Cassandra wanted to punch Daniel on his handsome face. She can’t believe that her date will believe his lies. Of course, she’s not married, she didn’t even have a boyfriend because Daniel kept pestering her all her life.
She and Daniel have been friends since they were young. She witnessed how Daniel changed a woman in his life through his clothing but she didn’t mind it because she was not affected by what he was doing.
“Stop pestering me, Daniel! I want to experience having an intimate relationship,” Cassandra complained.
The waiter went near their table and gave Cassandra her new food. She looked at the creamy dish that Daniel ordered for her.
“I’m not pestering you. I don’t want you to experience getting hurt because of some asshole,” Daniel reasoned.
Cassandra’s taste got bitter and even sour. She wanted to say something but she couldn’t. She loves their friendship and she can’t gamble on everything. She knows that Daniel was not too serious to have a relationship with someone.
“As if I’m not hurting,” Cassandra whispered and tasted the food.
Daniel was stunned after hearing her words. He can’t believe that Cassandra’s experienced being heartbroken like him.
“Do you love someone else? Did you experience getting hurt for loving someone so bad?” Daniel asked her to stop tasting her food.
Cassandra secretly swallowed hard. She thought that Daniel didn’t hear her words but she was wrong.
“Of course,” Cassandra faintly smiled at him. She wanted to tell Daniel that anytime he had a girlfriend she was secretly hurting.
“What? How?” Daniel panicked. He never thought that Cassandra would be in love with someone. He wanted to find that man as soon as possible.
“Daniel, I’m a woman, seriously, I’m secretly in love with someone but I know he’s not in love with me,” Cassandra was mourning her love for Daniel.
Daniel rapidly drinks the water. He feels like he was ready to murder someone. He always protected Cassandra and even his brothers didn’t have a chance to be with her so how did Cassandra fall in love with someone else!
How did this happen? Is it one of his brothers? He will do everything to know who Cassandra is in love with. If he found out that the man is one of his brothers, he doesn’t care! Cassandra is for him only.
“Who is that man?” Daniel’s face was darkened. He wanted to interrogate her.
Cassandra faked her cough and looked at the man who secretly broke her heart.
“You don’t need to know, Daniel. So, what happens to Kristi right now?” Cassandra avoids answering him.
“She’s fine. And let me tell you that Benjamin was in love with my sister,” Daniel overreacted. He thought that Cassandra had a crush on his brother-in-law. He still remembered how Cassandra peeked at Benjamin.
“What? You’re overreacting! I know that he is married,” Cassandra can’t believe that Daniel thought that she liked his brother-in-law.
“I’m just reminding you,” Daniel defensively told her.
Cassandra rolled her eyes and looked at him with piercing eyes. And now she realized that Daniel didn’t even know that she was in love with him.
Cassandra’s face turns sour and sad. Why didn’t Daniel even appreciate her as a woman? She wanted to experience having a date with him and even taste his lips. Why does Daniel treat her like a teenager?
“You don’t need to. I know that Benjamin was in love with Kristi and if you think that I had a crush on him. You’re wrong,” Cassandra’s voice was mad. She was tired of everything. She feels disappointed that Daniel didn’t even feel her love for him.
“Why are you acting defensively?” Daniel’s forehead creased. He was confused as to why Cassandra was mad after hearing it. Does he trigger something?
“I’m not defensive, Daniel,” Cassandra answered back. She slowly stood up without finishing her food.
“You should eat everything on your plate, you always skip your meals whenever you’re in the hospital,” Daniel’s voice was full of concern. Of course, he didn’t want her to get sick!
“I’m alright, I will eat again after my working hours,” Cassandra didn’t even glance at him and walked straight to the exit door.
Daniel followed her so fast. He grabbed her hand and looked into her eyes.
“Why are you acting like this? Are you heartbroken that I disturbed your date?” Daniel panicked. He despised being treated like this. He wanted Cassandra’s attention only for him.
“I’m thankful that you disturbed my date today,” Cassandra said and wanted to be free from Daniel’s grasp but Daniel didn’t allow her.
Daniel gulped when he saw Cassandra’s reddened lips. He wanted to taste it so bad but he didn’t want her to get scared of him. He knows that Cassandra was aware of how he played with someone’s feelings. Women were like his clothing but all he needs is Cassandra. He was secretly in love with his best friend.
“Alright, let’s have a date today?” Daniel asked her happily. He holds her hand tightly.
Cassandra was shocked after hearing what Daniel told her. Do her ears keep tricking her again?
‘If this is a dream, I don’t want to wake up,’ Cassandra thought.
Her heart kept beating fast because of how Daniel looked at her. She feels that Daniel was in love with her even though he’s not.
“Don’t play with me, Daniel. You know I never experienced dating someone,” Cassandra was taken aback. She thought that Daniel wanted to play with her. Is she willing to play with him too?
“I want to date you, why are you willing to date someone but you’re not willing to date me?” Daniel complained. His heart was ripping and he wanted to force Cassandra to date him.
Cassandra chuckled and looked at him happily. She wanted to pinch his face but she stopped herself. She knows that Daniel dislikes a clingy woman so she can’t be clingy to him.
“Fine, let’s have a date. I wanted to enjoy it,” Cassandra surrendered herself. If Daniel wants to play with her, she will make sure that Daniel will fall in love with her.
“Are you sure? Don’t prank me. I’m serious about having a date with you,” Daniel says.
Cassandra nodded her head. She smiled at him, making Daniel stop his world. Daniel was secretly smitten by her charms and he will do everything to make Cassandra fall in love with him.
“Don’t you dare disappoint me, Daniel,” Cassandra said. She smiled at him sweetly and grabbed his nape. Cassandra moves her face too close to Daniel’s face.
“W-What are you doing, Cassandra?” Daniel wanted to punch himself because he stuttered. He was stunned that Cassandra’s face was too close to him. He wanted to taste her lips but he stopped himself.
“You know, I want to experience having a boyfriend, maybe you can help me?” Cassandra playfully whispered. She moves too close again making Daniel feel her breathing.
Daniel wanted to gasp and felt the desire to claim her lips.
‘Sh”t! This is not good, Daniel. You will lose this chance, come on! Calm your d*ck dude,” Daniel reminds himself.
Daniel moved away and gently touched Cassandra’s lip with his hand. After that, he sucked the finger that he used in front of her.
Cassandra’s face reddens and feels embarrassed about what Daniel did.
“Don’t tease me, or else, you’ll regret it,” Daniel warned her. He took her hand and planted a soft kiss on her hand. He even sucked her finger while looking at her.
Cassandra feels something on her body tingling. Something wanted to explode on her body which she wanted to experience.
She wasn’t aware that she bit her lips. She calms her nerves.
“I love how you sucked it,” Cassandra said to tease him more. Daniel’s eyes darkened after hearing her words.
