Antonio expected what Benjamin told him. After all, he hid his love and desire for Kristi for almost three years. His friend, Benjamin, didn’t even know it.
“You think I’m flirting with her, but why did you marry her?” Antonio wanted to fight for his ambitions and he didn’t care if Benjamin was his friend.
“Whatever you did, you can’t take Kristi away from me, Antonio,” Benjamin used his business tone. He wanted to punch Antonio for breaking his trust. However, Antonio didn’t even care about his feelings for sure.
“You told me that Kristi cheated on me, is that true? Or you’re lying about it?” Benjamin remembered how Antonio told him that his wife cheated on him.
Antonio shrugged his shoulders. He looked at Benjamin with playful stares. He was fuming mad that Benjamin decided to marry Kristi.
“You know that she married Alessandro, right? Then ask yourself if I’m lying,” Antonio replied.
Benjamin knotted his fist. He wanted to know the truth but he was heartbroken when Antonio broke his trust big time.
“Stay away from my wife. From now on, you’re not my friend anymore,” Benjamin announced.
Antonio chuckled and looked at him with disbelief. He can’t believe that Benjamin decided to break their friendship.
“Man, I won’t stay away from her. Are you feeling threatened?” Antonio sarcastically asks him, making Benjamin’s forehead crease.
“You know that she was married to me, ” Benjamin seriously reminded him.
“And then what? There’s a divorce process in this country! I was secretly in love with her even though I found out that she was pregnant by you,” Antonio bluntly told him.
Benjamin was stunned after knowing his secrets. He can’t believe that he was deceived by his friend.
Daniel went to his office when he received a call. He immediately answers it without even thinking.
“What happened?” Daniel asked the caller.
“Madam Cassandra went on a date today,” The caller said. Daniel quickly ended the call, his eyes were fierce and he can’t recall how he felt. His heart keep squeezing like he wanted to murder Cassandra’s date.
“Cassandra,” he murmured her name. He looked at the screen of his cellphone when he received Cassandra’s location.
Cassandra was smiling faintly on her date. She wanted to curse her friends for betraying her. She thought something bad happened to her friend but they planned to have a blind date.
“You’re beautiful, Cassandra,” The man kept telling her how beautiful she was, making Cassandra grit her teeth.
“Oh, thank you,” Cassandra fakes her smile. Why did her friends want her to have a date? She was happy in her life! She doesn’t need a man to rely on because she was successful.
Cassandra glanced at the entrance door and he saw Daniel’s figure going into the restaurant where they were eating. Her eyes automatically went bigger so she smiled sweetly at the man in front of her. She acted sweet and like she was happy for having a date.
She feels Daniel’s presence who’s looking at them with seriousness in his eyes. The man in front of Cassandra didn’t even glance at Daniel, his eyes were on Cassandra’s beautiful face.
Daniel fakes his coughing and raises his eyebrow. When he found out that Cassandra was on the date, he immediately went to her place. He dislikes the idea that Cassandra was having her intimate date with an unknown stranger. Why Cassandra didn’t acknowledge him as a man?
“Oh, Daniel,” Cassandra acted like she was shocked to see him. She smiled and looked at the man in front of her.
“Cassandra, you have a date?” Daniel asked her even though he knows the answer.
Cassandra nodded her head. They are both shocked when Daniel sits on the available chair at their table.
“What are you doing? Daniel, I’m having a date right now, please,” Cassandra smiled at the man in front of her while talking to Daniel, making Daniel’s forehead crease.
“I don’t even know that you love dating someone, Cass. If I know it, I’ll date you whenever you want,” Daniel bluntly told her. He looks at the man with his brutal eyes. Why does he feel like he wanted to kill that man?
“Daniel, please I wanted to enjoy my date today. Can you leave us alone?” Cassandra almost rolled her eyes. She was thankful that Daniel went to her because she wanted to leave her date instantly but she needs to act as if she likes dating in front of Daniel.
Daniel pursed his lips and just looked straight at the woman who was hard-headed like his sister. He wanted to know why Cassandra accepted this blind date?
“Cassandra, we should go home,” Daniel says.
The man stopped eating and looked at him with frustration in his eyes.
“Dude, we’re enjoying our date here. Can you please stop disturbing us?” The man said in dismay. He looked at Cassandra and smiled at her again.
“I’m not disturbing you. Cassandra didn’t even like her food,” Daniel stated. He looked at her plate making Cassandra’s eyes go bigger.
The man looked at her plate too, making Cassandra grit her teeth in embarrassment. She sighed and looked away.
“Cassandra, is he telling the truth? You don’t like the food that I ordered for you?” The man asked her.
Daniel was telling the truth. Cassandra didn’t even taste the food that her date ordered because she dislikes spicy dishes.
“It’s alright, I like the food,” Cassandra says, making Daniel raised his eyebrows again. Daniel stopped himself to grin.
“Dude, did you hear what she said? She likes the food that I ordered. Will you please leave us alone?” The man was irritated because Daniel disturbed their date.
He likes Cassandra after seeing her and he wanted to grab this opportunity to know her more.
“You like the food? Then taste it,” Daniel commanded Cassandra. He knows that Cassandra was lying.
“Dude, leave us alone!” The man shouted in frustration. He feels that Daniel was right because he remembered that Cassandra didn’t even taste the food that he ordered.
“You should eat now, you said that you like the food but you didn’t even taste a little bit,” Daniel used his business tone and looked at the man with a grin.
He was proud of himself that he knows Cassandra more than the man that she was dating. He will do everything to stop their dating.
He was mentally frustrated, he was always available for her. If Cassandra wants a date then he will date her immediately. He will do whatever she wants to.
“Shut up, Daniel,” Cassandra looked at him with angry eyes. She wanted to punch him but seeing Daniel chuckle at her made her heart melt.
“Leave us alone, please,” The man’s voice was full of discomfort. He looked at Daniel like he was intimidating but Daniel didn’t even look in his eyes.
“You know, it’s disrespectful that you date someone married,” Daniel says, making the man gasp. He didn’t know that Cassandra was married, he thought she was single.
“Stop lying, Daniel,” Cassandra stopped him to say more.
“Come on. Stop this fucking date, Cassandra. Stop pushing my limits or else,” Daniel bluntly told her.
“This woman was married. And I’m here to fetch my wife since she’s dating you,” Daniel added, making Cassandra want to pull his hair.
