Chapter 16 Private Meeting

Book:Torturous Love of the CRUEL BOSS Published:2024-5-1

Mandel stormed out of Regina’s apartment, enraged. But, as He sat in the car, his fury did not fade, but rather grew stronger.
This wicked woman had the audacity to refuse him three times. Did she honestly believe he had no temper? Or was she eager to have an abortion in order to marry Noah?
Too much force caused his knuckles on the driving wheel to become white. Mandel started the car, and as he was ready to drive away, he noticed a man who appeared to be extremely close to Regina in his field of vision.
“How close do you two get? You even know where she lives.”
Mandel slammed the steering wheel fiercely as he noticed Albert, who had removed his doctor’s garb and was headed toward Regina’s apartment.
The next second, he jumped out of the black car and followed Albert’s movements.
“What brings you here?” For a little moment, Regina was taken aback. She hadn’t told Dr. Thompson her address, but he knew she lived here. “How do you know I live here?” she asked, with a faint grimace.
“I don’t believe it’s unusual that a doctor knows his patient’s home address.” Albert murmured politely as he placed the food in his palm.
Regina responded absentmindedly, and her left hand subconsciously massaged her lower abdomen…
“If you can’t take it anymore, let’s keep the child!”
Albert sighed softly and talked slowly in an attempt to persuade Regina.
Her fingers involuntarily pushed power on her lower abdomen, and Mandel’s indifferent face flashed uncontrollably in her memory. Regina was the most embarrassed about what to do with this child.
“Is this why you insist on getting an abortion, Regina?”
The man kicked in the door of Regina’s house, which was not substantial, with a loud “Boom!”
The man in the black suit looked indifferent and furious.
“Didn’t you already leave?”
Regina’s whole body got nervous instinctively as she subconsciously stared at Albert next to her.
“Do you think I’m playing a joke on you? Dr. Thompson appears to have ignored my warning.” The man in front of her was freezing. With one hand, he aggressively seized Albert’s collar.
“Who gave you the confidence to meet with my woman in secret?”
The man’s face was gloomy, and his body was filled with violence.
“Oh! Your woman.” “If I’m not incorrect, your fiancée appears to be someone else!” said Albert warmly.
His two simple comments definitely enraged Mandel.
Regina’s breath was strangling when she heard the word fiancée. Cecily was Mandel’s fiancée. What was she in Mandel’s eyes?
“Stop talking!”
Regina yelled. She wanted to say something, but her wrist was holding her back. Mandel hauled her out as she staggered.
“What are you doing! Let me go.”
The man was deafeningly silent, his lovely features dismal and frightening. The rage in his black eyes was more intense than anything Regina had ever witnessed.
“Regina!”
Albert’s worried voice could be heard behind her. He appeared to be pursuing her. Regina was both surprised and terrified, unsure what Mandel would do to him in this position.
So, she gazed at Albert with eager eyes, but as soon as she turned back, Mandel’s hard and stern gaze scared her away.
The man accelerated his pace. He pushed Regina inside the car as he opened the door.
“You’re insane, Mandel. What are you taking me to?” Regina was sweating nervously and wanted to flee via the car door, but the man’s strong chest was like a wall that barred her.
“Is that why you want an abortion?” “Regina, you are cheap enough to drive me away and turn around to meet other guys,” Mandel said, his voice icy and emotionless.
“Do you think I’ll let you succeed?”
His frigid voice cut through the air. The rage in his eyes was seen on Regina’s face.
Regina felt extremely uneasy being stared upon by such eyes. The image of him and Cecily hugging went through her thoughts, and she couldn’t help but frown: “How many times do you want me to repeat myself? It makes no difference to you what kind of man I am with. Mr. Martin, our transaction is complete.”
Her indifferent words completely ignited the man’s anger.
Mandel forcefully tightened the seat belt and ‘tied’ Regina to the co-pilot before kicking the accelerator and driving away.
Regina was anxious not just about Albert, who had been abandoned, but also about where Mandel had taken her.
The driver of the car remained silent. His thin fingers caressed the cigarette before putting it down.
Mandel was driving very fast, and within a moment, a quaint yet luxurious villa appeared in front of Regina.
“Why did you bring me to Martin’s villa?”
Regina was cautious. She made it out of Martin’s house with tremendous difficulty. Going back now would be self-inflicted, wouldn’t it?
“Shut up!”
Mandel’s commanding demeanor was undeniable. He walked around to untie her and dragged her into Martin’s front door.
“Iris, arrange a room for her.”
The tone used by Mandel was not polite. Iris dashed off to prepare for Regina, and Hannah happened to step down from the second level. At a glance, she noticed Mandel tightly clutching Regina’s hand.
“Why did you return so late, Mandel?” Hannah smiled warmly and said, “Isn’t this the Miller family’s child? Why have you brought her back? Some individuals are hesitant to enter our Martin’s house, and they do not think whether they are worthy of entering Martin’s house.”
Hannah’s nasty words hit her square in the face. Regina roared in rage, and the simmering fire finally found a way out.
“You’re quite commanding. I’m afraid you won’t be able to find a woman who has been in prison to marry your insane son. Everyone is equal.”
“You!” Hannah’s chest heaved when he heard the words. She raised her slap high and was about to land on Regina’s face when she was stopped by the man next to her.
“She is the one I took back with me. I’ll figure out how to handle it.”
The man’s remarks rang out. Hearing the words, Hannah lowered her hand reluctantly and smiled proudly: “Well, you eloquent girl, I won’t care about you today.”
Mandel had a sorrowful expression on his face and was clutching Regina’s wrist.
