Subtly Getting Mated Through A Demon’s Offer Of Help

Book:That Lost Wolf Published:2024-5-1

As though preplanned, actually yes, Festus darts back towards his office as he with the three gigantic Betas drag Kellie away from the safe room in hell.
“That’s her.” Cole exhales, hiding under a roof. “That’s Kellie Leo.”
George peeps on her, and sobs, “My bad. Look at how rough my mate is.”
Then, they creep out of their hiding place and attack them immediately. As they planned, demon Cole shifts back to Kelvin and defeats the demon following Festus while George uses his wizard power and defeats the wizard – Kellie looks at him using his wizard power and she shuts her eyes again.
Before Festus could shift into his newbie Wolf, George changes to his wolf form and defeats him easily but luckily for Festus and unluckily for George and Cole, the White wolf escapes with Kellie and soon becomes out of earshot.
“Oh, dang.” George cusses. “Shit! Holy crap!”
“Let’s return to our room.” Kelvin says, and changes back into Cole. They get to their room after few seconds through their Wolf’s conveyance.
“This is bad!” Cole exclaims, and notices the body of Clarissa not in the trash can anymore.
“Maybe she escaped. Screw that.” George says. “Let’s have another plan…. um… Maybe we would attend his coronation.”
“Sure, we would. Make sure you cooperate and act sensibly.” Cole says. “You know we don’t have a white wolf.”
George nods, and drifts off on Cole’s bed till the day breaks.
DAWN APPROACHES.
“Hi, it’s Clarissa. I’m sorry for my wrongdoings.” Clarissa stands by the doorstep as usual and waves at Cole.
“I should be sorry instead.” Cole says, and pleads with her.
“Make sure you both come to class today, and attend Festus’ coronation service.”
“Sure, alright.” George wakes up, and rubs his eyes. “Thank you.”
“Guy!” Cole exclaims, and they start to prepare. They dress in an attractive attire as they both dart towards the field where the coronation would take place. Luckily, no names are written on top of the alter.
“George.” Cole calls him to a corner. “You’ll go in there. Security Wolves are there but don’t fret. Enter into Festus’ preparation room, and grab his cloth. Make sure you tie him down before coming out again. Take Kellie along with you and mark her once and for all.”
“Thanks, Cole.”
Then, the preparations start, and the coronation commences.
“Without wasting much time, we are going to be seated here while we mark these two wolves together. We would pass the mates to a spirit test and he who fails will be banished from all packs.” The man instructs.
Cole and George then have a rethink. What if they let Festus act as the mate so he can be banned since he’s not the right mate? If he gets banned, he would stop following Kellie around. But no, they discard that thought – what if he gets banned, do they think Kellie would be offered to just anyone or do they think more Wolves won’t want to be Kellie’s mate?
“Action.” Cole says, and George creeps inside the hallway while a wolf announces using the mic to keep people light hearted.
George walks with a motive, noticeable in his moves, then he shrieks, shuddering but maintaining his stance almost immediately. It’s one of the security wolves.
“I’m for Festus.” George tells the security wolf. The security wolf smells him, and perceives a similar smell so he lets him in. George sees Festus wearing different sets of cloth as Kellie remains dressed too. Kellie slightly yells as she sees her mate coming in but George signals to her to be quiet.
Unexpectedly, he jerks the coat, attires and the sleeves off of his body as he throttles his neck, choking Festus who is lying flatly on the ground and coughing.
George drags Festus on the ground, and then into one of the containers in the room where they are. He sends him inside, and wears all what is necessary to wear.
He holds Kellie’s hands into his, and walks up to the podium. The audience gives a great amount of cheering.
“Your name, ma? Your name, sir?” The man places the mic almost on their lips
“George Nathaniel.”
“Kellie Leo.”
Cole winks at George from behind while George gesticulates to him to keep a record with his phone.
“George Nathaniel, are you ready to take Kellie Leo as your mate?” The man asks and muffled breaths are heard but ignored.
“Yes, sure.” Nathaniel George nods.
“Kellie Leo, are you ready to take George Nathaniel as your mate?”
She nods multiple times and the crowd cheer.
“You said to test them.” The crowd protests. “You didn’t.”
“Well, not here. But inside. We did.” He explains.
“George?” The man calls George who is cuddling against Kellie. “Mark her.”
And then, Festus hits the entrance door with all his might, and he wails.
George slowly gives his wolf the control of his body but only his tongue becomes sharper – then he cuddles up against Kellie and from her chest up to her neck, he draws the big mark. The congregation cheer and George beams with smiles.
“Now that you have marked your mate, let’s have your covenant blood in the rite can.” The man says and pulls out the rite can.
“Here.” He says, and gives a dagger to George. Cole perceives that Festus is about to let his Wolf loose and barge out so he walks up to the original office in his Kelvin form. You know, no one sees Kelvin since he’s a demon ghost. He gets to the entrance of the door, and poof, he enters without opening any door. Then, from Festus’ legs, he drags him inside the Golden room and there, he punches him very well. He makes sure the security wolves don’t see Festus as he’s being dragged, they’d be damn scared. Like seeing someone wailing and crying to be set free when you can’t see anyone holding them down.
“Don’t try it again.” He tells Festus after transforming into Cole. “Kellie isn’t for you.”

George picks up the dagger from the wolf’s palm, and he cuts a part of his palm, then thunder rumbles as he directs the flowing blood inside the rite can. Kellie, on the other hand, picks up the dagger from George and only gives herself a faint slashing, then she moves the blood to the rite can, and lightning finds its way to the altar. Thunder rumbles again, lightning flashes across the altar again, mixing the blood together. As soon as the blood has been mixed in the right proportion, everything becomes cool.
“Thank you all for gracing this event!” The man claps his palms together and all the crowd seated on the field to watch those mates get marked, start to take their leave. “Thank you all!”
Though Kimberly, Charles (and Martin)aren’t available to watch their child get marked, George prefers it to waiting for them and Kellie ending up being another wolf’s mate. Kelvin or Cole has been such a friend to George, he’s the one that shared the habit of spitting on one’s forehead with him.
Cole comes out quickly of the Golden room but three security wolves stop him. He runs straight to the main door where he only needs to come out and see both George and Kellie but the security wolves hold him down.
“Leave me alone.” He muffles under his breath. “Just leave me alone.”
“Who are you?” They ask. “And which of the rooms did you go to?”
Thank goodness they don’t know that he went to the golden room to keep Festus locked, he’d have been tied and both George and Kellie would be tied too till all investigations are made.
George takes his lips to Kellie’s and as he starts kissing her with all his might, the crowd cheer, and pack all their belongings, each returning to either their classroom in school, pack house in the wilderness, and few from hell. The wolf that acted like the MC drools and unintentionally spits on George’s forehead. George returns back into his senses when he feels that on his forehead. Cole. Let’s move. He glances at the field and can’t see anyone, he’s ready been immersed in his love kissing life, then he hears some muffles beside the main door. The MC wolf walks away, heading towards his office at some distance away.
“Kellie, I’m more than happy!” George slightly yells, his feet getting up and down with control and light thud. “The next step is to escape, yes?”
“Yes, George.” Kellie talks but her voice only results into whispers. “Let me get to see Dad and mom.” Then, she smiles and hugs George tightly.
A shriek like a volcanic eruption emanates from inside, the golden room in particular. George becomes fully aware it’s Festus.
Then, with a leg kick, he jerks the door open and sees the security wolves dragging Cole.
“No, leave him!” George barks at them. “He’s my friend!”
“Your friend?” One of the security wolves asks. “How?”
“Release him to me!!” George yells in a much deeper tone, and jerks Cole off of the security wolves with his two hands, second reason being that Festus has jerked out of the room in his wolf form and he’s heading towards them with weird and eerie grunts.
Then, George takes his hands into Kellie’s and Cole runs behind them with all his energy. They run towards their room but swerves and heads towards an unknown waterfall where luckily no mates are having a love meeting. They settle there, as George lets Kellie lay down. She breathes out, and George calms her down by rubbing her chest all the way from her neck.
“She’s tired. She’s marked now, she should be resting.” Cole says, and breathes out again, still gasping for air. “What do you think?”
