Monica was chatting with a handsome guy outside. Penelope walked out and saw Monica signaling her to wait for a moment.
Penelope curled her lips and looked around, wandering in the hospital.
This building belonged to the obstetrics department, and it was easy to get to the newborn baby area. Penelope looked at the babies inside through the glass. Some were kicking, and some were sleeping, all very cute.
“Oh…” Penelope moaned, reaching her hand to touch her stomach, feeling her baby turn over.
“Do you want to play with them?” Penelope asked with a smile.
The baby was very active inside, which gave Penelope a special feeling.
“This is Mommy’s stomach, not the playground, so keep quiet,” she whispered.
The baby was probably very excited to see his “peers.” He kept kicking. Penelope couldn’t stand it and had to move away from that area.
Passing the self-service vending machine, Penelope saw Monica flirting with the handsome guy.
Monica pointed to the outside and gestured for her to wait in the parking lot, as she was expecting to talk more.
“Hmm, beauty in front of the eyes, friends aside,” Penelope raised her middle finger. Then she deliberately walked behind the handsome guy and accidentally bumped into his back.
“Are you okay?” The handsome man turned to hold her arm.
Penelope felt embarrassed for a second, then she stared at Monica and swaggered away.
“A weird woman,” the handsome guy remarked, looking back at her.
Monica nodded in agreement. “The temper of pregnant women is very weird. Fortunately, you have a good demeanor.”
The guy smiled and accepted the compliment modestly.
Penelope found the parking lot and began searching one by one along the driveway.
“c157, c157…” Penelope murmured as she walked according to the sign.
Suddenly, she stopped before a Porsche 911.
“Why are you still standing there?” the handsome guy near the car raised his chin gently toward her, and his smile grew.
Penelope curled her mouth and quickly walked a few steps away.
She didn’t like surprises, not at all.
But suddenly, she stopped again, turned around, and headed towards the handsome guy. This time, she was quicker.
Warren was faster than her. He immediately walked up to her.
“Why didn’t you answer my call?” She rushed into his arms and said.
“Battery died.”
His low voice sounded in her ear, and he hugged her.
“I… missed you so much.” Penelope put her ear down on his thick chest and looked down at the ground, her voice filled with longing.
“So I’m here.”
“But you will leave,” she whispered softly.
Warren sighed and kissed her hair. “It was you who left me. Now it’s you who wants me to stay. What should I do to satisfy you?”
“You have to do nothing. Now it’s fine.” She looked up at him, chuckled, and kissed his chin.
He took the opportunity to bow his head just to kiss her lips.
Their lips met, and her eyes widened as if she were shocked.
The temperature of her face instantly rose, and she jumped up as if she had stepped on a hot stone.
“You’re shy now?” He asked with a smile.
“Let’s go, and I’ll show you something!” She rolled her eyes and ran off with him.
“Slow down,” Warren said, looping his arm around her waist to stop her from rushing ahead.
“Hurry up, I can’t wait!”
As they passed the self-service vending machine, Monica saw Penelope pulling a tall man quickly.
“Hey, Penelope!” Monica called out, but Penelope didn’t notice.
Wait, the man just now…
“Monica,” exclaimed the handsome guy behind her, but Monica ran toward the doctor’s office without looking back.
The baby’s father, the baby’s father, is here!
He accompanied Penelope to the doctor’s office, watching her and the doctor briefly exchange a few words. Then, the doctor took out a piece of paper and handed it to her with a smile.
Penelope walked back with a piece of paper and reached for his hand. She said, “This is the baby’s gender. Do you want to know?”
He nodded with a smile.
“Look,” Penelope raised the report, pointing to the word, and asked, “Is it a boy or a girl?”
Warren picked up the paper and asked, “Why don’t you read it yourself?”
“I think this is more fun.”
It also makes more sense.
Warren carefully searched for the gender column. After discovering it, he looked up and found her staring at him as if it were so that she could see the answer.
“Boy or girl?” she asked nervously.
“Boy,” he said.
“Really?” She clenched her fist, her eyes lighting up.
He pointed to the upper column and said, “Here, see?”
Penelope opened the report but didn’t mean to verify it again. She believed him wholeheartedly. Whether it was the proper occasion or not, she hugged him around the neck and shouted excitedly, “I have a boy! I have a boy!”
Dr. Foster looked at Penelope with soft eyes. For a mother, this was a moment worth remembering.
Warren was stunned for a while. He caught the doctor’s gaze, and the doctor said, “She was probably waiting for you to be present before finding out. You should be happy.”
He looked at her, seeing her excitement and happiness. Then he hugged her, but doubts arose from the bottom of his heart.
There was no denying that she liked him, but had they really arrived at this point?
Penelope was still foolishly happy and didn’t notice the fluctuation of his expression.
For someone with such amazing natural insight, he would never let go of any doubts.

Penelope stood in the center of the bedroom and put all kinds of skirts on the bed in front of her. The room was as messy as the owner’s heart.
Monica leaned on the side of the door while biting an apple and said, “You can never go wrong in black.”
Penelope looked at the black skirt and then shook her head and said, “Wearing black for the first date seems unlucky.”
“Then you wear white.”
“Huh?” Penelope raised her eyebrows and looked at her.
“According to your statement, only white is good. The color of the wedding dress is so ‘lucky,'” Monica laughed at her.
Penelope touched her chin, pulled out a red skirt with her fingers, and said, “I’ll wear this one.”
The dark red skirt displayed a kind of low-key aggression.
A pregnant woman wouldn’t dare to wear a large piece of hollow lace. Monica gave her praise.
