Samantha’s Pov
“Isn’t that Cassie?” Alpha Kayden asked.
“Not at all Alpha, she is not the one, Cassie has blonde hair, I very well know this girl,” I said I was kind of lost in my anger and on the screen that I forgot to pay adequate respect to Alpha Kayden.
“I… I am sorry Alpha Kayden.” I apologized, moving backwards from the monitor. I was too close to it and too close to Alpha too
“Do not apologize when you do nothing wrong,” he said.
“I… was too close to you, that is what I am apologizing for Alpha,” I said with a slight bow and heard him groan.
“Can you stop apologizing repeatedly?” He asked but it was more of an order.
“Yes Alpha” I mumbled a response.
“Uhm… about this girl, she is the one who gave me a glass of watermelon juice the other day to give to you,” I said, pointing to the screen once more.
“Follow me.” his words came as he moved his weight off the chair he was sitting on and headed towards the door.
I moved quickly after him and followed after him.
He walked briskly and walked forward but this time around I did not feel too much of his cold aura, perhaps this was because I was walking a bit farther from him or for some other reason.
He walked back to the maid’s quarters with me tagging along.
“What’s he going to do?” Cara asked.
“I have no idea,” I replied.
“Let’s just hope he does something good,” Cara said making me wonder what she meant by something good.
Alpha Kayden made his way into the rowdy and noisy maid’s quarters. His presence made the quarters go quiet almost immediately, his coldness rising and freezing everyone.
“Out,” he said, his eyes on the girl that had taken the keys from my bag.
“A… Alpha Kayden.” she stuttered, sweats breaking from her forehead.
“I would not love to repeat myself.” Alpha Kayden said, not sparing her anymore glance.
She moved out and fell onto her knees.
“I… I am sorry Alpha Kayden.” she cried, confessing immediately.
“If sorry was so easy, then people like me would not be needed.” Alpha Kayden said making everyone shudder, his words were cold.
His demeanour showed that he could rip off her neck at that moment.
“Please… please sir… i… it was all a mistake… I apologize deeply for my actions.” she cried and tried holding Alpha Kayden’s legs but he kicked his legs and sent her sprawling off to the nearby floor.
“Weakling” Cara snorted.
“Yeah, she really is. Alpha Kayden didn’t kick her.” I replied Cara and saw Cassie looking at me.
I gave her a small smile and she responded with the same.
“I am sorry, please… please forgive me Alpha… forgive me sir.” she pleaded, bowing repeatedly and hitting her forehead on the hard floor.
Her head was red and soon it started bleeding but Alpha Kayden did not even spare her a glance, his gaze was still cold. It seemed like he was still going to kill her no matter how much she punished herself.
Alpha Kayden stood without any reaction for some moments and then some guys walked in and I guessed that he had mind linked them to come, so those guys were probably wolves too.
“Take her away, do to her whatsoever you deem fit.” alpha Kayden said and turned to leave.
Whatsoever….. that could include killing her. Even though she had tried to put me into trouble, her being killed is still something I could not hold.
Without a second thought, I fell to the floor and went to my knees.
“Alpha… alpha Kayden… please spare her.” I pleaded, hitting my forehead on the floor too.
For minutes, I continued the act with the girl, the both of us pleading profusely. l before Alpha Kayden finally spoke up.
“Didn’t you hear me? I told you to take her away and do whatsoever to her.” He roared in that yet cold voice and began to walk out.
The guys carried the girl away while I remained on the floor. I wondered what would be the girl’s fate, someone had probably had her do that.
She was most probably just a victim too. Cassie walked up to me and helped me up from where I was kneeling.
“He.. he is going to kill her?” I asked and she pressed her lips into a thin line.
“I have no idea,” she replied.
“He… he is this cold?” I asked slowly and she sighed.
“Forget about it… don’t think about it, you must be having a headache now. Alpha Kayden does not forgive or change his decisions so easily,” she said to me and I touched my burning forehead.
It was hurting really bad, I rubbed it slightly.
“I would get a balm, it would get swollen soon if we don’t do something about it,” Cassie said while I just stared on at the door, wondering what the girl would go through.
“I pray she is not harmed,” I mumbled and sat back on my bed.
Lauren’s POV
“Miss. Lauren,” Melissa called me and I followed after her.
We both walked into the lonely garden, Melissa looked around for some seconds before turning back to me who was already dying from curiosity.
“What is happening currently?” I asked.
“The girl… the girl who stole Alpha Kayden’s let’s has been taken away.” She replied and my eyes widened slightly.
“How… how come?” I asked.
“Alpha Kayden was not supposed to even investigate things, he was supposed to be angry and throw out Samantha for losing his keys but no… he went to check the monitor and he found her out,” she replied and I breathed in and out anger.
“That girl! Who does she think she is?!” I grabbed a flower and crushed it in my hands.
“The girl who has been taken away right now has to be saved, I don’t know how but Miss. Lauren it would be trouble for the both of us if she mentions the names that we had her to get the keys,” she said.
“That stupid orphan called Samantha! I would be the one to kill her eventually!”
