In another private room, Zaire Wright sat inside, surrounded by his men who were frantically bandaging his wounds.
“Hiss-”
The intense pain made Zaire Wright gasp for air, his eyes filled with ferocity and rage.
“Damn it! Who did this? Who caused this mess? Get the hell out here!” He roared, kicking chairs around him.
His men trembled in fear, their eyes all looking towards Ollie Reid and the woman.
Ollie Reid’s face turned pale as he knelt down with a thud. “Zaire, this, this…”
“It’s all because of this woman…”
He tried to shift the blame.
“You bastard, isn’t she your woman?” Zaire Wright kicked him in the face. “You caused this mess, and now I have to pay for it? This is so unfair!”
The woman was already in shock.
She followed Ollie Reid because he had a reputation on the streets, being powerful and influential. But now, because of this incident, even Ollie Reid’s boss was furious, and she lost two fingers because of it.
As the main culprit, could she not panic?
Zaire Wright roared, “Break his damn legs for me!”
“And this woman, send her to the pit!”
How could these two idiots provoke that notorious figure and make me lose two fingers? He couldn’t fight Quentin over two fingers. Thus, this rage could only be vented on these two unlucky guys.
Outside, Quentin and Charlotte walked out of the restaurant door.
Charlotte hesitated for a moment and asked, “Quentin, isn’t that Zaire the one who caused trouble at my construction site before? Later on, for some reason, he suddenly became very afraid of me…”
“Is that related to you?”
Quentin nodded. “Yes.”
“What’s your relationship with him?”
Charlotte asked, surprised that Quentin had connections with these thugs.
Quentin hesitated for a second or two and said, “He was in for a while before, got scared by me, so he respects me.”
Hearing this, Charlotte relaxed a bit but also spoke with some displeasure, “Don’t associate with these people in the future, so you don’t ruin yourself, okay?”
“Now that you’re out, focus on working honestly and stay away from these kinds of people.”
“Understood.”
Quentin didn’t dwell too much on this topic with her. “I’ll go get the car out; you wait here.”
Quentin went inside.
Charlotte stood by the roadside, waiting.
A minute or two later, Parker Collins and his group also came out from inside.
Seeing Charlotte standing alone there, Parker Collins smiled faintly, “My car is over there; let’s go slowly.”
Looking in the direction he pointed, everyone saw a Porsche parked ahead.
They couldn’t help but show envy in their eyes.
To be able to afford such a luxury car at a young age, how could they not envy?
“Anna, let’s go.”
The two held hands and, under the amazed gazes of the others, walked towards the Porsche.
Anna whispered, “Did you see Charlotte?”
“I saw her, over there.”
Anna lowered her voice and sneered, “Let’s drive the Porsche over and let her see the difference between us.”
“I know.”
Parker Collins pressed the key, the car door opened, and they got in.
Then, the car started, emitting a low growl of the engine.
The Porsche turned into a dazzling lightning bolt, heading towards Charlotte, and finally, with a swift brake, stopped in front of her.
The car window rolled down slowly.
Anna leaned out, smiling, “Charlotte, get in; what are you waiting for? This is a Porsche! If you don’t sit now, you won’t have many chances like this in the future.”
Charlotte shook her head.
Parker Collins added, “Who are you waiting for? Quentin? That poor guy wouldn’t be thinking of calling a taxi to take you back, would he?”
He chuckled, “Having a Porsche and not sitting in it, taking a taxi?”
Charlotte gave him a look and said, “Our car has arrived.”
Anna and Parker Collins were stunned, turning their heads, “What kind of junk…”
But halfway through their words, they choked!
A majestic black Maybach zoomed out of the parking lot, drifting elegantly, and stopped in front of Charlotte…
