Chapter 234: Turning the Tables

Book:Fallen Heir Rising Published:2024-6-5

The entire scene fell into dumbfounded silence.
Ollie was dumbstruck.
Charlotte was stunned.
Parker Collins and others were left speechless!
Everyone else wore expressions of shock, disbelief, and complexity… What was going on?
“Zaire…” Ollie Reid was baffled, “What’s going on here?”
“Shut up!” Zaire Wright angrily scolded.
“Get down on your knees!”
Upon hearing this, Ollie Reid’s heart trembled, and he knelt down with a thud.
He buried his head in the ground.
Daring not to look up.
Quentin sneered, “Zaire, you’re quite bold, huh? Leg healed? Dared to show up? I guess you don’t care about your life anymore.”
At this, Zaire Wright trembled all over, quickly explaining, “Mr. Holland, I-I just came here for a meal!”
“This…”
“I didn’t expect to find you here.”
Ollie Reid looked puzzled. Who was this guy that even Zaire feared so much?
“It seems like the lesson I gave you last time wasn’t enough,” Quentin’s tone was icy, “Got a knife?”
His cold gaze sent shivers down Zaire Wright’s spine, but he still gritted his teeth and nodded, “I-I happen to have a small knife…”
He pulled out a small knife.
Trembling, he handed it over.
Quentin’s eyes narrowed, “Cut off two fingers yourself.”
Zaire Wright turned pale.
“What, scared?” Quentin’s gaze suddenly chilled.
“No, I’d like to!”
Zaire Wright nodded repeatedly, gritted his teeth, and with a splatter, two bloody fingers were severed, blood gushing out.
But he dared not make a sound.
Seeing Zaire Wright so terrified of the man in front of him, Ollie Reid’s heart sank. He thought that he was over!
Someone who could make Zaire Wright fear to the point of cutting off his own fingers couldn’t be an ordinary person, right?
In the whole Stresall, there were probably only a few like him!
Quentin waved his hand, “Remember to control your subordinates in the future, with your fingers, get lost-”
“Yes, yes, yes!” Zaire Wright nodded repeatedly, relieved as if granted clemency, picked up his severed fingers, and ran away.
His clothes behind him.
Already soaked through!
The other henchmen also quickly got up, scrambling to flee the scene!
Inside the private room, silence fell once again.
They still hadn’t figured out what the hell just happened?
Ollie Reid was already so impressive that Parker Collins was about to yield to him. His backer behind him must be even more remarkable!
But…
The fact that the other party, upon seeing Quentin, didn’t even dare to breathe and was forced to cut off two fingers?
It shattered their worldviews!
Isn’t this guy just a down-and-out ex-convict?
How could even such a big shot be so awed by him? They couldn’t understand.
“Let’s go.”
This time, Quentin left with Charlotte, who didn’t even look back.
Anna wanted to say something but held back.
Seeing the others shocked and even becoming somewhat admiring, Parker Collins felt extremely uncomfortable. Today was supposed to be his turf, but he was completely outplayed by this guy!
He was not accepting it!
“Hmph!” Parker Collins said sourly, “Just because you know a hoodlum?”
“What’s there to show off about!”
“Still just a jailbird loser? In this world, it’s all about money!”
“Mr. Collins is right.” Rosie Brown and Hugo Slater chimed in with ingratiating smiles.
“A hoodlum? But who was just now cowering in front of these so-called hoodlums?” a girl sneered coldly, “At least Quentin saved us, he’s a real man!”
With that said, she picked up her bag and left.
This remark made Parker Collins and the other men in the room burn with anger!
They wished they could find a hole to hide in.
“Damn it, it’s all because of this bastard.” Parker Collins cursed inwardly, “Isn’t he pretending, saying he came here in a Maybach?”
“I, Parker Collins, will turn the tables today!”
His eyes gleamed, “Let’s go, staying here any longer is pointless.”
Later, if he caught Quentin arriving in a beat-up car, then it would be interesting.
Parker Collins sneered inwardly; he would definitely slap this pretentious guy’s face hard!
He tightened his grip on the Porsche key in his hand.
