“You were fortunate that you acted before I did” Viscar rumbled and beckoned the other guards around the house’s perimeter. He was able to do this by connecting their minds.
“Grab her suitcases and go!” In a flash, he and the security at his side had Ella’s belongings taken away. He turned his attention back to her. Just follow me now.
“Please….” A tremor ran through Ella’s voice as she spoke something quickly. Could I please speak with my dad? She wiped her teary eyes away from him and stared at the ground.
“Ella. “Now, come with me,” Viscar replied, turning to go, but Ella yelled after him.
She pleaded with a cry, “Please.” This chance of a lifetime may never come my way again. This time, just this once, please.
This ailment of Viscar’s might make him stern and uncompromising. However, you can count on his mercy when the time is right.
After saying this, he walked away from the table and toward his mount.
Mr. Eva, who had been kneeling the whole time and listening in, got to his feet when he noticed Ella coming toward him. They departed on foot for a while.
He pleaded with his father, “Why are you doing this to me, father?” Her question was hushed. The question, “Why have you decided to punish me in this way?” ‘What are you talking about, Ella? I’m only trying to protect the kids. His stride was husky. I would have saved us all by not saying what I did.
“So, you’ll prefer putting me to the hands of a beast, when my survival isn’t certain?” To spare you and your loved ones?
“Why didn’t you make someone else responsible? A better question would be why you didn’t choose Lisa, Rebecca, or Snow. What about Aven? Exactly why must it be me? You made me go out there, and now I’m the one who has to pay for it. Father, how could you treat me this way? Why are you treating me like this? ”
“Listen up, Ella,” Mr. Eva shook his head. The act is over; your lamenting now will not change the outcome. Therefore, I suggest you comply with the guards and accept your destiny. Don’t fear; your ultimate sacrifice will not go unnoticed. ”
“Ella!” She swallowed whatever it was she meant to say as Viscar yelled from his horse. A fresh round of tears ran down her cheeks as she whispered, “You’ve injured me, father,” in a piercingly sad tone. And this is something I’ll never forget.
She turned and walked away, heading for the waiting guards and her certain doom.
Queen Olivia was putting on making up.
Her maid Leena came racing through the door, her face ashen as if she had seen a ghost.
“My Queen….” The question was posed, “What’s the matter, Leena?” Olivia questioned with a brow wrinkled.
“There’s… there’s… something brand new. What I’m trying to say is that I, uh, recently learned something. “She fumbled for her words and leaned forward to whisper, “The King is bringing in a new bride,”
“That’s nonsense, what are you talking about. Leena? ” Her voice was angry and her eyes were blazing.
And in horror, Leena ducked her head. “Your Majesty. In case you didn’t know, I would never share false information with you. An officer who rode with the King to the lady’s home told me this, and I believe him. He claims she defied the King’s lockdown order yesterday. And as a further kind of punishment, the King took her as his fourth wife so that she would never again have the company of a man. ”
Olivia’s heart was pounding so hard in her chest that it seemed like it may explode, and her eyes were bulging with excitement.
“No!!!” She let out a sharp shout. “No! No! This is ridiculous!
She huffed and brushed by Leena on the way to the door.
Leena followed her out of the room.
She was curious as to whether or not the alleged spouse had arrived.
She sighed and continued, “I don’t want to believe this, Leena.”
“Holy crap!” I really do wish this was the first time you’d been given inaccurate information.
Leena followed closely after, hoping the awful news wouldn’t result in any repercussions.
At this point, Olivia’s wrath was at a boiling point. “What’s this? Never!! There was still the matter of Natasha and the third Queen to resolve. This is the latest one?! There’s a new competitor in town. ”
“Has the King come back yet? “A little tilt of her head was followed by a question.
“Yes, My Queen. “He came back not too long ago,” Leena bowed.
“I have to get in touch with him!” After a short shriek from Olivia, she turned and left.
Sucy was seen making her way down the corridor while carrying a stack of books.
She was wearing her signature red dress, but unlike previous outings, her sweatshirt was not pulled up over her head. As a result, her long hair was now casually cascading down her spine.
The hall was orderly and somewhat long, with spotlights out to each side.
It’s time to call on “Sister Sucy!” She turned around quickly after hearing one of her sisters racing towards her, having heard her name called from behind.
She was carrying a basket.
When Sucy arrived, she shouted out, “Sister Laura.” “Are you having trouble?”
“Naturally not,” the sister smiled. “Someone brought this to me; the sender expressed thanks for yesterday’s healing and wanted to express it in writing. That sick lady must be the one you set out to help. ”
When she dropped the basket, Sucy picked it up, her surprise clearly visible on her face. There were many fruits in the basket, as well as a note.
“I appreciate it. ” A grin spread over her face as she turned around to return back to her room.
After quickly setting the basket down on the floor, she hurried to the bed and took out the letter.
Laura’s comments, “Must be the lady you went out to heal,” kept playing through her mind.
Yesterday, she didn’t treat any female patients at all. Unless….
She tore open the envelope and read the contents with glee in her eyes:
(*Dear Sucy; I’m sending this letter with the expectation that it will reach you.
*I feel terrible about my lack of appreciation from the day before, therefore I’m writing to express my regret. Please know how much I regret being so angry and how much I value your time and efforts. Dearest witch, I really hope you’ll forgive me. And I really wish for a happy ending to this letter*.
