the Alpha bore? Was it a woman? That’d be iconic. They were few female Alphas and I’ve heard the wonders of this Black Rose Alpha.
Duchess Vivian of my old pack was originally from Black Rose so she always spoke of the Alpha’s heroism but left out her gender.
“Fine, since Jake Justin isn’t Beta, then who is? Who’s your master? The Delta or Beta? Speak now or you’d be torn to pieces.” I threatened.
He was panting heavily. “My master is the Delta. I don’t know why you are targeting him but he’s innocent and loyal.”
“That’s for Your Silver to decide not you.” Dara threw a block of ice on him. I smirked.
“If your Delta is so loyal and innocent then, why’s he messaging Red Moon pack that your Alpha hates.” I folded my arms.
The man shook his head. “He is trying to keep peace. The past Delta made a lot of mistakes and once made Red Moon hunters come after him.”
I sighed. Of course, the new Delta would be different from the old one, he’d be the son of the past Delta.
Within three years, after the Alpha King’s coronation, it was custom for other packs would change their leaders.
“The new Delta might be loyal and innocent but I need all information on what his father know. Can you tell me a way to meet with him?”
The man looked up at me, indecisively. “You meet him, you die or he dies. He won’t let you go. And he’d be with Jake, you won’t stand a chance. Stick to troubling only the packs that do slave trade and let us go.”
I slammed my throne chair. “I decide what to do not you!” Dara sensed my anger and threw another cold water on the man’s body.
“If you don’t give me that chance, you and your men will die in the most horrible way since you’d be useless to me.” I titled my head.
“What way is it going to be then?”
He gritted his teeth painful and looked down. “Fine, I’d let my Delta and Alpha’s son shred you to pieces.”
A grin spread on my face. “They are free to try.”
