Wymond sprang up when he saw how fast the rollercoaster was moving, he felt the urge to stop it immediately and get his mate down, but he balled his fists and fought the urge -he knew his mate would get mad at him if he tries such.
“Your Majesty!” Edward called with urgency in his voice as he approached Wymond.
Although, Wymond heard when Edward called him, but he didn’t hear the urgency in his voice, because his eyes were fixed on the rollercoaster.
“Your Majesty, something….”
“Edward” he cut Edward off, still not taking his eyes off the rollercoaster. “You once brought me a file to sign a very long time ago, that you wanted to build a mall and an amusement park, correct?”
“Yes, your Majesty” Edward answered.
“Is this the park?” he asked again.
“Yes, Majesty”
Wymond took his eyes off the rollercoaster at once, he narrowed his eyes at Edward and pointed at the rollercoaster.
“You call that amusement?”
“Yes, a lot of pups and even adults love it”
“Listen” Wymond said.
Edward listened, he heard excited screams and smiled, but he quickly wiped the smile off his face when his eyes met Wymond’s burning gaze.
“They’re scared out of their wits end you call that excitement?!”
Edward sighed.
“You’re mistaking, your Majesty, they’re….”
“Just shut up” Wymond cut him off.
“Yes, your Majesty” then Edward didn’t utter anymore words.
They stayed in a moment of silence, with Edward thinking of ways to report what had happened back to the palace and he played with his fingers nervously.
After much thoughts, he gathered enough courage and cleared his throat.
“Your Majesty” he called.
He paused and studied Wymond’s face, but as usual his face was free of any expectations.
“Something happened at the dungeon while you’re away” he said.
This statement caught Wymond’s attention and he tore his gaze from his mate, then faced Edward.
He didn’t say anything, but Edward knew he’s listening and proceeded.
“The ex-alpha of Black-Knight escaped” he dropped the bombshell.
Wymond’s pupils narrowed and Edward was forced to take a step away from him.
“How did that bloody happened?” Wymond asked quietly yet angrily.
“According to the guards, they were suddenly surrounded by a very dark mist… ”
“A black mist?”
“Yes, your Majesty” he answered. “And one of the guards was mysteriously consumed by fire, they only find out the alpha’s missing after the commotion”
Wymond furrowed his eyebrows at Edward’s explanation and frowned deeply.
“Someone is using black magic in my region? How did that fuçking happened?!” he growled lowly.
“You’re right, your Majesty, someone’s using black magic, because we’ve searched everywhere but couldn’t find the alpha -I guess someone rescued him using black magic”
Wymond growled.
“Incompetence!” he growled. “Fuçk! I’ve left a loophole!” he balled his fist tighter as he felt the urge to punch someone or something.
Edward noticed this and quickly took a few steps away from Wymond -he frowned in confusion.
“But, your Majesty, your spells have always been flawless” he put a finger under his chin thoughtfully. “How come there was a loophole this time? How were they able to undo your spell and gain access into the dungeon?” Edward wondered aloud.
Wymond growled at Edward immediately he asked those questions, his eyes started changing colors and the veins on his neck his became visible as his chest rise and fall in great anger.
Edward noticed this and knew at once that his King would explode any minute, he quickly moved closer to him.
“It’s too crowdy here, please control your anger” he said.
His eyes moved around briefly and he turned back to his King.
“There are a lot of pups here, you wouldn’t wanna scare them and…” he shut up immediately Wymond snarled at him.
“Enough! We’re going back to the palace!”

A frown appeared on my face when I looked towards Wymond, it seemed as though he and Edward are arguing over something, no, it seemed like he’s angry and Edward’s trying to calm him down.
When did Edward arrive? And what did he tell Wymond that got him angry?
“Please hurry up” I urged the attendant as she was helping me unbuckle the safety belts -thankfully, I’ve had enough of the rollercoaster.
I tried to listen to their conversation, but there’s too much noise and I couldn’t pick out any meaningful word.
“It’s done” she informed me after she’s done.
I hopped off without wasting a second and jogged towards them.
I snatching a bottle of water from the bench Wymond was sitting and took a few gulps, then wiped my mouth with the back of my palm before facing both of them.
“Your highness” Edward greeted me, I smiled at him in response.
“Hey, what’s wrong?” I asked Wymond, nudging his arm slightly.
“We’re heading back to the palace” was all he said.
My expression changed as I frowned at his reply, I turned to Edward quizzically.
“Heading back?” I asked him.
He sighed and nodded, then I turned back to Wymond.
“Why are we heading back? Didn’t we just get here?” I grabbed the hem of his shirt and tugged it. “Let’s stay for a few more minutes, we can’t go yet because there are still a lot of things I wanna show you”
He snatched his shirt from me and my frown deepened a little bit.
“We are going back!” he said firmly.
“What’s wrong with you? Why are you being so rigid and unreasonable?”
He clenched his jaw at my words and shut his eyes momentarily as he took in deep breaths.
“We came here to have fun which we haven’t even started yet, and you want us to leave already?”
Edward pulled my blouse to get my attention, I turned to him and he shook his head slowly, then mouth a few words to me which sounded like.
“Don’t provoke him, something’s gone wrong”
But I ignored Edward’s warning and grabbed Wymond’s hand.
“Wymond….”
He snapped his eyes open and snatched his hand from me.
“I don’t have time for your drama because I have more important things to do at the moment, so don’t push your luck” he gritted out.
More important things to do? I’m his mate for fuçk sake, what could be more important than me?
I folded my arms on my chest stubbornly, then stomped my left leg on the ground and raised my head up.
“I’m not going back just yet and I don’t understand your mood swings, one minute you’re hot and the other minutes you’re cold”
“Shut up and come with me!” he growled.
But I didn’t listen and I even ignored all the signals Edward was giving me -mostly because I don’t understand.
“What is wrong with you? Are you not sick of being a wood? You’re….”
My words were stuck in my throat, when Wymond’s hand suddenly went around my neck and lifted me off my feet. His grip tightened and I felt as if he’s blocked my air lung.
“Y-your….” Edward tried to say something, but only a glare from Wymond shut him up.
He turned back to me, his eyes have started flicking colors like they did when I first met him as he looked directly in my eyes.
“Enough of your childishness!” he growled in my face.
I was already choking by now, I tapped his hand to let me go but he just tightened his grip even more.
“You made me indulge in your childishness, now look what has happened because of you!” he yelled.
I could see a few people watching us from the corner of my eye, I tried to signal Wymond to stop, before people would start gathering around but he didn’t listen to me.
His grip was so tight that I couldn’t take it anymore, I would lose consciousness if he doesn’t let me go.
Wait, how come he’s not feeling any of my pains right now? Aren’t mates supposed to feel each other’s pains and emotions?
*That’s only gonna happen after mating, which we haven’t done yet* Amy said.
I squeezed my eyes to hold back my scream.
*There’s a lot of things that can only happen after we mate* I grumbled mentally.
Wymond’s eyes are void of every emotions at the moment, but one emotion was still there -frustration.
I glanced at Edward for help.
“Your Majesty…” Edward cleared his throat. “… you’re hurting her” he said.
Wymond closed his eyes and let go of me, I fell in a thud and groaned loudly.
“Are you crazy?” I barked at him.
He ignored me and stormed off somewhere.
Edward helped me up, he handed me his hanky to wipe my wrist that was injured from scrapping the ground during my fall.
“Are you ok, your highness?” he asked.
I nodded, but hissed quietly.
“What is wrong with him? Weren’t we just fine a moment ago?” I wondered aloud.
“Your highness, I think you misinterpreted the atmosphere” he said.
“What?” I asked.
“Something very bad happened at the palace, something that had never happened before and it’s kinda a mockery to his Majesty’s power” he explained.
“Oh?”
Something very bad? What could that be bad? That almost made him kill his mate?
“And besides, I also think you’re taking things too fast”
“Taking what too fast?” I asked in a calmer and quiet tone this time.
“Trying to change His Majesty, you’re taking it too fast” he said.
“I’m too fast? Wasn’t he catching up?”
Edward shook his head.
“He’s trying to catch up with you but you’re going too fast, sometimes you should to take a step back and let him catch his breath”
“But…”
“Let’s go or his Majesty will get angrier than he already is” he said and rushed towards the direction Wymond went.
Not knowing what to do, I took a deep breath and rushed after them.
