Monster

The whole place was silent, so silent that even my ears began to hurt like hell. What’s with the silence? Don’t tell me that he’s suddenly become speechless after chatting away with Gus like there’s no tomorrow back there?
“Well….” Kasan finally mumbled after a veryyy long while, inching his chair closer to mine as he steadily watched my expression distort into a glare.
“You’re looking sexy.” He leaned over and breached into my personal space, running the tiny tip of his nose over my bare neck. His breathe lapped at my skin whilst his nostrils sucked my scent in.
Is this his pathetic way of lightening the mood?
“Thanks for finally noticing.” With bitterness lacing every word, I scowled, pushing my upper body the farthest away from him as I could. “Can we leave? I wanna go. This place and you are annoying.”
“This is our first time out together. We can’t end our date so soon.” He continued to move closer, tickling my skin with his both his constant breathing and the unkempt hair atop his head.
“Is this your idea of a date?” I huffed.
“Sorry.” While still sniffing my neck like a stupid dog, his slender index finger rounded my waist and poked me in the side. I had to bite my lip to prevent myself from squirming.
“Babe?” He poked me again.
“Baaaabe…” He poked me again, this time drawling as he blinked up at me through his thick black lashes, shame flashing in his eyes. “Can you stop glaring at me so hard? You’re giving me chills.”
My cheeks flushed a bit in response and though it annoyed me, I soon found my anger gradually depleting. There was something that pulled at my heart strings every time he repeated the word ‘sorry’ with those puppy dog-ish eyes. No, it wasn’t that I hated hearing him say it… in fact, it was the opposite. I liked it…
Is that… strange? Am I… strange?
Well, no matter. There’s still one thing that keeps bugging me…
“So you brought other girls here before?” I couldn’t resist the urge to ask. “You must’ve been quite wild.” I clutched the hem of my dress between my fingers as displeasure washed over me.
He instantly pulled himself back, an annoying twinkle in his eyes. I knew he was going to say something stupid before he even opened his mouth.
“Are you jealous?” He chirped.
Annnnd… there he goes!
I gaped.
Jealous?
I admit, the thought of him fucking with other women doesn’t seem very appealing, but jealousy is a bit of a stretch… no it’s a very BIG stretch.
Besides, I’m not someone who needs to be jealous. That was all in the past and this is the present. Whatever he did back then has nothing to do with me as long as he doesn’t repeat it now.
So why…. why do I feel so down?
‘Admit it… You’re jealous…!’ My subconsciousness piped in.
I bit the inside of my cheek.
Am I really?
“Did you just ask me if I’m jealous?” I kept my face stoic, despite how much his words troubled me. “When have you ever seen me jealous? I do not feel such things.”
“I don’t need to see it, Clara… I can sense it. There’s no use denying.”
Sense it? What the actual hell?
“But on a serious note, I did frequent this place alot a few weeks ago, but that meant absolutely nothing. I only brought you here because I thought you wouldn’t like the usual dinner or stargazing trend. You said it yourself, you’re not like other girls. You prefer guns and all that gangster stuff. Its my bad for assuming you’d like it here.” He smiled, the dazzling of his white teeth almost blinding.
He looked genuinely apologetic. I guess I could cut him some slack.
“Do you want to head out then? We could maybe catch a fancy restaurant before it closes? Or any other pl–”
“Nah.” I interjected, my lips turning up slightly. “It’s quiet here now anyway. Let’s just stay.”
A grin instantly greeted me and before I could even blink, I found hands dipping into my hips, then I was being pulled into a warm lap and lips were swiftly hovering over mine. For some reason, I didn’t bother protesting, I simply aided in destroying the space between us and enjoyed the thrill of his lips moving against mine while his tongue expertly roamed my mouth.
I ran my palms over his torso as we kissed, reacquainting myself with his perfectly sculpted body. Even if I was a blind woman, I’d still be able to tell that he’s as sexy as anyone can get.
One of his large hands went directly for my butt, kneading and gripping the flesh in a taut, erotic hold. His other hand ran its slightly callous fingers over my clothed chest, climbing over my erected nipples and drifting up to the nape of my neck then into my auburn hair. His fingers played with the strands at first, before suddenly tightening it’s hold, yanking my head back as he dominated our kiss.
I moaned into his mouth, pushing my body closer to him as both my erected nipples and my tingling nether regions burned for attention. My breasts were literally squishing between our bodies, but who was I to care?
I was a moment away from ripping my clothes off and begging him to take me when he unfortunately pulled back a bit and teasingly ghosted his lips over mine, each end stretching further apart into a grin. I desperately wanted to continue making out with him, but the smug look on his face somehow held me back.
He’s such a freaking moron! I can feel his erection poking me!
“So…” He began.
“So what?” I brought my hands up to his shoulders, wrapping them around his neck as I rested my weight against him slightly.
“… Since I seem to know so little about you, why don’t you enlighten me? Do you have any allergies? Have you always been good with guns? Are you okay with my lifestyle? I know your father is pretty much the same, but… does anything bother you? Is there anything specific you want? Have y-”
“Hold your horses!” I covered his lips with my palm, scrunching up my face when his wet tongue swiped over it briefly. “You’re talking as if we’re about to get married.”
“Don’t you want to?” I felt him grin against my skin.
I chose to ignore that whole sentence altogether.
“Do I get to ask questions too?” I removed my palm and wiped his saliva unto his chest with a frown.
He shrugged. “Depends on what you’re asking.”
“Fine. I’ll ask you five questions which you’ll answer HONESTLY, then afterwards it’s your turn to shoot. Deal?”
He nodded.
“Good.” Grinning, I sat up straighter in his lap, “First question…. Why are you so obsessed with me?”
“You’re mine…. I told you.”
He didn’t even deny the ‘obsessed’ part.
“Why am I yours?”
“Because I claimed you.”
“Why did you claim me?”
“Because I like you.”
“Why do you like me?”
“Because you’re you.”
I scowled. “What kind of lame ass answer is that?!”
“You’re the one asking lame ass questions. Besides, you’ve already done five. It’s my turn.”
“I only asked four…. none of which you’ve answered properly.” I shot him a glare. “Anyway, last one… How did you end up in this business? Did your father—”
“I don’t have a father.” He butted in. The seriousness of his voice and the venom lacing the word ‘father’ had me easing back to examine him. After running my eyes over his pursed lips, deadly gaze –that of course wasn’t directed at me— and clenched jaws, I easily concluded that he didn’t look playful at all anymore. All fun and games were now tossed aside. Maybe I pushed the wrong button?
His father is obviously his sour spot. I should probably keep that in mind.
I mentally slapped myself. Why the hell did I have to bring that up and ruin the freaking mood?!
“Everything I do, every path I take… was solely my choice.”
I flinched a bit at his words. Why is he getting so ominously serious?
“I won’t stop until ‘he’ acknowledges that I’m better than he will ever be. I will show him that even a monster… can still be human.”
