“Hahaha-”
Laughter filled the room, as if hearing the world’s biggest joke.
“Alright, I’ll be waiting for you. I’m so scared,” Parker Collins sneered, patting his chest with a frightened expression.
Quentin dialed Eileen’s number and calmly ordered, “Do something for me.”
“I’ll send you the details later.”
“Okay.” Eileen never questioned his orders.
“You’re quite the actor.” The group sneered, their eyes full of mockery.
Charlotte tugged at his clothes and whispered, “That’s enough!”
“If you keep pretending, you’ll blow our cover. Aren’t you embarrassed?”
Quentin just smiled.
He didn’t say a word.
“Let’s go.” Quentin took Charlotte’s hand. He didn’t care about the lives of these people anymore; he didn’t want to deal with them.
“Go?”
“Where to?”
A stern voice sounded, and several figures appeared at the door, blocking their way.
It was Ollie Reid and his companions from earlier!
However, the disheveled Ollie Reid from earlier now stood with arrogance, exuding dominance.
“Get lost!”
Quentin’s gaze turned cold.
These guys still dared to linger?
The others were too scared to speak.
“Kid! You dare to be so arrogant? Today, you won’t escape!”
“That’s what I, Ollie Reid, say!”
“My boss is here. Even if you can fight, you’re just a nobody. When my boss steps in, you’ll beg for mercy on your knees!”
Ollie Reid’s voice was loud and arrogant.
“We’re finished!” Parker Collins’s face turned pale. “Ollie Reid’s boss, in our Stresall, is a tyrant, far beyond our reach.”
“Even the people from the major families dare not offend such a big shot in the underworld!”
Parker Collins’s words terrified the others, leaving them trembling and pale.
“Who dares to fight my little follower?”
“Do you value your life?”
Outside the door.
A proud voice suddenly sounded, followed by leisurely footsteps.
“Zaire!”
“Zaire!”
Ollie Reid and his men immediately lowered their heads like obedient dogs, standing on either side.
“Get the hell out!”
Even before the person arrived, his authoritative voice had already reached them from afar.
“Thud!”
Parker Collins immediately felt weak in the legs. He stood up from his chair, knelt down, and crawled forward, not daring to lift his head…
“Boss, it’s not my fault! I didn’t hit anyone, it was him, this guy…”
“If you’re looking for someone, just go after him. I don’t have the courage to offend you…”
He was on the verge of tears.
Seeing him like this, Anna knew that a formidable figure had arrived this time, so she also knelt down.
Her lips turned pale. “Boss, it was this guy who hit someone. You can arrest him! Don’t involve us innocent ones…”
“Yeah, yeah!”
Rosie Brown and Hugo Slater were also terrified, immediately shifting the blame onto Quentin. “Boss, as long as you don’t punish us, we’ll let you deal with him as you wish!”
Seeing their betrayal, Charlotte felt a chill in her heart. “You… Anna, say something…”
“I think they’re right,” Anna said lightly. “What does your trouble have to do with us?”
Charlotte felt a sudden chill.
This was her longtime friend?
Today, she finally saw the true face of this woman she had been friends with for years!
“Hahaha-”
Ollie Reid laughed wildly, seemingly regaining his composure from earlier. “A bunch of useless people!”
He kicked Parker Collins, who was kneeling in front of him. Parker Collins dared not even let out a fart; his body trembled even more violently…
It was at this moment that a man slowly walked in from outside, appearing in their sight.
“Oh-” Zaire Wright sneered, “It seems you’ve knelt quite neatly?
“I thought you guys had some backbone, turns out you’re all just cowards!”
His gaze suddenly fell to the side. “Huh? There’s still one idiot here…”
But when he saw Quentin, he froze, like a duck caught in the throat, his whole body trembling!
Quentin smiled faintly at him.
In that instant, Zaire Wright’s scalp tingled, his legs weakened, and he almost wet himself…
“Mr. Holland…”
Quentin just smiled, gesturing with his eyes towards the ground.
Zaire Wright fell to his knees with a thud, terrified, screaming in fear.
“Mr. Holland, spare me!”
