What the heck! Viscar! There was no question in her mind that it was him. What a funny guy, apologizing to her. An unexpected knock at the door was followed by the soft gasp of Sucy as she turned to see one of the sisters standing there.
While she was taking a deep breath, she had to shut her eyes for a split second.
“Did I scare you?” The sister at the threshold questioned with a sour expression on her face.
“I wouldn’t go so far as to say it frightened anybody, but at least you could have saved me the trouble by knocking first. “As she zipped up the letter, Sucy answered.
“Oh, I’m sorry to bother you. I simply didn’t expect to run across you being bad. What do you mean, “Is it a letter?” As soon as she finished folding the letter, she closed her eyes, and Sucy got to her feet. “Could you need a little help?” With a serious expression on her face, she questioned.
“Sucy,” Roselin inquired, her white, beautiful eyes sparkling with annoyance. In any case, the Supreme Sister has instructed me to contact you. She said, “She’s calling everyone down the hall,” and then she was gone, causing Sucy to finally let out the air she’d been holding. She would most definitely be killed if word got out that she had received such a letter.
“The supreme sister’s beckoning everyone down the hall,” were playing through her thoughts as she headed down the corridor.
Sucy didn’t understand why this strong witch in the coven was picking on her. Though she was well-known for her hatred, Sucy saw that it was particularly intense towards her. This made Sucy question whether it was because Sucy was the closest person to the Queen.
When she entered the hall and saw all of the sisters waiting for her, she was startled out of her reverie. There were so many people in the hall that she had to sneak her way to the front so she could stand next to the Queen and the other high-ranking sisters.
Darcy, the Supreme Sister, was sitting on her throne as usual, waiting for the other sisters to settle in.
Sister Darcy began after obtaining the required level of stillness and attentiveness.
“Rules established by our ancestors now at peace with the spirits have served as our compass and shield for many generations. The punishment for every infidel who disobeys this law is, as we all know, death.
A firm policy of ours is to avoid anything even remotely connected to werewolves or vampires. Next, she elaborated on what had been said.”
Sucy’s heart jumped, and her head began to spin.
After a little pause, Sister Darcy picked up her story from the day before. The King had locked down his mountain, and everyone was curious about why. In addition, I was informed earlier today by a reliable source as to why the King issued his decrees.
“King Spenser is cursed, and he used a ritual to try to lift the spell on himself yesterday. Unfortunately, it was a failure. However, the intriguing thing is that this religious technique makes use of certain antiquated objects and unique incantations from a witch. Now. There is no witch accompanying the King. Thus, one of us here must have assisted the King.”
Her gaze slowly raised to The Supreme Sister, who continued to stare ahead. Is she able to identify the person?
“If you know you’re accountable for it, walk out now,” Darcy said, her eyes turning black. And Sucy felt a catch in her breath. So she still doesn’t know?
Darcy replied, “I’ll say it again, just in case.”
“Leave the room if you caused the problem. NOW!!” But no one moved, not even Sucy, who looked terrified. Oh! As much as she tried to avoid it, she had to.
Yes, but Viscar! Viscar tricked her into it!
Oh no; if she’s discovered, she’s doomed to die. No one is safe from the Supreme Sister’s wrath.
Darcy rose from her chair after a brief pause, heightening the tension in the room. So that you wouldn’t forget, she said. “I am Darcy, the last surviving offspring of Queen Amelia, the last Supreme Monarch.
One of history’s most formidable witches, Queen Amelia met an untimely end at the hands of her adversary. She handed control over to me, Darcy. I pledged an oath to never allow this coven to succeed the day I was proclaimed queen. So, put your faith in me when I say I’ll do anything, because I will,” she said as she walked among them and looked them in the eye. There was something quite threatening about her expression.
“Anyone who defied the rules by aiding King Spenser, I, Darcy, WILL SEEK OUT AND CAPTURE. Then, I assure you, you will die a decent death. Am I being understood?”
In a cold tone, she said, “Sister Sucy, come with me,” and she walked away, leaving Sucy feeling much more uneasy than she already was. Should I go with her?
Olivia said furiously, “I need to see the King,” as she was blocked from entering the King’s Chambers.
The guards bowed and allowed her in since they hadn’t heard from the King that he wanted privacy. Moreover, her rage grew when she entered the opulent royal quarters.
After a long day, King Spenser was standing in front of his wardrobe, removing his heavy garments, when Queen Olivia unexpectedly entered.
Olivia, despite her wrath, made no attempt to inform on the King. Naturally, that’s a capital offense.
She halted in her tracks and bowed before the king, saying, “Greetings, My King.” It had a really unhealthy blush on her cheeks. Spenser yelled out, “Olivia,” and turned back to his closet. “Are you having trouble?”
Olivia cleared her throat and said, “Yes, My King.”
“I just got the bad news that you’re marrying again. Furthermore, she is now in route to the royal residence. Even if my information is accurate, I really hope it isn’t. I implore you, Your Majesty the King. Don’t make me believe it’s occurring. ”
A sigh escaped King Spenser’s lips.
?”And where did you hear that, Olivia For the simple reason that I don’t think anybody should know about this just yet. Except… if one of my guards can’t keep his mouth quiet. ?”
Olivia’s heart jumped since she had completely forgotten about it. Not at all; problems for Leena or the guard was the last thing she wanted.
“I… To be honest, My K., I don’t believe my source matters ?”
