King Alpha’ pov
He sipped his cup of wine happy that his plans worked out accordingly. Raphael all along wanted the fight to go this way. He vouches for the maid to win. It came at a dim minute when a thought came to him about the new reward he had set.
He never thought of allowing the winner if it wasn’t because of his wolf’s persistence. Rex didn’t leave him to rest not until he carried out his wish.
All in all, Raphael was still glad that she won, that way he can finally know more about her. She was like the air he breath nowadays, her smile makes him want to smile, her eyes speaks many languages that he wish he can read her but she made it hard. It was as if there was a barrier blocking him from knowing her.
He knew nothing about her, her thinking was blocked from him. Everything about her was just so difficult to read but with the help of his close friend he’ll find out why this is all happening.
A knock was heard.
” Come in,” he said dropping the glass of wine.
Rosie walked in wearing her short dress looking sexy as usual. It’ll be hard for mateless wolf not to fall for her. She’s got the beauty in all the right places something Raphael can’t deny about. She is not his type no matter how hard he tried to see to it that their relationship works out, it just seems meaningless.
” Rosie? What do you want? ” He asked as she walks into the office swaying her hips like the sexy goddess she was.
She smiled not fazed with his attitude towards her. She was about to move closer to him when he stopped her with his hand.
” Don’t”
She felt bad about the way he treats her. The glass of wine on the table didn’t go past her ” so what’s the celebration all about ?” She asked pointing at the wine.
He  kept a straight face ” Am I not allowed to have a glass of wine in my office?”
Rosie huffs then took the seat opposite him ” I was only asking ”
He glared irritated with her being disrespectful ” watch the way you talk to me ”
She folded her arms with a pout ” For goodness sake Raphael, I was only asking a question. A harmless question”
He cocked a brow ” I hate to be questioned, you know that ?” He simply said.
Rosie rolled her eyes in annoyance. All her life she had wasted waiting for Raphael to finally love her but each passing day he makes it even more difficult for her. She was only ten years old when she first saw him and he was five years older than her. It was love on the first side to her. Even when her parent told her about her having a mate in the future, Rosie was still adamant about loving him.
He got tired of her always trying to hand out around him even when he told her as at then that he has a girlfriend. She didn’t care at all and still help this hope in her that one day he will fall for her. She tried all her best but nothing worked out. Even when he lost his girlfriend, things were still the same between them.
” What brought you here ?” He asked looking annoyed. He didn’t bother hiding his annoyance.
She pouted already used to this side of him ” I just came to say hello to you but I can see I’m not welcome ”
He rolled his eyes ” I’m busy”
” You’re always busy” she retorted.
” Aren’t you supposed to be practicing for your upcoming fight ?” He asked.
” Is this your way of driving me away from your office ?” She huffs
” Watch you speak to me” he warned
” I’m sorry” she apologized.
He let out a tired breath ” Now what else do you want ?”
” Please stop treating me this way, Rafael. It hurts coming from you. You know how I love you and you that I can do anything just to be with you”
” I never asked you to love me,” he said
” Your words are hurtful” she had tears in her eyes ” I love you so much, Rafael. I rejected my mate just for you and you know that ”
” But I don’t love you. I never asked you to love me. Please go out of my office before I do or say something I’ll regret later”
She wiped her tear-stained face with the back of her hand ” you can’t get rid of me. Whether you like it or not, I’ll see to it that you finally end up living me as much as I love you”
He raised a brow smiling ”  Remember, I’m the king Alpha and no one dares to threaten me. I always do the threaten and because of what you’ve done, you are hereby banned from entering my office. The next time I see your legs in her, I’ll punish you for it ”
She got up with red eyes ” Mark my words. You’ll beg to love me ” with that she walked out of the room.
Raphael let out a sigh. He knew that was harsh coming from him but she left him with no option. He shrugged it away from the pour more wine into his cup. He has other important things to think about.

Rosie was heading to her room when she heard her name being called. She turned around only to see her maid, Rebecca walking to catch up with her.
If a look could kill, Rebecca would have been six feet buried underground.
” Look who we have here” She folder her arm.
Rebecca was ashamed ” I’m so sorry miss Rosie, I tried all I could but that savage of a maid was Corny than I thought.”
” You are just foolish that’s it. You promised to win and I put my trust in you put you fucked it up. I don’t want to ever see your face  again”
Rebecca went on her knees, she held into Rosie’s feet but only to be kicked She groaned in pain but wasn’t giving up.
” Let me go you stinky maid” she kicked her again but Rebecca held on tight.
” Please listen to me, I have something important to say to you” Rebecca pleased.
Rosie let out a sigh then folded her arms to listen to what she had to say ” I’m all here and be fast about it.”
” The maid knows about our secret”
Rosie blinked twice not sure of what she heard ” Which of the secret?”
” The shadow, she saw it ”
” That’s impossible! How ?” Rosie whispered yelled ” I know you must have told her about it. No one is supposed to know except he or she has demon blood in them ”
Rebecca was quiet.
Rosie could believe what she just heard. This isn’t right at all. No one is supposed to know about this. She’ll be in trouble if the king or anyone finds out about this.
” LEAVE !”
Rebecca need not be told twice she ran away in fear.
Rosie was restless, she needs an answer to this. She needs an answer right this moment.

Bryan was watering the flowers in his garden when he felt a sting on his neck. He looked up only to see a blackbird with a paper in-between his mouth. He knew what that means so he took the paper.
‘Meet me right now ‘ the letter says.
He dropped the gallon of water in his hand and went up straight to their meeting point.

Ashely was headed home after the long day of work she had. She was tired to be this stressed. At some PO, int she felt jealous of Melissa who might be sleeping by now.
Ashley sighed, she wanted the attention Melissa was receiving too. She wished it was her too. She also wants to be treated like a princess, the love Melissa is having now is becoming more.
She pushed the door and her thought couldn’t be more right. Melissa was sprawled on the bed sleeping her day out. Ashley rolled her eyes and worst of it all was, there was a trolley having varieties of food in it. Her eyes bulged out when she saw the rich food. Food that only the royals eat not maids like them.
Ashley couldn’t help it so she woke Melissa up.” Melissa… Wake up”
Melissa opened her eyes confused at why her food was cut short ” you’re back”
” Yes, I’m back. Who brought all this food?” Ashley asked already salivating.
” Jemima sent a maid to bring it. The rest are for you and Lisa, I’ve been waiting all day for you guys.”
Upon hearing that, Ashley dropped her sandals on the floor, she dragged the trolley closer to her making Melissa giggle in the process.
” Exactly my reaction when they brought it in for me. What of Lisa”
” I’m sure is already asleep” Ashley shrugged but her attention was on the food.
Melissa didn’t say much, she allowed her to continue enjoying her dinner.
