Arabella’s point of view.
The ride back to the palace as being a quiet one, I dared not utter any words because Wymond was fuming beside me, making it quite uncomfortable and hot for me at the backseat.
I looked out the window as Edward drove the streets, it seemed as though a very dangerous earthquake had happened in Wymond’s region, a lot of buildings were destroyed and even some parts of roads in the street -although, the road we’re going by is good.
Right now, Wymond’s region almost looked like our pack after the war with Black-Knight -right, Wymond’s region consist of every supernatural creatures, because he’s the King.
“What the heck happened?” I muttered quietly, but Edward heard me -I know Wymond heard too, he just doesn’t wanna reply me.
“We don’t know what happened yet, your highness” was the only response Edward gave me.
I leaned back on my seat and didn’t bother to ask any further questions, I just stayed silent for the rest of the ride.
Edward drove into the garage and parked the car, Wymond didn’t wait for Edward to come get the door for him as usual, he pushed the door opened and rushed out.
“Quick, gather every bloody guards on duty during the break out!” he ordered Edward, then stormed off towards the direction of the dungeon without even waiting for Edward’s response.
“Your highness, you should get some rest” Edward told me, his eyes were fixed on my neck as he speak.
My hand went to my neck on instincts and rubbed it slowly, I can already imagine red marks on my neck at the moment.
“Hm” I hummed.
“His Majesty is under a lot of pressure at the moment”
I scoffed.
“Well, I’m not his stress reliever”
“Er… you kinda are” he replied after briefly reasoning my comment and chuckled lightly.
“Humph” I huffed. “… there are many other ways he could relief his stress when it comes to me, he can kiss me or just hold me -not trying to strangle me to death”
He chuckled.
“His Majesty wasn’t a gentleman and you know that, he’s just learning to become one after meeting you, but you should know it’s gonna take some time and like I told you earlier, take a step back and let him catch his breath too”
He sighed deeply.
“He will apologize for his actions when he’s come back to his sense” he said and rushed off too.
I watched him until he’s out of sight, I inhale deeply, exhaled slowly and shook my head -maybe he’s right, Maybe I was taking Wymond’s change too seriously.
Someone suddenly threw an arm around my shoulder, but I didn’t panic because a familiar scent filled my nostrils.
“Renee” I called her quietly.
“What? Trouble in paradise?” she asked.
My shoulders slumped down and I sighed again.
“You can say that” I tilted my head and frowned slightly in surprise. “How did you know?” I asked.
She laughed briefly.
“My brother mind-linked me to come keep you company and he sounded mad when he mentioned your name”
“Oh”
“Yeah, let’s talk inside” she said and led us inside.

Third person’s point of view.
(Dungeon)
There’s a pin drop silence in the dungeon as the guards all arranged themselves in straight line, their heads were bowed out of fear, they couldn’t afford to raise their heads and take a peek at Wymond’s face because Wymond’s face, especially his eyes are brimming fire at the moment.
Wymond stood with his back facing them, his hands were folded behind him, held a whip tightly yet it’s dangling dangerous and frightening slowly.
He was holding a thorn whip, but none of the guards knew that because none of them dared raise his head and take a peek.
“A prisoner was snatched from my dungeon” Wymond broke the silence.
He slowly turned around and faced the trembling guards, he studied them for a moment before he sat on the chair Edward had brought for him earlier.
“Tell me, how was that possible? How did it happened?” Wymond asked.
His voice was so quiet and calm, but it’s vibration sent chills down everyone’s spine, even Edward seemed scared because they all knew this was calm before the storm -none of the guards dare say a word.
“I asked a question!” he growled and lashed the whip randomly.
A guard fell on the ground and started howling in pain, with blood gushing out from a very deep cut the whip had just created on him.
The other guards gasped in great fear when they realized it’s a thorn whip Wymond’s holding, they all fell on their faces and started gibbering in terror.
“Silence!” he growled at them.
He randomly lashed the whip again as he said those words, another guard started rolling on the ground in pain with blood gushing out from his back.
“One person at a time, speak!” he bellowed.
“Your… your… your…”
“Don’t fuçking stutter!”
“Yes, yes, your Majesty” the guard said quickly. “Your Majesty, we really don’t know what happened, there was a sudden dark mist but it was gone almost immediately and fire strangely consumed Jax”
He pointed at another guard whose neck and chest are burnt, he was groaning agonizingly but still managed to keep his groans at bay to avoid offending Wymond.
“You” Wymond pointed his whip at a guard near him. “Take him to the infirmary”
“Yes, your Majesty” the guard helped the injured guard up and they quickly rushed out as if they’re trying to escape death.
“Continue” Wymond said.
“We managed to put out the fire after much efforts, but we discovered the Alpha’s gone after a while and….”
“Your Majesty” Edward interrupted the guard’s explanation. “The elders are waiting outside the meeting hall and seeking audience with you” he reported.
Wymond sighed, he got up and threw the whip on the ground.
“All of you, to the field now, 500 laps!”
The guards gasped as their eyes grew wide in terror, Edward leaned closer to Wymond’s ear and whispered.
“Your Majesty, 500 laps… they can’t survive it” he pleaded on their behalves.
Wymond glared at them for a moment.
“150 laps”
Sighs of relief was heard from all of them and they fell on their faces again.
“Thank you, your Majesty, for your mercy” the guards started chanting happily.
Wymond turned to Edward.
“Let’s go”
