Dominic’s POV
The security wolves standing by the gateway of Alex’s pack are capable indeed. I had to plead with them not to tie me up to take me to the pack cell as they have all what could dissolve my wolf. I don’t even know Alex has developed his pack up to that. For my own pack, someone else have taken control and I am unable to convince my wolves that I am their previous Alpha who got mad because of too many issues running through my head. I didn’t get mad voluntarily but no one was willing to listen to what I said.
Harley and I have already departed to somewhere far from this vicinity. I lost my pack already. I lost Amanda, Nora and my two kids. Harley is the one really comforting me.
She nudges me behind now, saying, “the master wants to meet everyone.”
We now stay in the woods as I have no option. The master has assumed that everyone in the woods is a rogue but he still bothers to ask.
“If you’re not a banished wolf or long forgotten wolf here, please state. I believe there are only rogues here. I am saying this because I’ll be randomly selecting the wolves to go on a mission soonest.” He says as I sink into Harley’s mind connection.
“Never reveal that you’re an Alpha. Never ever.” She strictly warns.
I gulp as I disconnect the mind connection. I am the next person in line to introduce myself after the dude beside me speaks up.
“George. Moon Rush Pack. Was banished for having sex with the Luna.” He says, “I am willing to go on any mission even if it’s my previous pack.”
I suddenly catch the tip of how the master expects everyone to introduce himself. Only Harley and a sexy lady are female wolves here. Except for them, we are up to twenty male wolves here.
“I am Dominic, banished from Lake Rush pack. I was accused of dissolving the wolf powers of up to hundred wolves in the pack. They endeared me.” I cook up a suitable lie.
“I am Harley. I was also banned with him for being his mate, yet not accusing him of the crime he committed.” She simply says as it went on and on until the last person spoke.
“I am Drake, and I know Dominic and Harley. Dominic is the Alpha of a pack but he was overthroned. For Harley, she is his private stripper. The stripper for the pack actually but for the leader of the pack. You understand me?” He says as I bulge my eyes but bring it back to normalcy as I don’t want to be suspected.
He continues, clearing his voice, “ensure they don’t run away. We can help them but they might not want the help.”
“How do we help them regain the pack?” The master asks but Harley keeps informing me about it looking like a trap and the need to escape on time before we are surrounded.
“For real. Since we combined like this in the woods, we’ve been trying to create a pack of our own but we’re too toxic on our own. So the pack never really existed,” the master informs, clearing his throat before continuing, “but since you have a pack, we can destroy the person trying to mount your position. We’d get it back for you and you do us a favor in return. Which is accomodating all of us here.”
“Thanks for the update but it’s a no. It’s military soldiers, armed heavily, that claimed the position of the Alpha.” I say as Harley shivers, feeling they’d feel upset that I confessed I am an Alpha and lied about it earlier.
“No rogue here can die from gunshot or bomb. We become weak but it takes a lot of gunshot to attain that. We are up to twenty three here. Only five of us are enough.” He says.
“Who then will accommodate her after you leave? I think rogues have a strong distaste for being in packs again.” I say.
“Not rogues like us. If you see, this district of woods was specially created by the moon goddess and she forgives wolves that can find a pack to belong to, withing seven days. The most days anyone here has spent can’t surpass five, so we need to act fast.
“I’ve heard something like this earlier. I mean, about rogues. I read a lot of books. You know?” She whispers into my ears as I nod to the master.
“There are up to seven hundred warriors armed heavily. Are you sure of what you’re saying?” I ask.
“Is the Alpha present in the pack or away for some time?”
“I killed the Alpha but there’s a silver wolf ruling the pack at the moment. And I think she’s the one commanding the warriors to multiply in the pack. Quick one: they’ve renovated the pack and it’s great.” I inform.
“Great. Let’s get the job done. We’d be going by midnight.” He says, “let everyone strengthen himself. If you eventually die from this attack we’re about to lunge at them, it’s your fate.”
“The securities stand by the entrance ways day and night!” I affirm.
“Be positive!! We’re gonna get it back for you.” He slightly raises his voice at me.
“Alright. That’s great,” I say and chuckle.
Harley quickly rushes to meet me as she pulls me into a big hug and I plant a kiss on her forehead as we wait at a corner. One of the rogues, Drake, comes to see us as I almost grapple him to choke him to death but Harley holds me back.
“Why did you expose us? Couldn’t you have said that lowly?” I confront, my tone laced with aggression.
“Just forgive him please. It’s for our benefit. I believe.” Harley says as I sigh and help him up.
I extend my hands to him for handshake and he receives it warmly, bowing his head.
