Linford gave her a reassuring look, “It’s okay. I got this. You guys should go. Alfred, you stay.”
Cristelle could only leave with Drew and Fritzi, waiting in the guest room.
Cristelle didn’t know what Linford would say, but she was a bit worried. Cody was in her arms, rubbing her cheek with his little cheek, “Mommy, it will be fine.”
Cristelle hummed a yes, losing in her thoughts as she held her twins.

“Who sent you to my place?” Linford demanded, eyes sharp and cold. Cyrus didn’t want to look weak before this man, but his forehead was covered by a fine film of sweat under Linford’s gaze.
“This… This is our family business! It has nothing to do with you!”
“Really?” Linford huffed, “But you put on a show before my property. How could you say it has nothing to do with me? Cristelle’s mom gave you 3 million, but you’re still unsatisfied. And you just let your family harass Cristelle, trying to take away her money. Do you mean to destroy her?”
Cyrus stuttered as he heard what Linford said, “3 million? Wh-what 3 million? I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
Linford took the file from Alfred’s hand and threw it at Cyrus’s feet, “You can take a look yourself. I heard you’re a decent man. I wonder what people would think of you if they learned about this! You have the gall to say you took care of Cristelle.”
Cyrus tried using his sister’s connections to start his political career. But Cristelle’s mom had thought he didn’t have the ability. She had never helped him with his career, but she had given him a lot of money. Before Cristelle’s mom passed away, she had given Cyrus 3 million, telling him that he could have 1. 5 million, but he must use the other half to take care of her daughters.
However, one of her daughters had ended up missing; the other had become a single mom, living a tough life.
Cyrus hadn’t even brought up the 3 million to anyone. Cyrus had let Cristelle stay because of the money.
But now he told everyone that Cristelle was the ungrateful one. This was absolutely disgusting to Linford.
“How… How did you know?” Cyrus was trembling.
How did this guy manage to know everything? Cyrus was scared.
At this moment, Cyrus still didn’t have a single idea about how powerful the Bradley House was in this city. He only had his eyes on the money.
“I can sue you for what you did today. However, if you can tell me who sent you to do this, I’ll probably let you go. If you refuse to tell me, I don’t mind sending you to jail so you and your family can finally be together,” Linford said coldly. This guy was still of a bit of use. He didn’t want to discard him too soon.
Cyrus couldn’t hold it back anymore, “Okay then… The Barnett House asked me to do this… They said… if I can put on a show, they will pay me. They will even find a way to set my wife and my daughter free.”
It’s the Barnett!
Alfred sneaked a glance in Linford’s direction. Like what Mr. Bradley thought, that building also belonged to the Barnett. So, those people had been sabotaging Cristelle the whole time.
“Can you still find that guy who sent you to do this?” Linford asked coldly.
Cyrus wiped his forehead as he nodded, “Yes, of course.”
“Good, don’t tell anyone about this. I’ll probably need your testimony,” Linford made up his mind.
Alfred couldn’t help but feel bad for the Barnett. Whenever Mr. Bradley had this look on his face, someone would suffer.
Cyrus nodded, “Sure… Of course, sir. I won’t tell anyone.”
“Don’t you EVER get near Cristelle. Or… You know what will happen to you,” Linford’s gaze was freezing, “Now, piss off.”
Cyrus didn’t even bring his cardboard with him as he left the office, defeated.
He saw Cristelle waiting by the door, but he didn’t say anything as he avoided her gaze, sneaking out of the building.
Cristelle was puzzled.
Before she caught up with Cyrus and asked, Alfred suddenly called, “Cristelle, do you mind coming over? Mr. Bradley has something to say to you.”
Cristelle thought for a while and got into the office, leaving the babies to Drew.
“Mr. Bradley, what did my uncle say to you?”
Linford arched an eyebrow, “Well, he said he was doing this because Diego Barnett paid him.”
Cristelle went frozen.
“You’re surprised?” Linford asked.
“Yeah…” Cristelle stuttered, “I didn’t expect them to….”
“What are you gonna do? They did those things to harm the ones you care about. They even tried a bit hard to push you.” Linford said calmly.
Cristelle thought for a second and released a bitter smile, “I wish I could make them pay. But this is the Barnett House we’re talking about. I don’t have the power to fight against them.”
She was telling the truth. She didn’t have the power to fight back. Besides, now the Barnett and the Lim were gonna join their powers. She could never touch them.
“The Barnett sent their people to disturb me. They harmed both the image and the stock of our company. I won’t let them get away with it,” Linford said coldly.
Cristelle’s eyes lit up when she heard his words, “So… You’re gonna get back at them, Mr. Bradley?”
Staring into the woman’s eyes, Linford nodded slowly, “Of course, they need to pay for what they did.”
Cristelle understood what he meant instantly. If Linford decided to strike out, then his company would definitely get some benefit from doing it.
“Then, I’ll collect the evidence.” Cristelle made up her mind.
Linford had been waiting for this, “I’ll send my best lawyers to deal with the case. You’re an employee of the company. You’re under our protection. And you don’t need to worry. I’ve got your uncle under control.”
Cristelle was still curious, “Mr. Bradley, what did you do to make my uncle spill the facts?”
Linford kept a straight face, saying, “I gave him some money, and he just decided to tell me everything.”
