Lemon was infuriated by Drew, and that doubled when a girl suddenly showed up from nowhere and kissed him in front of them.
“Drew, that’s too SPG. Do it somewhere else!” Kellen told them off.
Drew blushed in embarrassment, but the guest raised a brow at Kellen. “Do we have a problem here?” the girl sneered.
“I can give you one if you want,” Kellen snapped. The girl was about to reply, but before she could say more, Drew dragged her outside.
Regardless, Kellen didn’t stop ranting, “That bitch! She’s not even pretty! I would have bowed down to her if she wasn’t looking like a clown with all the colors on her face!”
Roj tried to shut her up, “Hey, lower your voice! She might hear you!”
“So what?! This ain’t even Drew’s place!” she spat.
They all chuckled at her reaction. They liked it when she acted like a momzilla, especially to these kinds of stuff. And it was because she was keen on maintaining the group’s wholesome image.
After a while, Lemon stood up and headed upstairs. She grabbed her bag from the big room and went for a bath. When she returned, she was surprised by the scene she witnessed.
The girl who came for Drew was straddling him. In all fairness, he was trying his best to push her away. And when Drew saw Lemon, the girl almost fell because he suddenly stood up.
Not paying attention to them, Lemon went straight to the shoe rack, grabbed her sneakers, and exited the room. She went downstairs to put on her shoes while the boys played video games again.
“Where are you going, Partner?” Kevz asked, his eyes not leaving the monitor.
“I’m going home!”
They paused their game and turned to look at her. “Aren’t you going to wait for us?” Homme asked.
“I need to be home by lunch. I have a visitor coming,” she informed them.
What she said piqued Kevz’s interest. He put down the controller and sat on the couch. “And who is it?” narrowing his eyes at her.
“Levi and his Dad are coming,” she smiled.
“Levi? As in your ex-suitor?” Homme confirmed, and she nodded.
They looked at each other, talking with their eyes. Kevz scratched the back of his head before leaning on the couch and letting out a long sigh.
“Is there something wrong?” Lemon asked while looking at them alternately.
“If you’re leaving, too. What will happen to Drew and that girl?” he asked.
“What do you mean? Do you want me to look after them?” she chuckled.
“That’s not what we mean. It’s just that Kip had already left, and we’re about to go home, too. Of course, if you’re going home, then Kale will leave. Who will stay with them?” Homme whispered.
“Exactly! The girl seems aggressive. What if she molests Drew?” Kevz added.
Lemon was unsure whether they were being serious or just teasing her. Regardless, she shook her head and tapped their shoulders.
“You don’t have to worry. The girl had been molesting Drew even before I came down. I’ll go ahead!”
Meanwhile, Drew was already on his way down when he heard their conversation. He felt terrible when he learned Lemon was expecting Levi and his father. He even thought of faking a fall so she wouldn’t leave.
Annoyed, he snatched his arm from Minnie as her lips pouted again. He ran downstairs and sat on the couch, and unfortunately, the leech sat next to him, too.
What annoyed him even more was that he didn’t even get to see Lemon before she left. ‘How does she look like? What was she wearing? Did she dress up for their lunch date?’
“Aren’t you gonna introduce me to them?” she asked flirtily.
“This is Minnie,” he simply told his friends. “These are Kevz and Homme.” After that, Drew stood up only to be pulled back to his seat. The boys even laughed as they saw how he scowled at Minnie. “What?”
“Let’s go home, I’m kinda hungry,” she whined.
“We still have a band practice. You go ahead if you want.”
“You’re still in that band? That’s so childish, babe! Let’s just go home!”
Homme shook his head while Kevz rolled his eyes. They were starting to get annoyed, too. Who won’t when even the way she speaks is irritating?
“Just go ahead. I’ll stay here. If you want to stay, might as well shut up!” Drew warned.
Minnie sighed and stomped her foot. “Be sure you’re home by 8!” then she stormed out of the studio.
“Aren’t you going to follow her?” Homme asked. Drew just shook his head before plopping on the couch.
“Who’s that?” Kevz pried.
“My ex.”
“You like leeches, dude,” Homme commented.
“She likes aggressive girls,” Kevz added, and Drew shot them a death glare but to no avail as they just continued laughing.
Ignoring the two, he placed an arm over his eyes and started thinking about the events. If Minnie was there, that meant Bianca was there too.
And if Bianca’s there, that could only mean one thing. Myco has already arrived. Long story short, they will get started with their plan any time soon.
In a state of panic, Drew stood up and ran upstairs. He washed his hair, left it unkempt, and brushed his teeth. Then he entered the big room to get dressed.
Without even bidding their friends goodbye, he ran out of the studio. He didn’t even look back when Homme and Kevz called for him.
When he arrived home, he went straight to his father’s office, but Chris wasn’t there. Drew ran to the garden and saw his mother, “Where’s dad?” he asked as he tried to catch his breath.
“He’s at the office. Your cousins were there,” Melinda told him, and he confirmed everything. ‘What will I do now?’
Without wasting another minute, he kissed his Mom and ran out. Drew called their driver and asked him to drive to their company.
He headed straight to the executive elevator. He doesn’t usually do that but has to use it at that time to reach his father’s office quickly.
“Hey, son, slow down!” Chris told him when he accidentally banged open the office door.
“Where’s Ysmael? Is he with Myco?” he fired away.
Chris nodded, rubbing his chin and narrowing his eyes at his son. “Is something wrong?” he asked, but Drew shook his head.
“I missed them, that’s all,” he shrugged, but Chris wasn’t convinced.
His father knew there was more to it than simply missing his cousins. But before Chris could start probing, Drew excused himself and ran out of the office.
On his way home, he kept thinking of places where he could find them. He needed to talk to Ysmael and Myco before they got started with their plan. He had to be with them so he would know what to do.
He had to know what his cousins were up to so he could protect Lemon from them. He must protect her no matter what.
Meanwhile, Lemon arrived at an empty house. She expected Letty to be there but was nowhere to be found. Even Levi and his Dad were yet to come.
Feeling tired, all of a sudden, she headed to her room and dropped to her bed. She was about to doze off when her phone pinged.
She received a friend request notification. There was a total of fourteen requests, and one of them caught her attention. It was from someone named Yel Avanzeña.
Lemon checked the profile and accepted the request when she confirmed it was the person she knew. And then a message popped up.
‘Hi, gorgeous! How are you?’
And the convo went on. Yel told her he just returned from California and stayed at the same hotel where they met, so he remembered her.
He searched for her on Facebook and fortunately found her. The question was, how did he know her last name?
She tried recalling if she mentioned it to him, but Lemon was sure she never did. They had only met twice, so it wasn’t hard to remember.
But instead of making a fuss out of it, she just dropped the subject. Yel looked harmless anyway.
