THE PARTY ended early.
I didn’t go down after we talked. I just let my friends downstairs have fun while I was just thinking about Mama Cha upstairs, and besides, I wasn’t really in the mood. I had been sad earlier and everyone had gone home except for Ben and Nick, who kept talking to me. The three of us were sitting in the living room downstairs talking. It was already one o’clock in the morning.
“Did you reach Mama Cha, Ben?” I asked. “She still shut me off!”
“Ah no Clint, we all seem to have shut off! I can’t see her anymore in my accounts! ” said Nick.
Ben handed me a bottle of beer. “Just calm down, okay? We’ll figure this out. Nick and I have fixed your door. No more smashing, okay? ” He repeated it. “Clint Brother, why did you hide it from us?” Ben sat down on the sofa next to me. “Okay!”Storytime! ” He put in.
“What do you mean, Clint? Your relationship with Aunt Cha is no longer the same. What does this imply? Are you and her f**king together?” Nick asked, seriously.
I just answered with a quick nod.
“There’s nothing wrong with that, Clint,” Ben said.
“The problem is, why did you hide from us? Are you afraid of being judged in public? Those relationships are normal now! Besides, nothing is embarrassing about that! ” said Nick.
“She wants to; she’s ashamed of her friends knowing that she’s having an affair with the boy she took care of!” I answered back quickly.
“So, you agree? You’re a fool!” Ben cried out.
“Yes! I don’t have a choice. That’s what she wants, but you know, for me? I don’t have a problem exposing our relationship, because keeping it secret will just worsen everything! ” I said.
“If we had known that, we wouldn’t have pushed you to Trina! See? At the very least, we knew and avoided pushing you towards her!” Ben explained.
We kept silent for a moment.
“You know, I don’t know if I will accept that news or not!”
“Are you crazy, Clint? Do you mean the baby? ”
“Nick! I don’t know how to count that and then- I f**ked her just three times, and as far as I remember, I didn’t forget to use that f**kin’ rubber you gave me!” I said, followed by furrowed brows.
“Why shouldn’t you talk to her to clarify?” Ben said.
“Clint! How can you say that? I don’t think Trina has another boyfriend! ”
“Nick! Daddy Gee said they saw her in Global with someone recently, right? So it means Clint isn’t the only man! We’ll admit that we don’t like Trina for Clint because we’ve already seen what kind of whore she is!” Ben explained again.
“So, Aunt Cha already knows that Trina is pregnant. Do you think that’s one of the things she’s angry about? But Brother! Did you see Aunt Cha cry earlier? I’ve never seen her like that before! Just like Clint! This is the first time I saw you weeping. F**k! ” said, Nick.
“She’s been ignoring me for almost two months now. That’s another thing that upsets me! She’s avoiding me! ” I replied.
“Means? She’s already ignoring you before this pregnancy issue?” Ben asked.
“Yes, Ben. She unexpectedly changed after our battle in Japan,” I said.
“Mother Clint! If I was in her situation too, I would break up with you! The f**k! You know that you two are having an affair, then why go somewhere with another girl? And take a f**kin’ note! Not just a girl! A pretentious girlfriend! You just made me look stupid if I was Aunt Cha!” Ben said angrily.
“Ben, you know that I don’t know anything about that, even though she’s spreading that f**kin’ fake news! You know that, guys?” I said.
“It’s your fault too, Clint. You f**ked her! You must be the one to resist because-you know, you have Aunt Chari!” Nick said, shaking his head.
“If I were the one who had been with Trina for days, brother, F**k! No resting, not even for a moment! He’ll! That chick is an angel! F**kin’ angel!” Nick said, matched with a funny facial expression.
“You’re hypersexual too!” Ben said to me.
I didn’t say a word. I continued to thump on the beer bottle I was holding.
The two who were looking at me kept silent.
A minute later, and…
“Hmmm! Hmm…” I’m crying again.
“All right brother, they didn’t say that crying was a sin. Come on,” Nick said. “Haaah… Another man down.” I heard him say it again.
The two hugged me.
This is the first time I’ve seen these two seriously. Even though it was embarrassing for them to see me like this, I don’t mind at all. I feel like these moments will end all of Mama Chari and me, which I don’t want to happen.
I was still crying for a while.
“Hmm.. Brother, help me! I don’t know where she is now!” I sobbed. “I don’t know if she’s going to come back or what. Hmmm. F**k! Hmp! ”
I never spoke again. I just let myself release the strength of emotion I was feeling at those times. Thank you, and there are two of my best friends who are willing to comfort me even if everyone is joking once in a while.
I cried…
I just cried, and I cried in front of Ben and Nick.
“All right, Clint… Ben and I are just here.” Nick said, still not stopping rubbing my back.
I feel so much chest pain that I almost want to stop breathing just to reduce it. I can’t help but blame myself for what happened. I know I’m very guilty about what I did to Mama Cha because I lied to her. I kept it all secret, and now what? This is what’s happening! I can’t help but blame myself! It’s all my fault. F**kin’ cunt!
“Guys, I don’t love Trina… What am I going to do? What will I do with that baby?” I said with a raspy voice that couldn’t stop crying.
I couldn’t control myself anymore, until…
SHAG!
“Clint! Stop! I told you there’s no such thing! ” Ben shouted.
I couldn’t help myself and I threw the beer bottle I was holding. It shattered and scattered everywhere.
“Clint!” Nick called.
I walked straight out the gate, to the car, and took the baseball bat that I always kept in the trunk.
These two are fast.
“Mother Clint!” Ben yelled.
They directly yanked both my arms.
“At least one! I’m going to blow up! This is driving me crazy! Come on, guys! Just a quick blow! Just my car! I won’t damage anything! ” I said, crying while trying to run from Ben and Nick.
“Clint! What are you going to do? ”
“Just a quick one, Ben! ” I yelled.
“All right! Hit us with that! You hit us with that f**kin’ baseball bat! We’re not letting you out here! You might hurt someone with that! Come on, Clint! Hit us! ” Ben yelled too.
The two released me, and I was about to give my neighbor’s car a strong blow when, unexpectedly…
“Clint? W-what are you doing? ”
“Huh? Ma?”
I saw Mama Cha was already there and watching the three of us.
“Aunt Chari.” Ben muttered.
She was wearing a different dress, not the floral dress she had been wearing before. She looks like she’s okay; her face is fine and not that sad or irritated anymore like earlier. She seemed to recover so quickly while I was just starting.
I immediately reached her. Put the baseball bat I was holding down and…
“Ma! Ma, sorry .. Hmmm.” I hugged her tight. I was so anxious to see her.
“I’m sorry, Ma!”
I repeatedly apologized to her. I clutched her even tighter.
“Ma… Maa… Please forgive me. Sorry.. ”
I can’t help crying out loud. I want to pour out all the remorse and sadness that I’m feeling at that very moment. I wanted to hug her so tightly because I felt like it was too late. I can feel everything coming to an end, and I can see her drifting away. I feel so sad and lonely just thinking of that.
Ben and Nick just stood there watching us. I noticed them wiping their eyes and crying as well.
Slowly, I felt her embrace me. I can feel the grip of her arms on my waist. I haven’t stopped yet.
“Maaaa! Sorry, Mama Cha! Sorry, Maaaa. I didn’t mean to, Maa. Hmmm.. Please don’t leave me; I love you so much, Maa… sorry! pleeeease, Ma! Hmmm. I’m sorry. ” I cried aloud and begged. I cried like a little boy who doesn’t want his mother to leave. I knelt in front of her and squeezed her hip tighter. I didn’t want to let go of her at that moment. Because if I do-she’ll be gone forever.
“Ma, I’m so sorry. Please forgive me. I’m sorry!” I begged, crying while looking straight into her eyes.
I don’t want to lose her. No! Not ever!
