Chapter 45

Book:Alpha's Revengeful Mate Published:2024-5-1

Daina and I had a tacit battle understanding.
We each commanded elite werewolves against the rogues.
With two attacks, we trapped them.
These rogues were weak.
Because they were outnumbered, this pack’s werewolves were at their mercy.
Daina and I attracted the rogues’ primary force, so the werewolves escaped.
I feared Daina wouldn’t be as powerful after going without training.
She assaulted the rogues head-on, much to my amazement.
Daina smiled and said, “Stephan Buther, I haven’t fought in a long time. It’s their terrible luck to meet me today.”
Her hair was flowing over her shoulders after the struggle.
“Daina, don’t get hurt.”
I couldn’t stop watching Daina while battling the rogues.
Maybe it was beneficial for her to express her feelings, but I feared she’d ignore her own safety while battling rogues.
After observing Daina for a bit, I saw she wasn’t as irresponsible as I anticipated and still remembered her training, so I let her have the main battlefield.
Our victory came quickly.
The remaining rogues didn’t dare approach Daina after a few minutes.
The pack’s caged werewolves changed into wolves to save me and Daina.
The outmatched rogues ran away.
After the combat, I worriedly held Daina’s hand.
She pushed out her tongue and scowled.
“Don’t worry, honey. I’ll stop.”
Werewolves approached Daina and me as we were leaving.
Which pack are you from?
“I’ve never seen a she-wolf as powerful as you, Miss. You stole my breath away.”
Those werewolves talked one after another, not letting me speak.
“What pack are you from? Are you mated?”
“Her name is Daina, and she’s with me, Prince Stephan Buther ,” I said.
When the werewolves heard it, they bent their heads and stopped approaching Daina.
Crazy! This universe was insane. My subordinate told me the news in my room.
I flipped a table in anger.
The slaves kneeling before me shivered when the table hit the wall.
Who told me Stephan Buther led his guards to the Silver Sea Pack? Now he’s built his name by helping his pack battle rogues.
I flung a glass at a waiter’s head.
Seeing his skull bleed made me feel better.
I hadn’t felt this way in ages.
As his blood fell, my rage waned.
“Fuck off, losers,” I said.
They patted and sprang to their feet.
Rona arrived as they left.
“Oku, have you heard of Stephan Buther?” she inquired.
“Oku, be prepared. You’re in trouble. Stephan Buther and Daina helped strengthen the Silver Sea Pack’s public image. After returning, they’ll declare their marriage.”
I accidentally overturned a chair.
If I could murder Stephan Buther then, he’d be dead.
They planned to help a pack gain status, then proclaim their marriage.
Then they’d usurp me.
Rona whispered, “Relax.”
I brooded forever. Suddenly, I had an idea. I may issue an edict to Daina’s pack’s Alpha.
Maybe someone might assist me with Daina and Stephan Buther.
Dawson Alison, the pack’s former Beta, is now Alpha.
He said he had to become Alpha because the previous one died.
If he learned she was alive and ready to marry Stephan Buther, he’d halt the wedding.
POV: Daina
Silver Sea Pack was thriving.
I was glad since Stephan Buther needed to improve his public image.
Stephan Buther and I entered the hall to see Oku on his throne and Elizabeth beside to him.
“Stephan Buther and Daina helped the Silver Sea Pack defeat rogues.
They deserve praise, ”
“Exactly. Okay, Oku?”
Other elders concurred. Gloomily, Oku nodded.
Oku was spiteful and cared only for himself.
We all knew he was merely appearing to agree and scheming revenge on us.
Elizabeth suggested a lavish feast after the welcoming ceremony, which was approved.
Elizabeth grabbed my hand as I left the hall.
“I’ll announce your marriage during the dinner?”
Elizabeth took over when I didn’t respond.
“Stephan, take Daina shopping. Make her the banquet’s most gorgeous she-wolf.” I became hot and nervous.
Stephan Buther He nodded and took me clothing shopping.
He insisted on clothing me himself
“I’ll never abandon you if you remain by my side.”
Stephan Buther murmured as he hugged me.
My throat hurt.
Stephan Buther is amazing.
I proceeded to the dinner hall. I recognized a familiar face as we approached the entryway.
That familiar smell! I’d encountered that werewolf before.
“Daina.”
Elizabeth interrupted me as I was ready to follow a familiar fragrance.
She seemed to want to accompany me.
I followed Elizabeth inside the dining hall, and the werewolves looked at us.
I was anxious about the supper because of the figure I saw.
Bad news? Something wasn’t right.
Daina’s POV:
Stephan Buther made me a beautiful, gorgeous outfit for today.
Since I entered with Stephan Buther and Elizabeth, all eyes were on me.
Especially among female lycans, most were unfriendly.
“Is she the prince’s bride?”
“She and Stephan Buther marked each other. They’re mates!”
Why wasn’t I Stephan Buther’s mate?
I heard that she rescued Silver Sea Pack and would marry Stephan Buther.
They were hostile towards me. Stephan came to my side, grasped my hand, and held it up.
“Daina is my mate, whom I adore profoundly. No one can injure her.”
Other females stopped slandering me and apologized.
Stephan Buther reassured me.
I waved my hand to demonstrate that I forgiven them. I sighed as I saw Rona coming.
I knew she loved Stephan Buther, yet she still grabbed my arm.
“I heard you and Stephan Buther are getting along well. Now that your wedding date is nearing, please let me assist with the preparations. put Let’s everything between us in the past. Please forgive me.”
I never liked Rona. I thought she disappeared Elizabeth.
Did she really think I’d accept now? For Stephan Buther and Elizabeth’s sake, I played along.
“Don’t worry, Rona,” I smiled.
Banquet time!
Oku declared , “Daina contributed tremendously to our triumph over the rogue s. I have a special present for her.”
“Everyone, watch behind you!” Oku said, as werewolves charged forward.
Aged werewolf led. Maria standing behind him helped me identify him.
OMG! Eden usurped my father’s place as pack Alpha. My chest hurt.
Stephan Buther helped me rise. After my father’s murder, my pack was renamed. I was exiled.
Eden caused me misery. He surprised me.
