“Kellie…” George cries with his voice breaking. “Please help me with Kellie.”
Alpha Festus scribbles shit on a rough paper, pretending not to have heard him. After so much persuasion from Cole, Alpha Festus hits his table with one clenched fist.
“Do you know this is not why I called you?” Festus tells George in particular, and sighs. “Please, let’s focus on why I called you.”
“Alpha, I beg of you.” George kneels beside him. “Help me get Kellie.”
“Now, shut up!!!” Alpha Festus shouts and growls. “Your seat!!” His neck starts to grow hairy indicating the release of his wolf.
“I don’t know you can ask Kellie from me.” He chuckles and clicks his tongue.
“Hi sir. I’m from the demon pack.” Cole says.
“So what?” Festus retorts, coupled with sharp gazes.
“Reply me fast or you burn in hell.” Cole splutters, his face not seeming friendly at all.
“Hell? Hell fire?” Alpha Festus chuckles. “This is not new to me. This idiot..” he points at George. “… didn’t want me to touch Kellie in any way even after ordering elves and vampires to save her. I had to pay $50, 000 yet I couldn’t see the results of what I paid for.”
Cole peers into his face as he speaks. He detects something in his mind, George notices but reserves his remarks.
“So, why do you need my help now?” Festus sniggers. “This is not the Festus you once knew.”
“Tell me more.” George changes his countenance after Cole mind links him and tells him he has a plan. “Are you now a Wizard or you’re a demon?”
“Well…” Festus stops what he’s doing. “I’m both.”
Cole sighs, and George clicks his tongue.
“Any problem?” Festus asks, raising his brows.
“Any problems too? Why did you summon me?” George retorts.
“I’m capable of banning you from this school, I’ll send you to hell through a demon.” Festus says. “There’s a safe house inside the hell where some lucky wolves are being kept.”
“By the way, have you gotten your mate?” Cole asks, questioningly.
“Yeah sure, but she’s right there in the safe house in hell.”
“How come you became a hostel master?” George snickers.
“Well, I have the white wolf, wizard, werewolf and demon power within me.” He explicates, and smiles widely. “So I was appointed so the children would be safe since this hostel is vulnerable to attacks from rogues and whatnot.
“Okay, we gotta go. Ain’t?” Cole clears his throat, and walks out of the office while George follows him behind.
Festus raises up his brows, and sees them get out.
“Or may I see you off?” He yells before they move out of earshot.
“Yes, your highness.” Cole replies with a shriek, not minding that George is pinching and nudging him not to say a word. Alpha Festus shuts his door tightly and catches up with the two of them.
They take a walk around the garden, across the waterfall and around the fields in the hostel.
“I hope you like them.” Festus says, and points to the third field. “That’s where I’m using for my coronation tomorrow.”
“Oh, you have gotten your mate for real?” George scoffs.
“I’m not joking. Will you attend?” Festus asks.
“What about me and Kellie? We should be mated tomorrow as well but I can’t find her.” George splutters, and Cole walks out on them and walks straight into his room.
Festus doesn’t say a word. Instead, he turns his back to George and heads straight into his office.
“Hey, George. Come over here, idiot.” Cole beckons to him through the window glass. “Be real quick.”
George hastens his footsteps and soon jerks the door open. He enters with full force, and slumps on Cole’s bed. Cole brings out a gun, as he points it at George’s forehead.
“Why do you want to shoot me?” George says, inwardly chuckling. “Oh! Is this why you made me enter more quickly than I proposed.”
Cole tucks the gun back into his pocket and he spits on George’s forehead instead. George retaliates and spits on his forehead too; they keep on doing this till an alarm ring blares the whole room. George feels the sharp pain of a sharp object passing through his insides.
“Aah…” He places his hands on his navel. “… it hurts.”
“Sorry, George.” Cole advises. “It’d been fine.” Then Clarissa appears at the doorknob.
“Hey!” She shouts at Cole. “What did you do to him?”
Cole doesn’t respond. Instead, he leaves George on the bed and walks up to Clarissa shouting at the doorstep. As he slightly tilts the door open, Clarissa tucks herself in and shuts the door behind her. She scoots over to George who is wincing in pain. She tucks one of her blossoms in his mouth after scooping it out.
“Stop this nonsense!” Cole yells, still at the doorstep, now leaning his back on the door. “Arrant nonsense!”
Clarissa doesn’t say a word. Instead, she starts to unbuckle his belt and she scoops out her two blossoms and moans as she feels his lips sucking ’em.
Clarissa draws out the belt and as she’s about to drag down his trouser, Cole brings out the gun in his pocket to his hand, and turns on the soundproof. Then, with a nice target, he shoots Clarissa at the back of her neck.
“Whreck…” Clarissa oozes out blood and the blood soon spreads and becomes sprawled on the ground. Her wolf seems slow in returning her health. Nevertheless, Cole dumps her in a trash can and covers her up.
George springs up from bed, and spits on Cole’s forehead.
“Why would you do that?” He yells, attempting to spit more on his forehead. “Why would you kill her?”
“I didn’t! But, are you interested in what she has in her body or Kellie’s?” He yells back.
“Kellie’s.” His voice comes down, and he sits back on the bed. “What did you notice during our chitchat with Festus?”
“Well, after you answer my question. Why did you have such sudden heart attack or stomach’s?”
“Yeah, stomach’s. That’s if my wolf smells one of his relatives.” He says. “If such relative is very near.”
“Good. Hold onto that point.” He says, and starts to speak, “It’s clear that Alpha Festus doesn’t want to tell you about Kellie’s whereabouts, yes?”
George nods.
“He said his mate is right in the safe room in hell pack.” Cole adds. “He said he would be having a coronation service tomorrow.”
“Yeah.” George nods. “All correct.”
“He’s talking about Kellie.” Cole concludes, making George’s heart throb.
“What?! Getting mated to my own mate?” He seems confused but just in, Kimberly’s mind link comes inside his.
“George.” Kimberly says. “I’m getting back to you on behalf of Charles.”
“Okay? Sure, ma.” George responds quickly.
“Moon goddess appeared to both of us this morning.”
“Oh wow!” George exclaims in his mind link. “Such a good news!”
“No.” Kimberly says. “She didn’t give us her location. She just told us about her release. It is left to us to search for her.”
“It’s a good news though.”
“It’s not. One of the reasons why Charles wasn’t thrilled to inform you.”
“Um… well, I’ll try my best and get back to you. Have a nice night and thanks for the update!”
“You’re welcome. You too. Stay safe.” And the mind links disconnect.
“Hey folk, why did it take you so long?” Cole complains.
“I’m sorry but it’s from my relatives.” George replies. “They alerted me about Kellie.”
“What did they say?” Cole sits up in bed, and folds his arms across his chest.
“That Kellie has been released but they don’t know the area. Moon goddess didn’t tell them.” He splutters.
“Hold on. Kellie has been released?”
“Yeah.”
“Do you know Festus said there is a safe room in the hell?” Cole reminds him.
“Hold on.” George seems to remember now. “Yeah, he said so. You’re right!”
“He’s talking about Kellie, I said it!” Cole praises himself. “I have been smelling rats.”
“This is such a coincidence.”
“Maybe.”
“Maybe not.”
They both chuckle, and high-five. Then, they spit on each other’s forehead.
“Wow, I love this.” George warms himself up. “We are getting there. What’s next?”
“How to tackle him. How to save Kellie.”
“That’s the ultimate goal.”
“Yeah. We gotta have sections of plans, and be quick and smart about it. He’s getting mated tomorrow afternoon, remember?”
“Yes, remember.” George clips, and sighs. He buries his head in a book, and sets his mind to think of a way out.
“His power first.” Cole says, bringing out a Sheet of paper and sketching an object.
“He said he has the wizard, werewolf, white wolf and a demon in him.” George says, helping him in the sketch.
“I’ll go for the Werewolf and Wizard.” George says.
“While I’ll go for the demon.” Cole says.
“Then what about the white wolf?” He asks him, and they both sigh in frustration.
“I’ll mind link my relatives now.”
“Do that.” Cole says. “Now.”
“Look.” Cole points at outside. “Festus is heading to hell.”
Cole and George stare at one another and without planning it earlier, they warm themselves up, and trail behind him, in their human forms. Three scary betas join Festus on his way.
The three are the white wolf, wizard, and demon while Festus himself is the Werewolf.
How do they track the white wolf down? A demon or wizard is tough enough to be handled solely.
