“Did you know?” The King of Spenser smiled unexpectedly, never taking his gaze off of her. “I won’t murder you because I have a better plan: I’ll make sure you never have to experience the pleasure of friendship again. You, Ella, will be my fourth wife for defying me. ”
“Viscar!” The moment he called, his gamma came racing up to him.
“My King! ”
Ella remained on her knees, trembling with terror, and King Spenser hesitated slightly, peering down at her.
“Wait in this room until the disobedient one has finished packing her belongings and you may take her to the palace. Don’t waste time. ”
With a bow, Viscar replied, “As you desire, my King,” and then Spenser turned and left.
Ella was suffocating.
“No…! I beg you….” With a whimper, Ella cried out.
That’s why I said, I didn’t want to do it….”
Alas, it was too late.
While the rest of the guards prepared to join the King, Viscar chose which ones would remain with him.
“On your feet. Now!!” Ella was still crying as Viscar shouted at her, but she leapt to her feet in fright.
‘There’s only one thing that will keep me from using my claws on you,’ he told her directly.
Proceed inside and begin putting your belongings in boxes. I’ll come in there and slit your neck if you don’t come out when I say. Get going!! ”
Ella retreated inside the home in terror.
Queen Jade could be seen having a manicure from her maid in a magnificent, spacious chamber, one of the apartments in the Mighty castle of King Spenser. She sat on the bed, eyes closed, lips spread in a tiny grin.
“Hmmm…” She closed her eyes and hummed, “Feels so nice. ”
Manicures have always given her a tingling sensation that she has come to like.
She sparkled like a queen with priceless jewels around her neck, wrists, and fingertips.
Queen Jade was the late king’s second wife and King Spenser’s biological mother.
It’s possible that nobody remembered her now that both the Late King and the rival wife have died and the time of her reign has gone. The talk of the mountain now centers solely on Spenser and his wives.
During her era, though, she was treated more like a deity.
“Oh, My Queen! “When the attendant in front of her inquired, Queen Jade looked up to meet her gaze.
“Yes… I suspect so.” Laughing, she said it.
Right then, her son Jeremy burst in, eyes narrowed with anger. The monarch was taken aback since she knew it wouldn’t be a good sign for her kid to see him acting like way.
The maid dropped her head and said, “Greetings, My Prince,” but Jeremy didn’t look at her as he stood before his mother, staring blankly ahead of him. He had clenched his fists.
The servant promptly obeyed the Queen’s command and exited the royal chambers. The room cleared out until only the mother and son remained.
She called out, “Jeremy,” in a calm voice but a disturbed expression. T “What’s the issue?”
Always any kind of difficulty, he scolded his mother. “Since Spenser became King, things have never been smooth sailing. There are moments when I wonder whether anybody even notices me here at the Palace. Despite the fact that I am his beta-the second-highest position in the pack-he treats me like an Omega.
The chances of Spenser seeing me on a given day are quite low. He always gives his gamma the jobs that are intended for me. “Mother, Viscar is more well-known and respected than I am. The only reason anybody in the community would have recognized me is because I’m your son. No one would need me if I didn’t try! ”
After his roar, there was a long pause as his mother sighed and lowered her head. It allowed him to let out a deep sigh of frustration. He literally couldn’t take a deep breath for all of it.
The Queen sighed and called Jeremy. “Please, come and have a seat here. “She made a tapping motion on the bed and Jeremy groggily sat down next to her. Next, she drew him in so that his head could rest on her shoulder in comfort.
“Son, I know exactly how you feel,” she said. “You know you don’t like it, and I know it. Still, I believe you may benefit from worrying less. Have you forgotten that we have a better tomorrow? “Her lips curved into a grin.
“I know, Mother. However, I still find myself feeling resentful about the situation. And I’m afraid that by the time it happens, I’ll have killed myself out of sheer exasperation. “Says he.
“Oh! Don’t give up, Jeremy. To avoid saying such a thing, When the Queen reprimanded, she did it gently. It’s not going to kill you, all right? just need to be patient. And that’s not the end of the world. Okay?”
With his temper flaring, Jeremy refused to acknowledge the statement. His mom was certain he would take her advice nonetheless.
As she sealed the last bag, Ella stood in the room, her eyes watering. It was too late; she was already dead. In spite of her best efforts, she couldn’t calm her racing heart.
The fourth woman he has wed. Even now, it all seemed surreal to her.
Exactly how did we get here? No way on God’s earth was she going to make it under the King’s rule. What about the royals who live there? So many tales have been told to her. What in the world was she going to do to keep herself alive in this situation?
“Ella!?!” When she heard her name called from the hallway, she knew it was time to go. She didn’t want to compound her problems by making things worse.
She gathered her two suitcases and hurried out of the room, wiping her tears with the sleeve of one of her bags. When she emerged, the guard was clearly irritated.
