Oliver’s POV;
‘MY MOM KNEW IT THE WHOLE TIME?’ I shouted in anger but all I heard was a terrifying growl shocking even me to my core.
It took me a few hours to change back to my human form, especially without any guidance. When I came back home, I did a lot of research on the herb that keeps werewolves from changing into their wolf form. I even went through my father’s diaries and found everything about wolfsbane and how it is so hazardous for werewolves that it can even kill your wolf slowly if given for years.
It was crystal clear now that my mother knew that I was a werewolf but along with the realization came a dozen of questions in my mind but the simplest and most important was, how?
The curiosity was killing me. Hence, I decided to ask my mother about it.
There is no way she didn’t know and still kept giving me wolfsbane from the moment I turned thirteen.
I confronted my mother and she accepted the truth in resignation. With a deep and regretful sigh she told me that my father was not fit to have kids and hence, they decided to adopt a child from an orphanage. When they adopted me, they didn’t have any idea that I was a werewolf. Someone left me at the hospital and my mother just loved me at first glance and was adamant about adopting me.
She also added that slowly I started showing signs of being a werewolf.
At first, she was going to tell my father about it but then she was really scared that my father would find out and might even kill me.
She said I was never an adopted son to her and she always loved me like her own son and that she was ready to sacrifice everything just to save me. That’s the reason, she started giving me wolfsbane to hide my wolf from coming out.
Firstly, I was hurt and argued with her a lot for hiding the truth for such a long time but then I realized how wrong I was for behaving like that with her.
Honestly, neither my mom nor my dad made me feel like I was adopted.
I asked my mother about Olivia and she told me that they adopted her because my father badly wanted a daughter too.
She started crying her heart out when she thought I wouldn’t love her anymore and leave the house.
She was scared that if the family found out that I am a werewolf, they would come after me. She said she cannot afford to lose me.
For a moment, I was so grateful for her to nearly sacrifice everything to keep me alive. I was blessed to have her in my life.
I reassured her that nothing like that was going to happen and I even promised her that I wouldn’t tell anyone about me being a werewolf.
I took Rosey’s help to find out about my birth parents but we could only get information regarding my adoption but unfortunately, there were no details about my birth parents. I don’t know if they are alive or dead either.
I understood my extraordinary abilities since I was a child. As a kid, I used to think I had superpowers and it turned out to be true as I was a supernatural creature.
After thorough observation, I realized that along with me, someone else also had such extraordinary abilities and it was none other than my Rosey!
That day I knew, Rosey and I were not related, I stopped feeling bad for having a crush on her. Also, I understood, Rosey was not a normal human being either.
I decided at that very moment that I would be there for her when she first changed, she wont have to go through the pain alone like how I did, but never in my wildest dream, I imagined for things to turn out as they did. Now, she has decided to be with her ‘good for nothing mate’ for her first change but I won’t let that happen.
I will make her realize that he is just her childish crush. You cannot fall in love with someone you just met.
It takes years to fall in love so deeply like I have been in love with her for years. Once she is done with her honeymoon phase, she will understand it and I am confident that she will come back to me running.
I took a deep sigh as I looked at my majestic wolf, I drank some cold water from the lake to relax as I promised myself.
‘I will wait for you forever’

Rose’s POV;
Next morning,
I woke up before my alarm. I barely slept last night due to excitement as well as nervousness about leaving my parents and the mean Blue family behind.
But I have made up my mind. I am going to the pack house. I am going to know more about my true self and my lineage. Once I know everything, I will decide for myself.
Deep inside I knew leaving Elijah was not even an option.
I took a warm shower, and took extra time to pamper myself. I shaved and thoroughly cleaned myself. I knew Elijah was not there but I needed to leave a good impression on his family and pack.
I removed a knee-length beige-colored lacey dress from my closet. That’s the only dress I bought. Other than that, I only brought sweat sets, baggy jeans, and oversized tops with two crop tops.
Well, before coming here I didn’t know I was going to meet the love of my life.
I need to shop so badly. I can’t stay in those baggy clothes in HIS house.
I got ready with light natural makeup on. I looked really elegant in such dressing which was a plus point.
I packed my bag with some clothes and daily necessities. I was about to call Mark for help when I heard a knock on my door.
I opened the door and saw my brother looking down at me with a cheeky smile.
“Oh, stop it. You look ugly when you smile like that” I said with an eye roll which only widened his mile even more.
“Ready for the new life, little demon?” Mark asked excitedly like he is the one going on an adventure.
“I am not getting married” I replied while rolling my eyes although the thought of marriage fastened my heartbeat.
“It feels like that to me. And even a prince is coming to pick you up but instead of a horse, he is coming on his own four feet” Proud at his own lame joke, Mark burst into laughter.
I rolled my eyes again. I realized I really couldn’t do this today. I silently went towards my bed.
“Hey..!” Mark said in barely a whisper.
I turned around and surprisingly, Mark hugged me.
“It’s okay to be nervous but don’t forget you have a big brother, who is ready to kill anyone for you” He said patting my head lightly.
I hugged him back. A series of undefined emotions were flowing through me and I couldn’t hold back my tears anymore. Staying away from everyone is one thing but staying away from my brother was too much. I never knew I loved this monkey so much.
“Hey, don’t cry. You will ruin your makeup and Elijah will run back to his pack house alone out of fear” Mark said jokingly and I lightly laughed this time.
“He is not coming to pick me up” I informed him.
“What do you mean?” Mark asked in justified confusion.
“He went for an urgent meeting but he preplanned everything. His cousin, Layla Swan, is coming to pick me up” I replied softly.
“Oh, I see” he nodded his head in reply.
When I didn’t say a word for a while, he added.
“Shall we?”
He held my bag in his one hand and extended his other hand for me to take. I held his hand tightly as we ascended upstairs.
We went to the dining room for breakfast but Oliver was nowhere to be found.
I bent towards Mark and whispered, “Where is Oliver?”
Before Mark could reply Olivia did,
“He hasn’t come back since last night and Mum is really worried”
“WHAT?”
