“Uncle Sidney, why they always bully us?” After Aubree observed for a while, she knew that Sidney’s brothers were bullying him.
“You should remember that no matter how well people treat you, you shouldn’t get close to them easily. Everyone is two-faced, you never know who treats you sincerely.”
Although Aubree did not know why Sidney talked so, she felt that his words were rational as she looked at the people in front of her and nodded, “I will remember your words, Uncle Sidney.”
She admired Sidney. In her opinion, Uncle Sidney was the most perfect person in the world.
After eating dinner, everyone left. Sidney did not have a close relationship with his father, they did not speak even a word to each other.
Aubree seldom got to know the thing that happened in his family. She felt happy when Sidney was not depressed.
The private plane landed at the garden behind, there was a wide field here. Steward Martin had been waiting for her on the plane.
“Uncle Sidney, do I really have to leave?” Aubree hesitated before she got up the plane, she thought that Kaitlyn was not a simple woman. Was it alright if they just left without notice?
Sidney helped her to get up the plane, “The purpose I bring you here has been accomplished, there is nothing important anymore.”
Aubree thought for a while, looked at him surprisingly, “Uncle Sidney, you bring me here just to teach me those words?”
Sidney smiled, did not answer. His target was about to achieve but nobody knew how guilty he felt to make use of Aubree in the process.
It was afternoon when the plane arrived at her country. The weather in B Country was rainy but the weather in her country was sunny.
After Aubree went back home and rested for a few days, she had nothing to do and felt bored.
In the past, she spent her holiday to do revision. However, the exam had finished now, she did not have a target anymore, she felt bored.
She flipped the book boringly, a message popped out on her phone. She looked at her phone, it was the message from her classmate.
“Tonight, 10 o’clock, graduation, LM Bar, must come,” the monitor said.
Once the message was sent, everyone made a stir in the group chat. Some people said a lot of graduates went to the LM Bar to have prom night, it was excellent. Some people said that it was not good for students to gather in the bar. Aubree was the latter but she did not say.
Sidney usually would not allow her to join this kind of gathering, it was even held at night. So, she did not read the messages anymore.
Just then, Riley Harris called her out of the blue.
“Aubree, do you need me to pick you up tonight?”
“No need, I may not go,” Aubree had thought of the expression of Sidney that he was going to reject.
“If you don’t want to join the past gathering, it is okay but tonight is our graduation night, we have been in the same class for three years. It is hard to have a gathering in the future.”
Aubree hesitated for a few seconds, she thought that Riley was a bit weird. It seemed like she must go but she felt that his words were rational.
“I will message you after I get permission from Uncle Sidney.”
“Okay.”
After Aubree hung up the phone, it was 6 o’clock. Usually, Sidney would have come back at that time.
She walked downstairs from her study room and waited for him at the sofa. It was almost 7 pm, Sidney had not yet come back.
“Everly, will Uncle Sidney come back and eat dinner?” Aubree asked Everly.
Everly stopped her work and thought for a while, “He said that he is busy tonight, probably will come back after 12 am. I have forgotten it.”
“Miss, you could eat first. No need to wait for him,” Everly placed the meal on the dining table.
Aubree held her phone, thought for a long time, should she call Sidney? If she asked him on the phone, he must not agree to let her join the party.
What if…Aubree got an idea out of the blue. Although it was a bad idea, she was ready to go there stealthily, did not inform Sidney and came back before 12 am.
Aubree went to her room and put on a dress. She put on the high heel shoes that seldom wore delightedly and made up.
“Everly, I have a graduation party tonight. I don’t want to eat here,” she dressed like this for the first time, she was slightly excited.
“Miss, does master know about this?” Everly looked at her with worry.
