“If you do not then I won’t hesitate to bring you down, protecting a criminal also over our and your boundary.” With such a command the doctor did as he said.
Gemini was taken home by Arlene and she was indeed happy to be home. After all that happened, it left her traumatized and scared first by the police and second by her own husband. It wasn’t long for Layton to arrive.
“I hope you’re not mad at me again.” Gemini denied.
“I just hope all is well between the two of you.”
“Yes they are but I fear the police might be closing in on us. ” He said with a smile.
“We shouldn’t have gone there and I just pray that I won’t have to see that side of you again.” Layton chuckled then frowned.
“It won’t be a promise though. I had to do what was right for you Gem, you need respect and they will give you that respect either by force or not.” Gemini blushed heavily by his words.
“I love you a lot.” Layton smiled widely and warmed his heart to hear her say those words.
“I love you more.”
Gemini was home alone but at that time Layton wasn’t at the hospital but Gemini didn’t know why. She also didn’t hear about Strider since the whole fight. Layton later made his way in holding a medium-sized bag. The girl ran towards him and welcomed him.
“Where were you? The others said you weren’t at work.” Layton nodded then handed her the bag.
“What is this for.” She stared at the bag he handed her.
“I was at the hospital just getting some checkups.”
“Isn’t it risky? I mean what if they further test your blood and find out your identity.”
“That won’t be a threat. I know the guy really well.”
“You mean he already knows about our kind?” Layton nodded.
“He gave me some medication and I need you to keep them.”
“Why me? Why can’t you hand them over to Arlene?” Layton refused.
“I trust you that’s why.”
“I need this for the upcoming day and I can’t however miss this.” The girl was still oblivious but didn’t want to ask even more questions. Layton walked to his room and Gemini followed behind but didn’t want why.
“What is it?” Layton asked Gemini as he sat on the bed.
“Well I felt bored so I thought I would come to talk to you.” He got up and walked towards her feeling her moist hair in his hands then planted a small kiss.
“Got another surprise.” He placed his hand under the pillow and pulled out another case exactly the same as the last one. He handed the case to Gemini she opened the case and saw another necklace but better than the last. The necklace had diamonds crusted around it and three larger diamonds on the center.
“Another necklace? This one is way better than the last one.” Layton smiled.
“I bought this necklace for a reason.” Gemini raised a brow.
“These three represent Edward, Tiana, and….. well I haven’t thought of the other name.” Gemini gave a confused look.
“What are you talking about?” She laughed in between. Layton smiled.
“Our kids of course what else would I be talking about.” Gemini laughed even louder she herself hadn’t thought of having a child.
“You’ve been bust yourself. You thought of these names?” She giggled.
“of course I did what else after all we are married aren’t we?” Gemini accepted, she did think it would be great if they had a child or children.
“What about the rest of the diamonds?” Gemini asked Layton jokingly wanting to hear what he would say.
“For the rest that will come but for now I mostly want at least three.” Gemini laughed again, she had fallen deeply for her husband and couldn’t imagine what he was saying to her.
“Well, children don’t come on their own.” She giggled hoping he would get what she meant and the smile on her face proved that he did.
“Of course they don’t.” They both laughed and shared a long but passionate kiss. They both tried for a baby.
Layton sat on a large table with his pack members and Strider was there with them.
“Well most of you might not know this but a woman was found dead by the square just miles close to our boundary and I need answers.” Layton turned his glance towards Dakota since she was in charge.
“Sir, we didn’t receive any news about this issue.” She stuttered but Layton wasn’t pleased with her response.
“You are in charge and responsible for matters like this, I told you to keep an eye and if anything goes wrong you should report.” She looked down hoping the alpha would understand.
“I apologize.” She had the strength to speak out.
“You better do your job or I’ll force you to do it right.” The girl nodded thanking them he had not done anything.
” So I need you to look at it and give me a report, am not sure who we are dealing with but I may know.” They all accepted.
“I’ll get a crew and they will investigate the matter but we would also have to deal with the police.” Layton knew they would always be a problem that was why he had to move.
“Just make sure they do not track your movements and be extra careful.”
