Luciana POV
“Father!” I yelled as I made my way into my father’s room. My father was laying on the bed half-naked with two human girls. He was drinking from one of the girls while the other girl ran his hand on his naked body. I rushed towards the girl who has her hands on my father’s body and dragged her out of the bed. I was already mad before entering the room and seeing the two girls with my father made me see red. I sank my fangs into her neck. The girl screamed out but I didn’t care. I gulped her blood with every anger inside of me. When I was done, I threw the girl to the ground as she was already dead.
I wiped her blood off my lips and glared at the second girl who was already shaking in fear. “Our plan failed father,” I announced what I came for. “Gabriella is back.”
My father stopped drinking from the girl and pushed her to me. I smiled when she begged to be saved. “Please don’t kill me,” she begged but I was not a Merciful person. I sank my fangs into her neck and drain her. She fell next to the next girl and in a few seconds, her eyes were closed in death.
“How did she come back?” My father asked.
“It’s not about how. It’s about how everything is going to end for us once Slade found about what us.”
I jumped out of his bed and walked into his closet. He picked a shirt and wears it. “He has no evidence against us and I am going to make sure our plans work out.”
“Which is why we need to go for Plan B,” I advised.
To cut the story short, My Father was after the throne and I was after Slade. The only obstacle in my way was Gabriella. I didn’t care about who does or lives as long as I get what I wanted. I was going to become the Queen of the Vampires and no one was going to stop me.
“Plan B is the best option but you have to find a way to seduce Slade.”
I smiled at my father. “Of course,” I placed a hand on my chin as I thought of the best way to get Slade to my bed. Ever since Gabriella came back, he had been different just like he was years ago with Bianca. “We need to be fast about our plans Father. The King is a cunning Man. He needs to die.”
“Plan B it is.”
“Very well then. What do we do about these girls?” I pointed to the dead girls laying dead on the ground.
“We will burn them like we used to.”
“Okay,” I answered back. I walked over to the girls but stepped back and dug my heels into one of the girl’s legs. It made a hole but no blood came out. They were completely drained of any red liquid. I looked at my Father’s face as he smiled at me and I smiled back. I walked out of his home and headed towards mine. That’s night, I promised to make Slade mine.

Gabriella POV
After the argument with Slade, I was inside my room for hours without eating or drinking. When night came, I closed my eyes and welcome my sleep that I know would be filled with nightmares and I was right about that.
“Wake up!” Someone clapped into my ears and when I tried to open my eyes. Water was poured on my entire body. I was wet from my hair down to my feet.
“Who the hell is that?” I opened my eyes and the first thing I saw was a Woman. She wasn’t a vampire but she was glaring at me with her dark brown eyes. She dragged me out of the bed and I landed on the ground with a loud thump. “What are you doing?”
“Training you. The prince asked that you should be removed from this room.” She said to me.
I blinked twice at her because I couldn’t believe what I heard. “Why would the prince ask you to chase me out?”
“Lesson 1 young lady. You are not allowed to talk unless you are being spoken to.” She declared and I scoffed. Who the hell does she think she was? She was just a normal human like me but she was acting like a powerful Vampire which I found irritating.
“You are a human ma’am. Act like one.” I advised.
“I’ve heard about you and you are clear who they say you are.”
“I must thank this they who has nothing more to do than talk about me.” I stood up from the ground and squeezed the liquid out of the hem of my clothing. “Waking me up with water is very stupid.” I sassed and clicked my tongue.
“Guards!” The woman shouted and two guards entered my room. “Take her to her new room.” She
ordered.
Before I could say anything, I was dragged out of the room into the hallway. “What’s are you doing?” I shouted as I was dragged like a bag of trash. I kicked and yelled but I was ignored. The guards dragged me to a part of the castle I’d never been to before and took me downstairs that looks like a basement. When they got to the basement, they threw me on the ground. “Go to hell assholes!” I shouted.
“She is the one right?”
“Yeah. The one with the loudmouth.”
I heard whispers around and when I turned, I realized I was in a room and not a basement. There were five bunk beds and Ten girls stared back at me. Some whispered amongst themselves while the rest gave me a distasteful look. Among the girls was Elegance who waved when our eyes met.
“Listen up everyone. I am Madam Hunter and I am in charge of a big celebration coming up in the castle.” The human woman who barged into my room ordered. “Stand up from the ground Gabriella!” She ordered.
I muttered a few curse words and stood up from the ground. I stood beside a girl who shifted when she saw me.
Do I look like I care?
Slade threw me out of my room because of the argument we had. If he thought that I was going to beg him because of an argument. “Are you listening Gabriella?” I had no idea that Madam hunter was in front of me. “Are you daydreaming right now, Gabriella?”
“Do I look like I am sleeping Madam hunter?” I retorted.
“Right.” Madam hunter smiled but it was all fake as she raised her hand and slapped me on the face. My face whipped to the other side but I didn’t back down.
“Why are you acting like you own the world? You are just a human-like me?” I said to her and the girls in the room all gasped.
“They were right about you being a bitch but I am much more worst.” She raised her hand again and slapped me hard on the same cheek.” I don’t know why you think you are so special but you are nothing but a mere slave.”
“Same with you,” I answered back and the girl all laughed.
Madam hunter grabbed a handful of my short hair and pulled me to a wall. She hit my head on the wall and let go of me. ” There is a difference between us. You are a mere slave no one wanted. I heard about how tough you acted on your auction night. Prince Slade only bought you out of pity.”
Everything she had said didn’t matter to me but her last word sent an invisible arrow into my heart. Red liquid flows down my face from my head but I didn’t feel the pain. What I felt was an invisible pain. The pain of rejection. I felt like I was being rejected because no one was by my side not even Daphne whom I called my friend. “Stop acting strong little girl. You are nothing.” Madam hunter told me and continued to talk about the big celebration but my mind was far from it.
I was on the verge of tears but I wasn’t going to cry in front of the girls. I was a strong woman who never care about what others thought of me but I was starting to let what others thought of me get off mine. It was painful and I wanted to scream out loud and tell the whole world that I was tired. I was tired of the world I lived in.
“That’s will be all. Get prepared for tomorrow everyone.” She said and walked out of the room not without sparing me a glare.
The girls all went to their different beds while I was still standing with blood on my face. They didn’t care about me. When I counted the bed in the room, it was ten meaning I was going to sleep on the ground. “Hey, gab. You are bleeding hard.” Elegance came to stand by me. “Come I’ll walk you into the bathroom.” She took my hand and walked me into a door that turned out to be a bathroom. Elegance helped me wash the blood off my face and it helped to stop the bleeding but a tiny amount of blood was still coming out. “Have you seen my friend?” I asked after Daphne because I haven’t seen her for long.
“I have no idea.” She replied. “You can sleep by my side.”
“No, ” I refused. “It’s a bunk bed Elegance. There is not enough space for two people.”
“But, you can’t possibly sleep on the ground. It will be too cold for you.” Elegance argued.
I smiled at her kindness but I wasn’t going to drag her into my business. I’ll manage the floor.” I told her and she argued no more.
When we walked back into the room, some girls whispered amongst themselves which I chose to ignore because if they wanted a fight, they should say it to my face. That’s the night I slept on the cold hard floor. I shivered as the coldness of the ground sent a sensation to my body. I thought of what would happen if I survived the night. I was going to make everyone including Slade pay for what they did to me.
