Alex’s POV
“Who are these? Tell me! Where did they come from?” I confront Amanda as I search for some clothes to put on to cover my dick. The armed men begins to comb the room as they threaten to fire if I stop them.
“We aren’t here to hurt you. Just get some stuff you wouldn’t give us upon request and take our leave.” One of them says, strapping the gun tightly to his fingers.
“We are masked. And you don’t even know who we are,” another says and laughs in derision, “even if you’ve got a CCTV, you can’t get us. If you try shifting to your wolf, we’d shoot you before you can even throw your head backwards.”
They pick up my smartphone, laptops and many other accessories. They almost deliver a stinging slap to Amanda as she feels uncomfortable by the amount of stuff they’ve stolen.
“You walked in here, armed and ready to fire if I resist you. Take a step out of the room an consider yourselves dead.” I threaten as I fling the shirt in my hands to Amanda.
She quickly puts it on as she stands straight. I can still see her hole but it’s a bit covered anyways. I maintain composure as I don’t want my emotions to control me at this moment.
“We aren’t here for some child play. Let us go and save your lives.” One of them says as they’re done packing all they want now.
“You couldn’t have gotten here without the security’s consent,” I deduce as I scoff at their ignorance, “I need t question them before you take any leave. Amanda, come forward.”
As I instruct Amanda to come forward, I rush to my mind connection as I inform Prady to lead able-bodied warriors to my room in a few seconds. She rapidly responds, “consider it done.”
I get out of my mind link as I see a gun strapped to Amanda’s hands and one man gone.
“Drop your weapons or I splash your skulls against the walls!” She threatens as they slowly drop their weapons. But before the weapons reach the ground, one of them grasps it and fires shots at Amanda. I notice he’s gonna do that and as soon as he grasps the gun, I kick Amanda to the ground, permitting the bullets to hit the walls instead.
I evade the bullets he’s firing at me as well as I hurry to the restroom, aiming to grab a strong weapon. As I grab the door open again, they’re already surrounded with warriors as I sight Prady at a corner. She waves at me, smiling sheepishly as I come out of the restroom.
“This is Andrew and that is Matt, the new employed rulers of the south kingdom. They’ve proven to be traitors and moon goddess doesn’t entertain such.” She says as she retrieves their weapons. She straps one of the guns to her fingers as she continues speaking.
“According to the moon goddess, a traitor is a traitor. A traitor can repent for his sins but will never stop being considered a traitor and such tends to be a greater traitor and a bigger threat to the victim environment in the nearest future,” she says and clears her throat as she walks around them, “we are a strong pack and we follow the orders laid down by the moon goddess. Because of your heinous acts, you’re hereby…” She says and stops.
She straps the gun tighter to her fingers and fires bullets at the two men who are still alive. She aimed their forehead. Immediately the bullets penetrate their skulls, they give up the ghost.
“You aren’t meant to kill anyone inside the room.” I conclude.
She turns to face me, “Alpha, both the one I met laying flat on the ground and the ones I shot, aren’t dead. They are wolves and their wolves are only trying to heal them up now.”
One of them suddenly sniffs as he rises. It’s actually the one who’s laid flat on the ground like a corpse, earlier.
Prady aims the gun at him as I rush at her, pleading that she doesn’t fire at him. She obeys the instruction, claiming it’s because it’s me.
She instructed the men she brought with her to lift their bodies and take them to the pack cell. Once they are healthy, they’ll live in the pack cell all the days of their lives.
“You’re so brave!” I pull Prady into a hug as she drops the gun and receives the warm hug. Amanda picks up the gun and threatens to shoot Prady on the skull if she doesn’t pull out of the hug.
I try to pull out of the hug to make things clear and understand why she’s saying so but Prady endears her to fire a shot at her, while sternly repeating that she won’t pull out until she wants to.
Amanda begins to count from three downwards and she might eventually fire. I release myself from her grip as I warn the two ladies.
“Both of you hold a high position in this pack. Why should you be fighting?” I confusedly ask.
“Said what? Both of who? You should rather compare Nora and I while you compare the omegas with her. What’s she worth?” She nags.
“Do not forget I am still with a gun.” Amanda says, cracking me up suddenly.
There’s actually one more gun on the ground and once I notice Prady’s stares, I kick it away. Amanda hesitates way more than Prady does. If it was Prady threatening to shoot, she’d have shot since.
Both ladies look pretty actually and it’s shameful for them to be engaged in an argument.
“Do you know what? Prady, let me see you. Amanda, excuse us.” I say but she refuses to comply.
“I am not meant to leave the room for no reason. Isn’t that one of the rules you gave to me?” She asks, folding her arms across her chest.
My wolf gets mad suddenly as I scream at her with my Alpha tone: “Excuse me!!!”
She runs out of the room, trembling with fear.
