Cassandra wanted to compliment herself for coming across as overly self-assured in front of Daniel. Even though her heart continues to beat quickly as if she just heard something.
“Cassandra, get yourself together!” Cassandra reminded herself, “Don’t let him see that you approve of what he was doing.”
She dislikes losing because it makes her feel like she was playing a game with Daniel. She gave Daniel a longing gaze as they exchanged looks.
“You seem to enjoy sucking me, so perhaps I might lick you as well,” Cassandra said.
Daniel bit his lip as he gazed longingly at her. He wanted to hit the wall with his head to stop having visions of Cassandra licking him. Hearing her flirtatious tone, he starts boning up right away.
Daniel said, “Cassandra,” sounding like he was admonishing her once more. He can’t believe Cassandra was making advances on him.
Cassandra questioned him, “Oh, why Daniel, did you envision me licking you?”
Daniel swiftly gave Cassandra a firm hug, which caused her to scream. For Cassandra to feel what is going on inside his thoughts, Daniel even presses his center.
Daniel’s hushed remark, “Did you feel it? You should quit luring me,” caused Cassandra’s eyes to widen.
Cassandra turned out to be guilty. Despite her inexperience, she understands what Daniel is trying to communicate to her. Her face turns crimson.
Oh no, Cassandra continues, “I’m not starting to seduce you, Daniel. But let’s go on a date first. I want to try it.”
Daniel loosened his grip on her and nodded. She smiles at Daniel with a gorgeous face.
Daniel reassured her, “Baby, whatever you desire, you’ll get it,”
He firmly clutches her hand in his own.
Daniel’s eyes widened in surprise when Cassandra continued in her flirtatious tone, “Really, and I want to spend a night with you,”
Along with her husband Benjamin, Kristi dined at the restaurant. She was gracefully moving when she noticed her brother Daniel with Cassandra. Her lips were in a straight line, and she immediately raised an eyebrow.
Benjamin kindly questioned his wife, “Miss Ice, what do you prefer to eat?” His forehead wrinkled, but Kristi didn’t even flinch.
Suddenly, he starts to feel jealous that Kristi was seeking someone, but when he realized who she was looking for, he sighed and relaxed his nerves.
Benjamin is tempted to ask his wife, “Did Daniel have a relationship with Cassandra?” He understands that Cassandra’s first glimpse at him led Daniel to overreact.
Kristi told him straight up, “I dunno, just mind your own business.”
Benjamin pursed his lips and turned to face his wife. He was only interested in learning more about his brother-in-law, so why does his wife constantly use sarcasm with him?
“Love, you’re hurting me,” Benjamin remarked while kissing her cheeks.
After Benjamin kissed her in front of others, Kristi was taken aback because she is aware of how much Benjamin detests public displays of affection-or maybe she was mistaken-because she recalled that on their first date, he even kissed her neck!
“Why do you have a too-sweet disposition today? Are you ill?” Kristi has to ask him that. After she left him three years ago, she is aware that Benjamin was still upset with her. She thinks Benjamin’s behavior raised an important problem.
“What? Of course, I’m not sick,” says Benjamin, upset with his wife for treating him that way. When they entered the restaurant, he felt resentful since he could see the man was stunned by his wife. Nobody else was permitted to gaze at Kristi like that; she was his!
Kristi didn’t bother herself to talk. She saw how her brother gave Cassandra a flirtatious grin. She knows that Daniel was secretly in love with Cassandra, and Cassandra feels the same too but they’re too dense to feel that. She looks at Benjamin who’s looking at her with upset in his eyes.
“Why are you looking at me that way? Are you mad at me because I asked you that way?”
Benjamin looked away. He pouted his lips like a kid. Why does Kristi look like a nagging mother to her child? He stopped when their past haunt him again.
Kristi changed a lot, not physically but emotionally. She wasn’t the Kristi that he loves, three years ago.
Benjamin was stunned when Kristi walked toward Daniel. He saw how Daniel looked at him with murderous eyes. He slowly swallowed because he can’t even breathe properly. Why didn’t Daniel like him for Kristi? Why does he want Shaun for Kristi?
“Daniel, I didn’t know that you were doing something sweet in the mall,” Kristi looked at Cassandra who bowed her head. She smirked at her brother who had a panic on his handsome face.
Benjamin looked away when he wanted to laugh. He was amazed at how Kristi humiliated her brother. He stopped himself to laugh, he knows that Daniel will punch him as he always wished.
Daniel pretended his cough. He took a peek at Cassandra who was biting her lips to prevent herself from grinning. Why does Kristi need to embarrass him in front of Cassandra? He cared for Kristi, but he wished that Kristi would give him privacy.
“What are you doing here, Kristi? Why are you with that dog? Where is Shaun?” With hatred on his face, Daniel glared at Benjamin. Every time he sees Benjamin’s face, he finds it unpleasant.
When Benjamin heard Daniel refer to him as a dog, his eyes grew wide. He will be the cutest dog in the entire world if he is a dog.
“Daniel, Shaun was preoccupied today. Why do you address me in such a way as if I am his mother when you are his friend?”
After hearing what Kristi stated, Cassandra laughed. The most brutal person she had ever encountered was Kristi. She is aware that Kristi was unaware of how frequently she used sarcasm.
Daniel sighed. Despite how much he cares for her, why must he find her sister so challenging?
“Benjamin is not a dog, either. After a year, I don’t want you to call me a frog, so you should examine your eyes,” Daniel massaged his head. Despite his sister’s behavior, he intended to embarrass Benjamin. Kristi’s smile towards him was visible to him. He now recognizes that he was at blame for intimidating her husband.
“Hmm, We’re here because I want to eat something delicious. I am happy to see you brother, you should treat me to a meal,”
“Kristi, why should I treat you to a meal? You have a lot of money, spend it,” Daniel rolled his eyes.
“Then, I will tell Cassandra that she needs to stop flirting with you. You are stingy!”
Daniel was taken aback after hearing his sister’s words. He’s not stinky! Kristi was richer than him, why did he need to treat her to a meal?
“I never thought that Daniel was stingy,” Cassandra shakes her head as if she was disappointed in Daniel. She knows how to act, of course, she will be teamed up with Kristi! She was happy about bullying Daniel after he shoo away her date.
“Stingy? I am a Gamboa!” Daniel shouted in a defensive tone. But the two women just laughed at him.
“Cassandra, I’m just saving a lot of money for our future, is it bad?”
A moment of silence…
Cassandra and Kristi stopped laughing after hearing it. Even the customers of the restaurant looked at Daniel with amazement in their stares.
Daniel thought the world ended after what he had confessed. He looked at Kristi who looked at her like he was kidding.
“Miss Ice, let’s leave them. They wanted to have a date, let’s not disturb your brother,” Benjamin pulled Kristi to the exit door. He looked at Daniel who was still in shock.
“Daniel, you’re talking about our future. We didn’t have a label for our relationship. We’re best friends,” Cassandra finally got the courage to speak. She wanted to jump in joy after hearing what Daniel admitted but she needed to act like she didn’t even like it.
“But Cassandra, you kept flirting with me before Kristi showed up! You say that you wanted a one night with me,”
“Because you started flirting at me, stop being ridiculous, Daniel!”
“You should take responsibility for your actions! From now on, we will start dating each other. Let’s talk about our future,” Daniel declared, making Cassandra’s lips part.
Kristi looked at her husband without emotion in her eyes. She can’t believe that Benjamin pulled her out of the restaurant. Benjamin didn’t even get the guts to look at her.
“What’s your problem? Benjamin, how dare you! I wanted to eat that expensive food!” Kristi shouted like she was ready to knock him out.
“Kristi, don’t be like that. I thought I’m your favorite food. You can eat me whenever you want to,” Benjamin pulled her, and quickly claimed her lips.
Kristi can’t believe that Benjamin kissed her again at the public place!
