“The hospital?” Jane spoke.
“Seems like he’s going there” Arien nodded and saw him walking into the hospital. “Let’s go in.”
“Inside?” Jane was nervous. Maybe she would see something she doesn’t want to but she still muddled up her strength and walked alongside Arien.
They quietly walked inside but Walter was nowhere to be seen. “Arien what now?”
“We’ll find him. Don’t worry” Arien was dedicated to help Jane.
They walked to the corridor and reached to a turn. Suddenly Jane pulled Arien behind the wall.
“Shhhh.” Jane said. “Let’s go back Arien. I don’t want to see any further” Jane said with a sad face.
Arien could guess that she has seen something. And just as she peeped towards the way they were walking, she was infuriated.
This was Jane’s man, Walter Mason. He hugged another girl who was smiling brightly in his arms and he was smiling himself.
“How could he do that!” Arien glared at him and walked over to him even after Jane was pulling her with all her might. Who can stop her now, she wasn’t going to spare this man in front of her.
“Mr Mason!” Arien came towards him calling his name in an unfriendly cold tone.
Walter looked at her and then looked at the figure behind Arien with surprise in his eyes.
“Ah… Arien? Jane you’re also here? But why?” Walter asked in astonishment.
“Why are we here?” Jane spoke “What are you doing here?”
“Miss, it’s not like….” The girl beside Walter spoke up trying to give an explanation but was shut up by Jane’s glare.
“Listen Jane…” Walter tried to calm Jane to explain further.

Roger has been in panic since Robert was rescued but to his surprise they were not making any move.
Roger couldn’t get what was going on in their mind. They might have tried to investigate more about Roger but they weren’t which only made him more confused.
He was just thinking about those things when his assistant came in and reported, “Master we’ve noticed that someone’s trying to investigate about you secretly.”
A smile came on Roger’s face. “It must be the Jenner girl. Let her investigate as we want.”
“Yes” the assistant understood what Roger wanted to say and he walked away.
Roger was still having the devilish grin on his face when he spoke, “You would never be able to find anything about me. I’ll surely have a surprise for you by then.”

“Since your health is becoming worse, you must go back to …” Devian wanted to get away from this woman.
“No, I won’t leave” Susan retorted in a loud voice and then realized that she made a mistake, “I mean Devian, I haven’t met anyone here, how can I just leave?” She spoke gently and reached out her hand to hold his arm.
Devian stepped away leaving her hand hanging in mid air. “Dean, book tomorrows tickets for Miss Hayes. She’ll get her treatment in New York”
“But…” Susan wanted to speak but Devian left.
Susan can just grit her teeth and do as Devian said until old Mr Lyle calls her back.
Since Devian had already known that this was all deliberately planned he was just willing to send Susan back for now until he explains everything to Arien.

Jane was angry with Walter and didn’t even want to listen to his explanation.
After being persuaded by Arien, Jane finally agreed to listen to what Walter has to say now about this.
Arien knew that she shouldn’t act rashly, at least make the couple talk to clear out everything. Maybe it was a misunderstanding.
Walter started speaking, “Jane, I know I should have told you earlier but I was afraid….”
“Afraid? You knew that you should’ve told me about you affairs!” Jane said disgustedly. “That’s so shameless!”
“Jane, let’s just listen to him first. Okay?” Arien patted her shoulder.
“Jane, she’s my sister, Alice Mason. We’re here to look for our mom. Her health is not good.” Walter spoke in a very low and regretful voice. “I didn’t want to mention about my family now….”
“But why?” Jane was at the verge of crying. “Why didn’t you tell me if that was the case?” She questioned.
“You’ve known my condition and helped me… I just didn’t want to mention my family’s conditions as well.” Walter spoke in a depressed tone. “It has been a month we’re dating and I really appreciate that you’ve helped me so much, letting me stay at your house coz you knew I don’t have so much to pay for rent. You even never asked me where I used my salary but…” Walter took a deep breath.
“But… I didn’t want to take anymore help from you, after all I’m a man and I want to protect my woman. But here… I was being protected by my women, it feels so worthless! I just wanted to improve everything then take you to meet my mom. I’ve never thought that we would face such a condition.”
“Brother, who’s she?” After confirming that the situation is not tight anymore, the girl beside him spoke. “Is she the girl you mentioned to mom and me the other day?”
She was pretty and adorable young girl in not more than her early twenties. When she spoke everyone’s gaze fell on her making her a bit uncomfortable and she hid behind Walter.
“Yes she’s Jane, the girl I mentioned to you” Walter nodded. “Jane would you like to meet my mom? She wanted to meet you but I decided to bring you here only when my condition was improved. But now when you already know why not?”
“Sure, and I’ll make you kneel down for doing this to me! You should’ve told me earlier!” Jane said wiping her tears.
“Since everything is fine, I’ll take my leave” Arien thought that it would be better to leave them together.
“Arien I’m sorry, I made such a trouble for you.” Jane regretted for doubting her man and even pulling Arien into this.
“It’s nothing!” Arien replied. “I’ll leave you with him then” Arien waved and turned around and her gaze fell on the man inside the next hospital room.
“Devian?” She whispered.
“Arien, you okay?” Jane and Walter came towards her seeing her stopping abruptly.
“…. Devian?” Arien called in whispers and then looked into the ward again. The lady inside just looked at her directly.
Arien thought that Devian didn’t notice anyone looking at him and she quickly took a step back.
Arien also turned to Jane, “I’m leaving now okay.”
“But director…” Jane thought that something was strange.
“Don’t tell him. Remember we were doing it secretly. If he comes to know I don’t know how he’ll react.” Arien smiled and walked away.
After she left Jane whispered, why is director Lyle here?
“Must be an old friend he had encountered when he came to take Mrs Lyle back home.” Walter said casually and then pulled Jane along.
Entering the ward Jane’s hand was all sweaty. Walter could guess that she was nervous so her just held her hand even tightly, “Don’t be scared, after all she was so excited to meet you when I told her about you.”
“Really?” Jane smiled and then taking a deep breath she calmed herself and pushed open the door followed by Walter.
Just as he has told, his mother was weakly lying on the hospital bed.
“Mom.” Walter called out and the lady looked towards them. “She’s Jane”
“Jane? That girl?” Seeing the lady tried to sit up Jane rushed and helped her. “You’re such a good girl. My son is so lucky to have you” Walter’s mom was more than happy to meet Jane.
