Early in the morning.
It was their wedding day. Ethan and Emily both spend sleepless nights in their room.
Both of them climbed out of their beds and went to the washroom to get fresh. They took a shower and went to get ready.
After Emily came back from the washroom a few makeup artists came and took Emily with them.
They made her sit in front of a mirror and started to apply makeup on her face.
Meanwhile in the guest room, Liam was helping Ethan to get ready.
Ethan wore a knee length coat buttoning up to his neck. A classic punch of cream sherwani in which embroidery is done with gold and platinum wires with a red sawl placed on his wide shoulder.
A cream colored safa (a cloth wrapped round the head) was placed on his head with a brooch on it.
Ethan was looking devilishly handsome in his wedding dress.
Liam wore a pastel pink colored sherwani.
“Will there be any problems in the wedding?” Ethan asked Liam while fixing his safa.
“Don’t worry. We won’t have any problems. And by chance if we have a problem then leave it to me. I will handle it. You just enjoy your day.” Liam said as he sat down on the bed.
“Hmm, ok.” Ethan responded back.
“Ethan, can I say something?” Liam asked hesitantly.
“There was a time when you wouldn’t stop babbling even if I told you to stop but now you are asking my permission to say something. What changed, Liam?” Ethan said while he went around the room to sit beside Liam.
“Haha” Liam laughed in a response.
“Say it.” Ethan knew that Liam had something important to say to him. If it was not important then Liam wouldn’t have asked him to speak.
Liam sighed.
With a serious face Liam looked into Ethan’s eyes and started to speak.
“Please don’t hurt Emily, Ethan. See man, don’t get it wrong. I know that you will never hurt her but see she is already broken. That guy, Abhay whom she loved though it wasn’t supposed to be him who should get her love back then, it was supposed to be you. We all saw what he did with her? Her own father didn’t love her and was never there for her.”
“We still completely don’t know what she has gone through all these years and we even won’t know if she doesn’t open up to anyone of us, especially you.”
“Take care of her, love her and support her in every step of her life. Never disappoint her brother, she is a gem. Remember if you hurt her she will be shattered and she will never come back to you.”
“I hope both of you live a happy and peaceful life. I pray that evil eyes don’t find both of you.”
Ethan was stunned for a few minutes. He never knew that his friend who was playful would ever say these kinds of words. His words have such deep meanings.
Ethan hugged Liam and said in a low voice, “I will make her happy Liam and will live happily by her side. I won’t let anyone hurt her, including myself. I promise.”
After a few minutes Liam broke their hug and smiled at Ethan.
“Let’s go. It’s time for you to get married. Liam said with a cheesy grin.
They both stood up and started to walk out of the guest room. They walked towards the mandap (aisle) and Ethan stepped inside the mandap and sat there while waiting for his bride to join him in their new journey ahead.
This is the place where Emily and Ethan will take a first step towards their life by getting married to each other.
