Brian saw her standing beside the river, she had her back facing him. Her beautiful blond hair moved with the breeze, he had wished he could touch that beautiful hair
Upon smelling his scent, Rosie turned around with a glare on her face something Brian hates to see. He always wants to see her happy. Now he wonders what went wrong again.
” How could you do this to me, Brian ?” She attacked him taking him off guard.
He was confused ” what did I do this time ?”
” You told that stupid maid our secret dimwit”
He was even more confused .” I don’t understand you, Rosie., What secret and which of the maid ?”
She moved closer to him only to raise her hand and slapped him hard on the face. He got angry at her action making him hold her hand tightly.
He tried controlling his anger but it was difficult. Rosie winced as the pain in her hand became intense
” You’re hurting me, Brian,” she said with fear written all over her face. let go of her hand immediately upon seeing the look of pain I’m her hand. He moved backward not wanting to do something he’ll regret again.
Rosie had tears in her eyes ” if it was him, he wouldn’t have hurt me like you just did.”
He felt ashamed of himself ” I’m sorry Rosie, please forgive me. You left me no option”
She moved away from him turning her back at him ” Someone knows about the shadow”
” What!”
” Yes you heard me right, that is why I’m here right now ”
” That’s impossible. Who is that ?”
” The maid”
” Which of them ”
” Melissa”
” This is outrageous”
” Imagine my expression when Rebecca told me ”
Bryan paces around deep in thought ” This could mean she also has demon blood in her because I can’t possibly think of any better way of explaining this”
” We need to shut her up before she tells Raphael about the truth. This doesn’t sound nice right now. I can’t lose Rafael, I need to be his Luna before that happens” Rosie turned around
Bryan moved closer to her. He wiped her tears ” please don’t cry”
” Then help me find a solution” she pleaded to hope unto his shirt ” I can’t lose him, Bryan. We need to think of a better option to end that girl. She is bringing troubles to our lives and we can’t just sit and watch her have the upper hand ”
Brian pecked her forehead ” have your mind at rest. You know I’ll always make you happy so please just leave everything to me. I know what to do ”
” Please do it fast,” she said looking at him seductively. She does know how to make him bow before her. Rosie stood on her tiptoes and clashed her mouth with his. Brian pulled her closer to him in such a way that she could feel his pruning manhood.
Rosie smiled upon seeing her handwork. She made the kiss deeper and Bryan wasted no time in tearing her dress and making love with her like they always do. It was a secret they both promised to keep forever.

The king received news from an old-time friend which riled him up. The people of the North were all worried upon the king’s request to talk to all of them both the visiting and the pack’s members.
They were worried because it was so sudden and most especially as early as this. Some were still in their nighties and some are already ready to start working. This must be important, they all thought.
The beta who was also oblivious to what was going on stood beside the kind eager to know what the announcement is all about. The king stood in his glory, staring down at the pack members.
” I know this gathering is sudden and most of you are wondering right now what it is all about. I promise you, it’s not something you need to worry about. A good friend of mine gave me a call about some rogues amongst us. ”
The crowd was shocked upon hearing the news. How was that even possible? They thought to themselves. The security in this palace is so tight that it’s so surprising that a rogue was able to enter.
” I know how you feel right now and we are at the point of fishing them out. I stand here before you my people, I promise to protect every one of you with everything in me. Be cautious of who is around you and I know together we’ll fish them out ”
” All hail the Alpha!!! ” They chorused.
” and to the rogues, I know you are also watching and listening. Just know that your days are numbered, sooner or later you’ll be exposed so enjoy the hide and seek while it last. ” He said.
The pack members looked at their neighbors.
” So, with all this happening, I’ve decided to cancel the fight. The fight has ended. Nobody is fighting anybody ”
The crowd groaned, they’ve waited long enough to witness the fight between Melissa and Rosie. Hearing this right now is like telling them they’ll be left with no food for months.
Even Brian’s eyes bulged out surprised. He had also anticipated this fight as he had something cooked up for that day. The king said this right now isn’t what he’d expected. This means his plans are going down the drain, he thought to himself.
Bryan still had it in mind to persuade the king hopefully he’ll change his mind. But on second thought, he knew the king doesn’t go back on his words. Whatever he says must surely be abode by. He scan the crowd where he saw the maid staring at the king with a confused expression.
What power does this girl have that he doesn’t know? Bryan thought to himself. It’s only possible for a wolf with demon blood to see the shadow or is she a witch? That isn’t possible. Witches can never be a wolf. He knew this was time for him to find out her real identity and what connections she has with the dark world.
Having a way itch’s blood does come in handy for him. His mother left something he’ll be grateful for. This way he’ll make it hard for the maid to ever end up with the king. First, he needs to achieve his aim before destroying whatever the king and the maid might have.
King Raphael finally ended his speech. He dismissed the crowd and also turned to go back to his palace. Brian user that opportunity to stop the king by calling his name.
” Yes, Bryan? What is it?”
