Giselle’s POV;
“WHAT?” I shouted and everyone turned towards me.
Ignoring everyone, I removed my cell phone and called Oliver but his phone was switched off.
“Where did he go?” I asked in a frightening tone.
“Rose, he is going through a heartbreak. Let him be. Once, he will settle. I will ask him to meet you” Mark said in a low voice while holding my hand.
I nodded in reply.
If I say I was fine after hearing that, it would be a big fat lie. Because, I wasn’t. Knowing I was the reason for Oliver’s heartbreak was making me mad but it was better than hating myself for playing with his heart.
I was almost done with the breakfast when I heard the doorbell. I checked the time on my wristwatch and it was exact 10 am.
My foolish a*s then remembered how much time I took to decide which clothes to take with me as I only brought very few dresses because I was planning on sleeping inside my room this whole vacation. Not like I knew I would meet my sizzling hot Werewolf King mate.
Eva and Nova ran towards the door thinking it might be Elijah. Fools!
Mark and I went after them, and my parents and others followed closely.
When we reached there, we saw Eva and Nova standing near the door, eyes and mouth wide open with shock.
‘Is Elijah here? Did he lie to me?’ I thought as I walked past them with Mark but soon I was blown away myself.
“Hello, I am Layla Swan, Elijah’s cousin. You must be Rosaline Blue. We had a conversation yesterday” said the girl standing two steps away from the main door.
Rather than replying, I was standing there.
It would be an understatement if I say that she is the most beautiful girl I have ever seen in my entire life.
I was shocked to hear her elegant voice over the phone but right now that she is standing in front of me, I am speechless.
She had thick wavy auburn hair which looked like it was done by professionals. Her icy blue eyes were so vibrant that it was shining like stars in a dark night. She had the most perfect flawless skin. I desperately want to know which clinic she visits though.
She had slim but hourglass perfect figure. Everything about her was just perfect. She was Perfection just like Elijah.
If I was a guy, I would have fallen for her at first sight.
Elijah’s name brought me back to reality along with Layla’s next few words.
“Ms. Blue? Are you okay?”
“Ohh.. Oh. Yes. I am okay. Please call me Rose” I replied while closing my eyes in embarrassment.
“Okay. You must also call me Layla. We are not strangers anymore. You are gorgeous. They should have done better job at describing you” Layla said with a shy smile.
“Oh, I was about to compliment you about the same. You are so pretty” I added smiling brightly.
“Wait, you guys are going compliment each other and no toxicity?” One of the guy standing behind Layla, asked.
“Who needs toxicity with eternal beauty, right?” Layla replied with a wink and I nodded with a smile.
I like this girl already.
“Right. Layla, please come inside. Let me introduce you to my family. This my brother, Mark Blue and….” One by one I introduced every single one.
Poor Layla! She must be tired until we reached the last. Now that I think of it, my grandparents had a lot of time. Hehe!
‘Unfortunately, I couldn’t introduce her to Oliver, they would make a perfect couple though’ I thought but shook my head soon as Elijah’s sister’s voice rang in my head,
‘Some girl called my brother, sister in law’
‘Why did she say it though?’ I scratched my chin while thinking about all the possible options.
I was dragged out of my train of thoughts when I heard a familiar elegant voice.
“So, Rose, are you ready to leave or do you need more time?” She asked politely.
“Ah, it’s time to leave already” I sighed, clearly talking to myself.
“You can say your goodbyes while I wait here for you. Let me know once you are done” She smiled with understanding.
‘She is an angel! A freaking angel!’ I smiled back.
Mark took me in a bear hug saying “Take care. Call me if something goes wrong. I am always there for you”
“Thank you, bro” I hugged him back.
After parting from him, I walked towards my parents.
They were still not happy with my decision but they respected it.
“Let me know if anyone gives you hard time there. Your mother will tear them apart with her bare hands” My mom said with a warm hug.
“Yeah mom, I know. You are the Alpha female” I nodded.
“Luna” Layla corrected from behind.
We looked at Layla and she added, “Alpha’s wife or Alpha’s daughter hold the position of Luna, the strongest female werewolf, but in your case, you will Luna Queen because you are mate of the Werewolf King Alpha Elijah Smith”
“Oh yeah, she needs to understand the levels and degrees of werewolves in the pack” My mom said with a worried look on her beautiful face.
“Don’t worry, ma’am. I will teach her everything within a week and after her first shift, Future Beta Liam and I will personally train her” She replied with confident smile.
“Then I will leave her on your responsible claws” My mom replied with a chuckle and Layla laughed back.
“Claws?” Mark looked at them confusedly.
“Werewolf joke” Mom replied while parting from me.
As soon as she was done with me, she went towards Layla and bombarded her with numerous questions about people of their pack. I didn’t know she still remember so many of them.
“Be happy always” My dad said while kissing my forehead gently.
“Thanks dad” I replied, a tear fell on my cheek and I wiped it immediately.
Everyone hugged me and said their fake best wishes. It really sounded like ‘Blah blah blah’ to me but I only remembered Eva and Nova’s comment because they were honest with what they wanted.
“Let us know if you find two hot werewolves who look just like Alpha Elijah Smith” Eva said excitedly.
“Are you crazy? He is the werewolf King, there is no possibility” Nova shook her head.
“Oh right. Then as handsome as his Beta?” Eva asked and looked at me for approval.
I felt like I heard a low howl but I couldn’t see who it was.
“I feel like you are still asking too much” I replied.
“Okay then, any hot guy will do. Just make sure there are two” Eva nodded with understanding.
“All right. I will try my best” I lied with a bright smile and my brother chuckled.
After I was done with everyone, I left the house with Layla.
I was beyond taken aback to see a Black Mercedes MayBach in the yard.
I was standing there, staring at it like I was staring at my mate.
“Get in” Layla opened the door for me.
“You are so sweet” I said and hopped inside the car.
The interior was made up of black leather giving it more luxurious feeling.
As the car drove away, I couldn’t keep my curiosity under control.
I turned towards Layla with a big question mark on my face.
She turned towards me, obviously disturbed by my intense staring.
“Do you want to ask something?” She asked confusedly.
I nodded my head like a lost puppy and she chuckled, “Go on”
“Why did Elijah’s sister called you ‘Sister in law’ yesterday?”
