Book:This Is What You Came For Published:2024-5-28

Sidney was surprised by Aubree’s words, especially he knew she was afraid of being left alone by him. In fact, he could not ensure that would not happen forever. He was also greatly worried about the uncertainty.
Sidney turned to be depressed and had a frown, then extending his hands to hold Aubree in his arms.
Last night, Steward investigated into her fighting in school and checked the CCTV as well.
Sidney found Aubree was not a girl any longer.
She started to realize the difference between men and women and get other affection except for that in a family. She was shy when meeting Hendrix Elliott, even allowing Hendrix to hold her. In her previous life, Sidney was the only man to hold her.
This was the most thing to offend him which he refused to admit.
As a result, he tried to talk about another point.
Sidney said, “Aubree, fight as hard as you can.”
Aubree was surprised to hear it and turned to watch him curiously.
He continued to say, “You have to fight back somebody bullying you. Never allow them to stand up.”
Sidney looked at Aubree in earnest while she also opened her eyes wide to watch him. Aubree was born with the sparkling big eyes; as she was growing up, her eyes had been more beautiful. With her in sight right now, Sidney started to have some of chemistry for Aubree, almost deeply obsessed with her.
“Actually, you should not give the other ones a chance to offend you. Understand?”
These short words went into Aubree’s ears. She did not expect him to talk about it and then stopped sobbing.
She asked, “Uncle Sidney, now are you happy?”
Sidney answered, “Yesterday I was unhappy with somebody bullying you.”
He could not suffer from the fact that somebody bullied his lovely Aubree.
Aubree kept the answer in her mind. She was so shocked by the answer that started to tremble, yet unwilling to let Sidney go. However, after many years, she got to realize how silly she was to keep trusting what he said.
Sidney said, “I have to go abroad for a business trip tonight. Keep mobile phone with you.” He should have left last night, but stopped by her accident. He had to go this evening.
Aubree knew Sidney had an extremely busy life; she just wished there was not any thunderstorm when he was taking an international flight.
“I see. I will be here. Safe trip.” she said with face in his arms and twisted her own body like a baby.
Sidney’s part of body was woken up by her. He was embarrassed to act a cough and pushed Aubree away as nothing happened, just walking sideways.
“Let’s have breakfast.”
At the school gate, Aubree was here to meet Hendrix. Now he was looking around to wait for someone.
She lowered her head naturally, trying to go inside among a group of students.
Hendrix recognized her soon and shouted out, “Aubree!” Everyone around them started to look at Aubree.
A lot of female students got jealous now, causing Aubree feel unease.
Hendrix rushed to Aubree; this was a young and handsome boy standing in front of Aubree, especially nice under the beautiful sunshine earlier today. She had never got such an eye contact with another one instead of Sidney; that was not an easy thing to her.
Hendrix asked, “Are you ok yesterday? The teacher is snobbish person.”
Just the moment, students talked, “Read the announcement? Teacher Murray was dismissed?”
“Really? What’s the reason?”
Before Hendrix finishing a talk with Aubree, he ran with some gossip students to read the announcement on a board. Aubree was much astonished to know it, holding her bag belt tight. She started to feel sorry for the teacher.
She believed Sidney made it; he was much angry with her teacher.
Only Hendrix was excited to read it and came back to tell Aubree, “Hey, the guy was fired! We have to celebrate it.”
But she had never realized they would have a celebration for this happening…
“Both of us were hurt by him! Now we are happy to let all go past. How about eating something together after school today?” Hendrix was frank to invite her, though looking some of shy.
Aubree did reply soon. He continued, “You agree in silence! See you after school!” and turned around to go.
Aubree stopped there to see him leaving, bursting into laughter. He was her first friend of the opposite sex; she was also touched by him sometimes.
This was one boring day in school. Hendrix passed some paper slip to Aubree in each class to remind her about the meal tonight. Aubree worried the slips would been read by any others and always rubbed them to throw after class.
It was off time. Hendrix gave her a hand to tidy up and ready to leave school.
When they were getting close to Aubree’s car, the driver was off to open the door for her.
Aubree said, “I am going to eat something in a restaurant. I will call you when I finish it.”
The driver looked at Hendrix; he had been working as Aubree’s driver for years, without seeing she leaving with a male classmate before.
So, he would not like the classmate to take Aubree and asked, “Miss Aubree. Did you tell it to Master Sidney?”
