“Gerald has a package for me, which of you wouldn’t mind bringing it?” Kasan questioned, grinning like they’re old times friends who hadn’t seen each other for a decade. He’s been chatting with them for a fucking half a day!
That’s quite an exaggeration but still!
“Package? I will!” One of them offered, a little too enthusiastically might I add, “Is it guns?! Wolfsbane?!”
Their loudness is giving me a headache. I feel like they’d be much more annoying than Ash to be around.
“You just gotta bring it, that’s all. Since that’s settled, we’ll be leaving now. I’ll see you three next time, I have a meeting with Gerald soon.” Kasan shoved his hand into his pocket, and while his eyes didn’t leave their figures, he leaned closer to me and pressed his lips close to my ear, smirking. “I can feel your glare. Be good for once, babe. They’re valuable friends.” His tongue flicked my earlobe and I jolted, hand flying up to cover my ear. I gave him a ‘what the fuck’ glare, and his response to that was a shameless laugh.
“Oh, where are you going? Lets go together!”
What? T-Together?! Read the room!
“Absolutely not. Please go about your business.” I said curtly, gesturing with my hand for them to run along.
Their eyes drifted to me, and once again, they rudely looked me over and muttered to themselves, “Well, she’s quite rude for a little squirrel.”
“Yeah, way shorter than me but I think she’ll kill us with her glare.”
“Totally scarier than father.”
“I like her…a little?”
“Okay fine, we’ll leave. Group hug?!” They bounced closer and before I could even attempt to slip away, they pulled us both into their tight, bone-crushing hold.
Ugh fuck.
“Get off me.”
“Well then…!” They pulled back, smiling. “Goodbye boys! Goodbye, Clara!” Waving, they turned and bounced off across the street then into the store Lucas and Ash entered not too long ago.
Crossing my arms, I glared at their backs straight up until they were out of sight, then shifted to stare at Kasan, scrunching my nose. “How dare you have those bugs clinging to my arms? Where the hell are their manners? Now their stupid scent is all over you and you smell like shit.”
“Your arms?” He laughed. “You wanna finish our walk here? Or do you want to shop? You can run around with the human if you want. I’ll carry you.”
“No, my mood’s already spoilt and stop acting like I’m paralyzed! Still, you can totally carry me back.” I moved closer to him and wrapped my hands around his neck, climbing up onto his hips. With my legs now locked tightly around him, I settled my head on his shoulder, sighing.
I’ll have him shower as soon as we get back.
“We’re finally heading back now, right?” Kenley sluggishly turning on his feet and walked off without even waiting for an answer. The others didn’t hesitate to follow his lead.
He’s prick #2.
“You were supposed to hop on my back. Your breath tickles and this position is bad for my dick.” Kasan complained, his hand gripping my ass cheeks and pulling me further up his torso. “Did your ass get bigger?”
“What the fuck? Shut up and start moving! By the way, that meeting… don’t go.”
“The meeting with their father?” He moved off effortlessly with me in his grasp.
“Yup, don’t go.”
“I need to. It’s business.”
“I said don’t go.”
“And I said, I need to.”
“Are you defying me?”
“Clara…” He stressed my name, his hand smacking my left ass cheek lightly. “I do love your cuteness but no can do.”
“If you go, I’ll hate you for life.”
“That’s not possible.”
I eased off his shoulder, raising a challenging brow, “You wanna bet?”
He laughed, “Alright, I hear you. I won’t go. I’ll let them come to me instead. You can all be friends, yeah?”
“WHAT?!”

It was around an hour after we got back home when I flopped down on the living room sofa next to Lucas, the twins, and a few others. Thankfully, there’s not much guys here that I’m not familiar with. Besides, my wolf hasn’t been coming out lately since I found out about my pregnancy, so they’re not too cautious around me anymore, rather most of them already gave me their congratulations. Which was awkward but whatever.
Anyway, its boring here. Kasan got a call a bit ago and left. Now, I’m stuck here by myself. The silence is killing me!
“Chase, you twins got more chocolate on you?”
He shook his head from where he sat on the arm of the sofa. “But I can go get some from upstairs if you want. Anything for my Luna and my precious future Alpha~” He grinned.
I glared at him, “Nevermind. That’s cringe, dude.”
“I have more.” Lucas grabbed my arm before I could answer and settled his hand atop mine so he could drop two bars in my palm. I looked down at them, conflicted. I’d take it, but that stupid mate of his makes me want to refuse.
“I’d rather not have your stingy mate banging on my door for chocolates, keep them.”
“Its fine. I bought them for you, anyway.”
“I heard that, Lucas!” Ash’s voice drifted in from the kitchen before the sound of her footsteps running across the floor sounded. I shoved one bar into my pocket and quickly pulled the wrapper off the other, stuffing it all in my mouth.
She skidded to a stop in front of us, a bottle water in hand and her face covered with rage. “You leech!”
I grinned, chewing proudly, “Too slow.”
“Lucas, I hate you.”
“Are you a kid? Come here.” He waved her over and despite the clearly half-assed glare she was giving him, she didn’t even try to hesitate before shuffling over to him, happily sitting across his lap. “So chase, you going to that club with the others? Jace, you too. Alpha gave them permission before he left.
Club?!
“We’d rather not.”
“What? Really? Well, I’m not missing that shit!” Some dude sitting opposite to us spoke, grinning. I think his name is Tay? Or something like that.
“When is it?” I asked, “Kasan’s not going?”
“No.” Tay shook his head. “I think he’ll be gone for a bit.”
“Then, can I go?”
All eyes bulged.
“What? I won’t drink, I know that. I just wanna have fun. Music, dance, that feeling? That’s all. Ash, you wanna come too?”
“You want the boss to have their heads?” She rolled her eyes, “If you wanna go, go by yourself. I ain’t coming.”
“What horrors do you think will happen if y’all let me go off on my own? Besides, I’ll tell him myself when he comes back. No one’s getting their heads slashed off, I promise.”
“Uh…” Jace scratched the top of his head, looking to his brother, “I…well, I don’t think the Alpha would like it, but as long as you’re with Lucas and the rest of the guys, it’ll be fine, right?”
“I guess?” Lucas mumbled.
My face brightened. “Really?!”
“Are all of you serious about taking this woman to a club?” Ash looked between them as if they’d lost their minds, “Argh I’m going to my room!” She was up in an instant, stomping off towards the stairs.
“M-Me too!” Tay rushed off behind her, leaving only me and the others in the room.
“They’re pussies.” I remarked bitterly, “Anyway, when are you guys leaving? Should I go change?!”
