“Stop it.” Sidney put the magazine down, “Why did you come here?”
“I’m not feeling at ease.” Kaitlyn’s expression became a bit more serious, she was not lying, “I am worried about you keeping a mistress, so I decided to rush over to check on you.”
Suddenly, she raised a smile, “When a man and a woman start living together, others would think a lot.”
She then glanced at Aubree who was standing aside, her main purpose for coming today was to let Aubree know that in the future, she will be Sidney’s wife and the mistress of this house.
Aubree could understand the hidden meaning behind her words, and since Kaitlyn also used some shameful words, Aubree could not stand her anymore.
“I’m leaving.” She picked up her bag and headed out.
Before Sidney had time to react, Kaitlyn gave him a kiss, not giving him a chance to speak.
Deep in Kaitlyn’s heart, she knew that Sidney was sophisticated, she never knew what he was thinking about. However, one thing certain was that he loved her, not to mention that he needed the support from the Marsh Family. This aspect alone was enough for her to keep Sidney by her side.
However, now that there was a lovely girl standing in between them, she could no longer be as calm as usual.
At first, Aubree wanted to meet up with Riley but Sidney did not agree to it. However, after what happened, she was now free.
Riley had already received his driver’s license, and he drove a cool sports car and stopped in front of Aubree.
“Let’s go, let me take you for a ride!” Riley really loved his car, after all, it was the first car he ever bought in his life.
Aubree was a little afraid to sit, stammering, “Riley, you just got your license and you already want to drive this kind of sport car, you are sure you can handle it?”
“I’ve been driving for at least two months, okay? Just quickly get in, I want to let you see something exciting!”
Riley’s mood today seemed to be particularly good. Since Aubree did not want to disturb his mood, and she also wanted to forget everything bad that had happened in the house just now, so she made up her mind and got on the car.
“Where are you taking me?” Aubree saw that he was actually driving quite steadily, and was relieved.
He glanced at his watch, “It’s six o’clock, at seven thirty there is a racing competition, I asked a friend to get two VIP seats. Since you have not been out for a long time, I decided to bring to see something exciting.”
Aubree actually did not know much about racing; she only saw it on TV. Now that they were going to see it live, she felt a little bit nervous.
Riley bought her to have dinner first, and when it was almost time, they took the VIP lane and entered the venue.
Aubree looked around the venue and inadvertently saw Hendrix’s parents in the first few rows, she was shocked and rubbed her eyes, thinking that she saw wrongly.
After all, she had only seen Hendrix once two years ago so she could not remember exactly how he looked like.
However, it was not until the moment she saw Pippa smiling and running to them, handing them the bottle of water in her hand, that Aubree finally believed her eyes.
She asked Riley in confusion, “Why are Hendrix’s parents and Pippa both here?”
Riley smiled awkwardly, his eyes averting her, “This is a least a national level competition, it is inevitable that many people will come to see it.”
Aubree sensed something strange, but seeing Riley trying to dodge her questions, she decided not to ask.
The race was about to start, all the racers have entered, each racer will be given a close-up through the big screen. Aubree was still wondering why Hendrix’s parents would come but Hendrix himself was nowhere to be seen, until the big screen flashed Hendrix’s handsome figure.
Only then did it dawn on Aubree that Hendrix had entered this competition!
So, the VIP tickets that Riley said he got from a friend, did he ask Hendrix for them?
Aubree was about to question Riley, not knowing if Riley did this on purpose. As she was about to reach out to him, Riley suddenly stood up, whistling excitingly as he looked at Hendrix who was on the race track.
When he whistled, he caused Hendrix to look at this way. Aubree’s brain immediately went blank, and she lowered her head in panic, not wanting to be seen by him.
Aubree was afraid that if he saw her, it would affect his mood during the competition.
After all, he hated her.
