Oh! Of course, she knows all about fierce Queen Jade from her readings. She was a stern and crafty Queen in her day, and she caused a lot of grief for Spenser’s mom. So, Spenser’s mom was a tigress, too, and she never had a weak spot. She meted out punishment commensurate with what Queen Jade had earned.
Incredulous, Ella stared at Queen Jade in awe.
It’s a pleasure to meet you, Queen Jade. Except for Ella, who was completely unaware of the protocol, everyone welcomed at the same moment.
She stutteringly added, “Greetings, Queen Jade.” Queen Jade said nonchalantly, “Greetings to you all,” as she sat down next to her son, Jeremy.
The housekeepers had finished preparing dinner and were now delivering it to each of us in our own places. “Is the King not coming to eat with us today?” Staring at his vacant chair, the Queen of Jade questioned.
As you well know, he has a voracious appetite. Queen Olivia said, “It’s possible he doesn’t want to eat right now,” but at that moment, they heard King Spenser’s footsteps and turned to see him enter.
Looking at him brought back the terror from the night before, and the words, “Three nights,” echoed in Ella’s thoughts.
She would only have two more chances to lose her virginity and become entirely his after tonight.
They all bowed low and greeted the king respectfully, “Greetings, My King”
As he proceeded to the head of the table, Spenser said nothing.
“Greetings”. He fumbled his sheath to the opposite side of the table and murmured something. Without hesitation, the servants raced to serve him as Spenser surveyed the dinner guests.
His extended family includes his stepmother, stepbrother, Queen Olivia, Natasha, Diana, and the most recent addition, Ella. He stared at her for longer than he had at anybody else.
Seeing as how the King was gazing at her, Ella became quite nervous. Despite her best efforts to avoid his gaze as she retrieved a spoonful of sauce, she caught himself looking at her. His ice-cold stare sent shivers down her spine. As Spenser put it, “I was starting to worry you wouldn’t turn up.”
He looked away from Ella because of what the Queen of Jade stated.
You strolled in as I was asking.
Yes…
With a sigh, “I simply thought of giving it a try,” Spenser responded.
Suddenly, he looked at her and yelled out, “Natasha.” To ask, “How are you doing right now?” Natasha seemed to lose some of her brightness in the eyes. That’s why he’d started to consider her.
Perfunctorily, she said, “I’m alright, My King,” without meeting his gaze.
When asked, “How is the newborn?” Natasha mentally sneered at his follow-up question. We’re doing OK, she said.
Her heart ached to tell him she was furious with him for ignoring her and the baby since she gave birth, but she was well aware of the king’s wrath and refrained.
Pregnancy protocol called for her to remain in seclusion for many weeks after giving birth. But the witch broke all the laws by appearing in public just four days after giving birth. She scoffed furiously to herself as she reflected on the pitiful state of affairs.
He then turned to Jeremy and said, “And you?” A look was sent in his brother’s direction. How is the new employee training coming along?”
Jeremy’s expression was expressionless; he does nothing except train the pack’s minors. That’s very humbling.
“Good progress is being made, Your Majesty. “The response hung heavilly on the tip of his tongue as he spoke.
Spenser was given a lunch by the servants, and just by looking at it, he could know it was exquisite. But when he put even a little amount of It in his mouth, he had his usual symptoms, which rendered the food tasteless. He almost threw up but managed to swallow it.
“Are you feeling okay?” Since she was standing close to him, Queen Jade put her hand on his shoulder and inquired.
Spenser didn’t say a word as he grabbed for a glass of water and guzzled it down. She was very confused, and Ella could not figure it out. Something clearly wasn’t right with the King.
King Spenser got to his feet once he had a good glass of water.
He whispered, “I’ll be in my quarters,” and began to walk away with his hands crossed.
If you want something else to eat, Spenser, tell the cook. From her throne, Queen Jade questioned him, but he turned and walked away without looking back.
That threw Ella off. It seems the King had some trouble chowing down. And why is that, exactly?
The Queen’s words sprung into her brain at once: “You know how his appetite is; it’s conceivable he doesn’t want to eat now,” the King said, “Yes… I simply decided to give it a try.”
Did King have digestive problems? Still, what could it be?
As soon as the queen came to her room, she saw that her infant son was sound asleep on the bed. Hmph.
“Maria!” When she gave the signal, the housekeeper hurried in.
“My Queen!”
“Go bring me some bananas,” he said. in addition to strawberry shortcake. As Natasha had asked for.
“As you desire,” Maria bowed and departed.
Without anybody else there to share the moment, Natasha went up to her sleeping daughter and gazed lovingly into her eyes. Though she despised the fact that it was a girl, the maternal instincts she had for it remained.
