Arien was completely bored sitting and waiting for him. She even lost her appetite for eating.
“Alas! He’s busy!” Arien sighed. She got up and thought of leaving but Dean insisted her to eat. She was not at all in a mood to eat so she just smiled and asked Dean to not report this matter to Devian about her not eating.
She had just walked out of the hotel and got a call from Ashley. “Jane fainted suddenly. I don’t know what I should do. I took her to the Day hospital.”
“I’ll just come there. Wait for me” Arien replied and hung the phone.
“Mrs Lyle, what’s the matter?” Dean saw Arien worried look and asked.
“Assistant Dean, please take me to the Day hospital” Arien said hurriedly.
“Okay” Dean bought the car and they went to the hospital.
She asked about the room Jane was in and rushed over to the room. On her way she felt that she saw a familiar figure. “This must be my illusion!” She thought and continued walking.
In the ward Jane was lying with a pale face and Ashley sat there with a horribly worried look. Just as Arien walked inside Ashley started explaining what happened in the office.
Jane went to the washroom and didn’t return for a long time. Only when Ashley went in to check where she was, did she came to know that she had already fainted.
The doctor came in, “She got hit and has a minor injury on her head which made her faint and there’s nothing to worry.”
Only after hearing those words form the doctor did they took a sigh of relief.
The doctor gave some prescription and then walked away saying they could take the patient home when she regains consciousness.
Just then they saw that Jane is awake. “I’m sorry Ash Arien, I caused so much trouble for you.”
“Silly! You scared us!” Ashley started scolding her. “Now tell us what happened back there in the washroom?”
Even if they had met only a month ago, both of them has already become a good friends.
“The floor was a bit slippery. I walked in and slipped. After that my head hurt and I don’t know after that….” Jane started explaining.
“Okay okay! First, let’s take Jane back home after a good check-up” Arien suggested. “She should have good rest for some time.”
Ashley agreed and even Jane didn’t want to stay there for long. So she also agreed immediately.
“I’ll do the discharge formalities.” Arien smiled at them and walked out.
She did all the procedures and they took back Jane.
Dean was waiting outside for her. Arien along with Jane and Ashley walked over. Arien made a sweet face and spoke to Dean, “Brother Dean, if you’re free enough can we just drop Jane and Ashley as well.”
It was already time to get off work so it was better to get home directly.
Honestly this was a boon for Arien, being the CEO’s wife of the company she was working. She was really becoming exhausted these days even working lesser than before.
Maybe it was Devian’s extra care which made her a bit lazy but anyways Arien liked being taken care of by him. This feeling was something she felt when she had her family but now, it was only Devian who could be called her family.
Her childish act made Dean smile. He felt happy to hear the word ‘brother’ from her. But… “Mrs Lyle, you can just order.” Dean said opening the car door.
Arien smiled and sat inside followed by Jane and Ashley.
After dropping Jane and Ashley off in their respective places after Arien went back home. She cooked and waited again for a long while but Devian didn’t show up instead she received a text message from him saying he was a bit busy with some extra work. He’ll come back tomorrow morning.
Devian even mentioned in the text that as a compensation for him not being able to give her time he would take her somewhere out this weekend.
Arien smiled at the text and replied, ‘Okay Mr Lyle, where are you going to take me to?’
She didn’t get the answer of her question but rather he only replied, ‘It’s a surprise.’
“Since when did he become so secretive?” Arien thought.
After not getting any response from Arien, Devian’s text came again, ‘Have dinner and sleep early.’
‘Okay’ Arien texted back. Then after having her dinner she went to bed.

It was already night. They had dinner and went to bed.
Jane was trying to sleep but her headache was not letting her sleep.
Walter helped her get some sleep giving her a head massage.
After a while when he felt that she has slept completely, he took a piece of paper and wrote something then left it at the bedside table and left.
Just as he had walked outside, Jane opened her eyes and took the paper he kept. It was a for her. He wrote that he have some work so he need to go out for a while.
Jane could sense that something was wrong.
As decided she picked up her phone and called Arien.
“Hello Jane?” Came Arien’s voice. She wasn’t sleeping as well because Devian was not present there.
“Arien, he’s going out again.” Jane said.
“Again?” Arien sat jerking up. “Okay, follow him, I’ll just head to you. Remember don’t come in his eyes.”
Jane agreed and walked out of the house and followed him closely behind.
Luckily, Walter was going the way which also led to the Loveland. Jane called her and told her about it. Arien was also ready to go out.
After knowing that Walter is heading to this direction Arien and Jane decided that once he reached near Arien would join Jane.
“Arien I’m here.” A car stopped and Jane waved her hand and stopped the car.
