After my meeting with Chloe, I pushed Elle away. I decided to leave my office. I went to my favorite restaurant the Arc and I want to visit Anna and Mrs. Mc Len’s tombs. I need air to clear out my mind to absorbs the things I discovered.
“Alex can you drop by to the flower shop. I need to get flowers for Anna and Mrs. Mc Len.”
“Yes sir.”
Alex drove to the flower shop where I get flowers for Chloe and her mom. I get off from the car and went inside the flower shop where Mrs. Kelly was.
She’s the owner of the shop and she usually prepares the bouquet of flowers for me.
“Good afternoon Mrs. Kelly. I want to get two flowers as usually please.” I told her.
” Good afternoon dear. Please come in and have a sit. Give me 5 minutes to arrange the flowers for you.”
” Thank you Mrs. Kelly.”
” It’s my pleasure dear, but you made me wonder why you came earlier this week to get the flowers?”
” I will be busy on Saturday Mrs. Kelly so I thought it would be a perfect time today.”
” Sure enough young man. You should get a girl friend to get sometime for your self.”
I laughed with her.
” Well Mrs. Kelly I won’t forget to introduce her to you once I have one.”
She shakes her head and smiled.
I sat and waited for her to finish the flower arrangements and sure enough after 5 minutes she finished it.
” Here you go dear your favorite flower to bring for them. Say hi to Anna and her mother.”
” Thanks Mrs. Kelly, sure I’ll tell her you said hi.” I smiled back.
Mrs. Kelly had been a good friend to me ever since I started buying flowers from her. She was curious because every week I come here only to buy flowers and I became her regular customer.
I told her then what these flowers meant to. Since that day she’s very happy to arrange it for me.
Before I could call her she already prepared what I needed.
But today I felt like going earlier because on Saturday I want to bring Chloe out.
I don’t want to be confused about my feeling. I know she’s mean something for me the moment I laid my eyes on her.
One day I will bring her to Anna’s tombstone to introduced her to the very special girl to me in the past.
“Bye Mrs. Kelly I’ll see you next week.”
“Bye dear have a great day!”
I left Mrs. Kelly’s flower shop and now heading to the cemetery. Alex drove for more than 30 minutes and finally we got here.
I walks slowly to Anna and Mrs. Mc Len’s tombstones.
I took a deep breath and smiled. I placed the pink roses on both their tombstones. I squatted and touch Anna’s name.
” Hey lovely, I hope you can still hear me. I want to tell you something. I met a woman that makes my heart beat faster again. I hope you can forgive me for liking her, but I want you to know that she is actually very similar to you. She has a blue eyes, hazelnut hair and she also likes lollipop as you do.”
I chuckled.
“She actually reminded me of you but it would be unfair to her. I’ll gonna have dinner with her this coming Saturday so I’m sorry if I can’t come here at that day but I made it sure I can come today.
I hope you will be happy for me. I hope one day she can come here with me and I know you will love to meet her as well.
I’m so sorry that it took so long for me to discovered the cause of your death and your mom. I promise that who ever is behind all of these I will make them pay.
They took you away from me and I will get justice for you and Mrs. Mc Len. Just give me time to find those people who killed you both.

I have to leave for now I need some matter to tend in my office, bye Anna. ”
I stood up and dust off my pants. I touched his name again and turned toward the car where Alex is waiting for me.
I am very determined to know the killer behind the accident. If my step father is involved then he has to pay for it even it can compromise my mother’s feeling.
Alex open the door for me and I settled my self inside the car.
“Thanks Alex, back to the office.”
Alex drove us back to the office and all I could think was Chloe. She seemed distance to me. She is really hard to figure out especially when it comes to her relationship because she workaholic and private person.
But I want to win her heart and I am certain about my feeling that she’s special to me. But it’s hard to figure out where to start when she’s only pointing out that we will be seeing each other just because of the business matter.
While I sat on my chair the knocked on the door interrupted my thoughts.
“Come in.”
Alex opened the door while holden an envelope in his hand.
“Sir, the investigation report has come.”
” Come here inside Alex and ring that report to me.”
I am eager to open the envelope but at the same time feeling uneasy.
Because I am still hoping that my mom won’t be affected when Mike done something stupid behind our back.
Alex handed the envelope when he reached in front of my table.
I reached out my right hand to receive the report. I took a deep breath before opening the envelope and my face went pale.
” How could he do this to us? After all these years he’d been playing with us?”
I mumbled
“Sir, are you okay?”
I gave the report back to Jerome so he can read the evidence on his own.
My heart sunk knowing that the man I trusted all these years had betrayed us and the worse part he killed the people I dearly cared of.
My mother will be devastated if she find out.
“Sir, your step father is mastermind of the crime. These reports showed that he paid these people to killed Mrs. Mc len and her daughter. The report also says that he transferred your father’s shares in this company.
After the death of Mrs. Mc len he forged the company’s documents when he transfer the shares to his name.”
“Now I understand it Alex why he and his son doesn’t want to leave this company at all. They’d been faking their names in our company.”
“But sir the other share that belongs to Mc len family is still valid even it’s been decades that nobody claim it. It stated that they owned 40% on Moore company after your late father merge with Mc len business although it remained the company’s name The Moore.”
I’m holding my fists after finding out what they did.
“Alex I need a copy of these documents right now as I am going straight to my mother’s mansion.”
“Yes, sir right away.”
Alex turned around and left while I am left alone in the room holding my fists of what my step father did.
I can’t believe that after we trusted him he betrayed us and what hurts more is he killed the two innocent people because of his greediness.
I took my phone and on the table and dialed my mother’s number. The line rang twice when my mom picked up the call.
“Hello son! It’s very unusual receiving your call at this time of hour.” She said
“Hi mom, can we talk today after my work?”
I made my voice calmer so she won’t noticed my anger.
“Oh my son of course! Finally you got time for your mother.”
“Mom of course you mattered to me, you know I’m always busy that’s why I barely see you.”
“Okay fine! I get it busy man.”
I cockles and made it seems she’s mad.
“Okay then mom, I’ll pick up you around 6 o’clock and we will have dinner together.”
“Perfect my son.”
“See you mom.”
“See you son.” I hanged up the call.
My office telephone rang and I received the call.
“Sir the copies are done and it’s ready. Would you like me to bring it inside your office?”
“Yes, please Alex. Just get in my office no need to knock on the door.”
Then I hanged up.
The door opened and revealed Alex’ presence.
“Here it is sir. All the documents you need are there.”
“Okay Alex please call for a reservation dinner for me, you and my mom. I need to tell and warn her about this matter.”
“Okay sir. I’ll leave you for some time.”
He went to his office while am left behind thinking.
The time is past 5 o’clock when Alex called me for us to leave and pick up my mother. He drove to my mother’s mansion.
“Sir we’ve arrived. You like to go down first?”
“It’s okay I’ll wait here in the car you call my mom so we can leave.”
He get down from driver sit and rang the bell outside. The guard open the gate.
“Call Mrs. Moore please sir. Denyx is waiting in the car.”
“Yes Mr. Alex just give me a minute, I’ll be back with Mrs. Moore.”
The guard went inside the mansion to inform my mother that I am waiting for her. After 2 minutes my mother is walking toward Alex.
“Good evening Mrs. Moore.”
“Good evening too Alex.”
“Please come with me sir Denyx is waiting for you inside the car.”
As my mom walk closer to the car I opened the door and stepped out to help her.
“Oh my son how lovely to see you.” She embraced me.
“Mom I’m glad to see you after my busy days. You still look beautiful as always.” I gave her a kiss on her cheeks after giving her a compliment she deserved.
I helped her get inside the car and sat next to her. While Alex drove us to the restaurant.
He parked the car and we all three went inside the restaurant.
“Reservation for three on Denyx name?” He ask the staff
“Welcome to JK restaurant sir. Please this way to your reservation room.”
“This restaurant look extravagant I love it.” My mom is smiling as I can see the excitement on her face.
“Yes mom, this is one of the new finest restaurant and they just opened last week that’s why you’re new to this place.”
“Oh! I see that’s wonderful then.” She smiled.
The staff opened the door for us to get inside the reserved room for us.
“Sir, ma’am here’s the menu. Just place your order to these tabs and it will appear to our order list in the middle of the table you can see an intercom, once you press it we can hear you, one of our staff will come to tend your needs when you need help. Our wines and champagnes are here too.”
Pointing the mini bar where we can get our wines after she explained what we will do.
“Okay thank you we are settle then.”
“Alright sir, ma’am enjoy your dinner and have a wonderful evening.”
“Thank you.”
We all three said in unison and the staff left us in the room.
We placed our orders and Alex moved at the counter to get a wine for 3 of us.
And we all sat down while waiting for our food to come.
” So son what’s the special occasion that you called it urgent today?”
“Yes mom, I have something to tell and you need to see some documents but first we need to finish our dinner before we will discuss this matter. Let’s enjoy the food and I am glad you came to have dinner with me.”
