At Hudson Mansion.
Aubree rested for a few days and was told to lie in bed the whole time. Sidney didn’t allow her to get out of bed. Even when he wasn’t home, Everly was there to supervise her. Aubree felt bored out of her mind.
“Everly, I’ve been in bed for so long now. Can I at least take a shower?” Aubree showed Everly her injured leg.
“It’s almost fully recovered, I probably can run and jump about now.”
Everly shook her head, she didn’t dare to let Aubree get out off the bed since it was the young master’s order.
Aubree was a bit annoyed. Everly would let her do anything she wanted by now if it wasn’t for Uncle Sidney’s stupid order.
She thought for a bit and said, “Everly, I want some peach gum desert. Could you maybe make me a bowl?’
Everly’s maternal instinct kicked in the moment she heard that Aubree wanted to eat something. She immediately forgot about the young master’s order and went downstairs to prepare Aubree the dessert.
Aubree chuckled. Everly loved her dearly and it was easy to trick her.
As Everly walked away, Aubree started to feel excited. She slowly got off the bed and walked into the bathroom. She wanted to take a long warm bath and hence she locked the bathroom door from inside so that Everly couldn’t bother her.
“It feels good…” Aubree felt so good she felt like melting the moment she stepped into the bath.
She closed her eyes and imagined herself dressed up all pretty and was travelling overseas. She always wanted to go travel overseas because her classmates often talked about their travels to foreign countries. She was excited, she could finally go travelling with Uncle Sidney.
She then felt asleep unknowingly.
After some time, she vaguely heard somebody calling out her name. She was half-asleep and only regained consciousness after a bit.
She stayed in the bath for too long and felt faint and dizzy. She wasn’t feeling very well and her body was feeling numb.
She took a deep breath and tried to get out of the bathtub.
Just when she was about to put her foot down!
A loud crash could then be heard!
The bathroom door was forcefully kicked open! Sidney rushed in without notice!
Their eyes met and they were both stunned in place.
There was only some foam covering parts of Aubree’s body. Her exquisite figure and her fair skin were plain in sight. Aubree came back to her senses and quickly covered her chest with her hand. Her face flushed and it was as red as a fire truck!
Sidney couldn’t stand the sweet fragrance coming from Aubree.
The expression in his eyes that were cold and filled with worried was slowly changing. The sensation from the sight went straight to his heart, and then it went between his legs.
He held his breath and turned around. He then grabbed a towel and threw it over to Aubree.
“Cover yourself up!” His voice was low and restrained as if he was trying to suppress something else.
Aubree bit down on her lips and nervously covered herself up with the towel. But then her foot slipped and she lost balance!
“Uncle Sidney!” She was about to face plant to the ground!
Sidney looked back and was shocked. He moved instinctively and held out his hand to grab her!
But…
Aubree didn’t fell onto the ground. She could tell that Sidney froze up and so she froze up too.
She held her breath, worrying that Sidney could feel that her body was getting excited. She was burning up and she felt utterly embarrassed. She felt a tingle in her nose, she didn’t know what to do next.
Sidney frowned seeing that Aubree’s eyes were getting red and she was about to cry. His heartstrings were tugged as if it was being pulled by some unknown force and he couldn’t free himself out of it.
He forced an indifferent expression on his face and covered Aubree up with a towel. He then carried her to the bed.
“Let me know after you’re done drying yourself.” Sidney turned around and left, trying to give Aubree her private space.
“Uncle Sidney,” Aubree called out to him, but she nervously looked down the moment she met his deep and dark eyes.
“No…it’s nothing.”
She wanted to ask if he saw everything just now, but she couldn’t bring herself to ask that.
She dried her body and changed into her pyjamas. Only then she felt relaxed.
“Uncle Sidney, I’m done…” Aubree’s voice trembled slightly as she called out to Sidney.
Sidney opened the door, but he didn’t walk in. His voice sounded a bit angry when he said, “Why didn’t you listen to what I say?”
Aubree didn’t think that this would happen, she only wanted to take a bath. She hugged the pillow in her arms tightly thinking about what happened just now.
“Uncle Sidney, please don’t get mad. I won’t do this again,” said Aubree as she looked at him sincerely.
Sidney noticed that Aubree’s pyjamas had spaghetti straps. Her collarbone and her shoulder were exposed, and he felt the same urge he felt just now in the bathroom again.
