Jeremy gushed as he ran up to her and embraced her tightly. Natasha took a deep sniff of the sweat and dirt that had accumulated on his shoulders. “You’ve returned.”
After a while, Jeremy cupped her pretty cheeks in his palms and palmed her hair before withdrawing.
“Forgive me for worrying myself sick over you, Jeremy. We were worried that anything had happened to you. “With her eyes fixed on his, Natasha murmured. “I know. On the way back, we were assaulted, and the King was injured. Oh,” Jeremy said, explaining. Exactly how is His Majesty the King doing? “Natalie questioned.
“He’s doing OK right now; it’s all good. “Jeremy disengaged after hearing her reply.
“What’s the status of my little one?”
He approached the sleeping infant, who resembled her mother in appearance, and inquired, “Is she all right?” He plopped down on the edge of the bed and ran his finger down the rosy cheek.
When he said, “She’s so gorgeous,” Natasha did nothing except stare vacantly on.
He knelt down and gently brushed his lips across the infant’s cheek.
“Oh, Natasha,” he groaned, shaking his head. “You have no idea how much I need this; how desperately I need this family. I long for the day when you will be my Queen and our children will run about together. Simply using one’s imagination is mind-boggling. “When he looked over at Natasha, he beamed.
“I’d like that, too, Jeremy,” she said. “To that end, why don’t we start working right away? ”
Jeremy got to his feet, approached her, and gently stroked her cheeks. He reached down and lightly stroked her nipples while she was still dressed. “How long until you feel ready for sex again? “As his gaze wandered down her thighs, his voice became sterner.
The midwife and I had a lengthy discussion about it, and she advised me to wait two weeks. That implies I should be prepared by the beginning of next week. Upon hearing her reply, Jeremy nodded his approval.
“Okay, let’s put it off until next week. I’ll make sure this time around that it’s a boy. ” A statement he made.
“I don’t want to go through the hardship of having a female kid for nine months again, so you’d better be sure, Jeremy. “”Don’t worry, Natasha; you’ll have a male child this time around. That’s a guarantee.” He drew her in for a kiss and held her tightly.
Ella had already had a bath when Diana came in, and she had announced to the queen that she wished to prepare tea for the king.
As she accompanied Diana to the kitchen, she said, “The King is extremely fatigued and requires a lot of sleep.”
I noticed that he was having trouble sleeping while we were at the Herbalist’s house, and given his recent injury, he needs to sleep more than usual. So, all I want to do is give my tea a shot and see if it helps calm him down.
It’s hard to keep track of how many treatments the King has attempted. Even though Queen Olivia makes him tea, none of it has ever helped him get to sleep. According to what Diana had to say.
“Um… well, I merely want to make an effort,” Ella sputtered.
She also told the monarch that she would be seeing her father that day without providing any details as to why. She obviously couldn’t share the Herbalist’s daughter’s confidence with just anybody.
Once they entered the kitchen, Ella quickly began to work gathering the herbs she would need. She pulverized the leaves, added hot water, mixed the resulting green liquid, and strained it. She sighed with relief as she stared at her ready cup of coffee and added sugar to counteract the sourness from the leaves. At that point, she raised it above her head and began to meditate in silence.
“Dear souls, she greeted us. I hope it has an effect, and that as the King drinks it, he is so overwhelmed by sleep that his problems fade away. May the strongest wave of dizziness hit him hard, forcing his muscles to relax and making his eyes too heavy to stay open. “She bowed her head and dropped the cup, presumably hoping that her prayers would be heard. Diana saw from a distance, fascinated.
“Um…. Could you possibly…. send this to me? “, Ella asked Diana.
“I don’t get it. I don’t see any reason for me to take such action. “Diana laughed at her, but Ella had no comeback.
Diana said, “Don’t tell me you’re terrified, Ella. The King may be cranky, but he doesn’t bite, so please don’t be afraid to approach him. Give it to him as soon as possible. ”
“Can I ask you something? ”
“What if he doesn’t like it? Or gets really mad? ”
Of course he won’t be furious about it. “Simply give it to him, all right? “Diana argued over this, and after a while more, Ella departed with the tea.
“Enter,” and the door opened with a guard taking a few steps past it.
“Let her in,” he replied, and the guard bowed and left.
Shortly thereafter, the door opened again with a nervous Ella coming in, and by this time, Spenser had already taken his seat.
Ella walked in with the cup of tea placed on a small tray, her head lowered and her cheeks turning all red.
Without meeting her gaze, Spenser opened a book and said, “How are you doing, Ella? ”
“I’m… I’m alright, My King,” he insisted on knowing. To anyone it may concern, please accept my gratitude. ”
She said, “Um….,” noticing the intense aroma that surrounded him. “My King.”
“Sorry to be a bother, but I’ve got tea ready for you. “That was the very moment she feared, and it sent her heart racing.
At this, Spenser halted. “Why, if I may inquire? “Ella took a deep breath, her face was starting to heat up.
