Luciana’s POV
The world was finally in my hand. I had everything I wanted and that is to control the humans and make sure they crumbled under my feet but still, I wasn’t satisfied because the person I wanted death was still alive. Gabriella was still alive, hiding away where I couldn’t find her. If only Lady Aneka hasn’t spoiled my plan then Gabriella would have died and I would be glad.
It’s was night still the blood moon hasn’t occurred. My father, Xavier, and Rhoda, Candice, and her annoying brother Gerald all sat in the royal dining hall waiting for the blood moon to occur but I wasn’t patient enough because I wanted to hear the humans cry as I sink my fangs into their necks.
“Did we make a mistake about the blood moon?” Xavier questioned. “The moon should be up by now but there’s nothing yet.” He complained.
I balled my hand into a fist and closed my eyes trying to make sure I didn’t punch Xavier on the face. He was getting on my nerves and the only thing stopping me from ending his pathetic life was my father who trusted him. After his stupid beloved, lady Aneka and Gabriella’s sister ruined our plans, he locked her in his room instead of ending her life. That’s got me pissed and his complaints were starting to make my ear bleed.
“They will never make a mistake about the blood moon.” Candice assumed as if she existed a thousand years ago.
“Hmmm,” I stood up from my chair at the end of the table. “Whether or whether not the blood moon comes up tonight, I am going to have a little fun with those pathetic humans,” I chuckled and closed my eyes letting the images of dead humans with their throats ripped out and blood pooling out like a river. “If you want to join me, you are welcome but unless,” I pointed to Xavier. “You want to stay here and whine like a little boy, go ahead. It’s your choice.” I told him and pointed to Candice and Gerald. “Follow me if you want your blood moon.”
“Of course,” Candice jumped on her feet and pulled his brother up. “Let’s go have fun.”
“We should wait for the blood moon or don’t you think you are making a mistake?” Rhoda’s voice shook terribly and I could smell her fear.
She was afraid that I’ll suck her dry but I don’t think I can drink from a human with hatred and evil in her hands. I rather have my puppet boy drink from her. “If you want to live, I’ll suggest you follow us!” I told her and she jumped to her feet and rushed to my side.
“Thank you milady. I’m grateful for your kindness.”
Kindness? She was exaggerating too much because I was far from being kind. “Father,” I smiled at my father before walking out of the dining hall with my minions.
When I walked out of the hall, the first human I saw was a slim girl that looks sickly. When I smelled her blood, it’s smelt like dirt and decayed blood. I didn’t want that kind of blood so I just pushed her towards Candice and Gerald.
Candice and Gerald lunged themselves at her and bit her on the neck. Candice bit her on the left side while Gerald bit her on the right side. I suddenly burst into laughter when I heard the human screaming out in pain. Her screams brought a soothing to my soul. It’s was filled with ecstasy but I still wanted more fun.
“Hey, follow me except you want to be their food.” I pointed to Gerald and Candice Who had dropped the human on the ground and stared at Rhoda as if she was their next victim.
“Eyes off her,” I told them. “She is mine.” I sad possessively and beckoned for Rhoda to follow me.
I had something more fun I could use her for.
“Thank you, my lady,” Rhoda smiled brightly as she trailed behind me while looking back every few seconds to check if Candice and Gerald will come after her. “Why are we coming here, my lady?” Rhoda questioned as we walked into the hidden tunnel where we do have our meeting.
“For fun,” I chuckled lightly and whistled. The puppet human that I had turned to a vampire burst out of where I had hidden him. He growled and lunged at Rhoda.
“My lady, what are you doing?” Rhoda shouted and tried to run away from my newly turned Vampire.
I burst into laughter and sat on one of the chairs inside the tunnel. “Why are you doing this? I did all you wanted me to do!” Rhoda shouted.
I placed my hand on my head and rubbed it gently. “I don’t think you are that important anymore. You were just a toy I needed to achieve my goal. You are nothing!” I declared.
“You are an animal!” Rhoda shouted.
“Yes, I am.” I laughed and whistled again. The newly vampire lunged at her and bite her hard on the neck. Rhoda let out a deafening scream that made me laugh over and over again. “Good boy!” I rubbed the head of the vampire as he dropped a dead Rhoda on the ground. “You deserve it!” I bent down and touched her neck that was oozing out with blood. I bought my hand to my mouth and lick it. “She tastes vile like her soul.” I spat out her blood and stood up.
“You,” I said to the newly turned vampire. “Follow me!” I shouted and walked out of the tunnel. “We have fun to catch!” I chuckled as we walked towards the slave’s quarter. There we both lunged at all the humans draining them of all the blood in their bodies. If the blood moon refuses to show then I could make my blood moon.

Slade POV
The blood moon refuses to show up after much anticipation. Something had stopped the blood moon from showing. My only guess was the death of my father. Without a king, there was no one to initiate the moon. Luciana and her father had anticipated the blood moon thinking that it would work on their behalf but it’s backfired.
I stood outside the cave and stared up at the sky hoping that the blood moon wouldn’t show. The sky was void of any moon. The only thing that could be seen were the stars that brighten up the sky.
“The blood moon doesn’t seem to come up anytime soon.” Gabriella’s voice sounded from the entrance of the cave. She walked towards me and stood beside me. “You okay?” She questioned.
“Yes, I am,” I answered but I wasn’t okay. I had thought about our future once everything ends but I saw nothing for us. I wanted her to be by my side forever but Gabriella doesn’t seem like she wanted that too.
“You know when I was in that cell. I saw a vision of us in the past. ” She looked at me and smiled.
“What does she mean by that?” I thought as I stared at her.
“Your grandfather and mother look just like us. And then you came and then Bianca and then me,” she chuckled and stretched her hand towards the sky. “We are fated to be together.” She grabbed my hand and smiled. “I hope when all of this is over, we could be together forever.”
Did she read my mind because it’s was all I had in thought? I wanted us to be together and rule the world fairly. “You sure?” I wrapped my hand around her waist and pulled her closer to me. Placing one hand on her left cheek, I pinched and ruffled her hair. “You look beautiful my darling,” I told her and kissed her on her forehead. “You are the best,” I told her. “I hope we will be together forever,” I stared into her beautiful obsidian eyes and placed a kiss on a forehead again.
“Your eyes are glowing again,” she pointed to them. “They looked brighter.”
“It’s my wolf. He is happy you’ve accepted him.”
“That’s great. “Gabriella exclaimed and stretched forth her hand to touch my eyes. ” They are perfect.” She commented. “One of these days, I hope to see your wolf.”
“Of course,” I placed my hand on her shoulder and we both stared at the moon. “I wish all of this would come to an end. Just like you’ve said from the beginning, humans need to be free.”
“I hope the day will come when everyone will be happy again and not just the humans, other creatures like the werewolves. They deserved another chance.”
Gabriella was right about that. Other creatures also deserved a happy ending. “What do you say to make cute wolf babies?” I smirked at her.
“As long as the baby is from you, I will be glad.” She winked at me.
“You are naughty Gabby,” I pinched her cheek and watched her laugh with excitement. “I’m happy to have you back in my arms.”
“Me too. I hope tomorrow will be great,” she said.
If only we could see tomorrow.
