Dominic’s POV
My eyes look so red as the mirror reveals. What happened overnight?
Oh. I remember that Amanda and Alex with Harley and I reconciled and we were offered drink in glass cups. Were wee poisoned? Drugged?
I hit Harley on her legs but she rolls in bed, the effect of the drugs still active on her. Since she doesn’t want to get up on time, as usual, I drop my trousers and reveal my cock. I divide her legs and penetrate slowly. Damn. Feels so cold.
Her eyes snap open as she waves at air, trying to confirm who is in the room. Probably she drank twice and is being affected twice than I was.
“Wake up. Get up!” I scream at her as I begin to rush my cock inside of her. I suddenly wish she doesn’t return to her consciousness yet as I am currently enjoying her wet pussy.
“What’s this you’re doing, Dominic?” She suddenly asks as she sits up in bed, pushing me to the ground with full force.
Energetic, ain’t? Isn’t that some sort of side effect? Her mouth reeks of alcohol but that doesn’t stop me from thrusting inside of her below. I quickly get into my trousers as she grasps a pocket knife and head unevenly towards me.
“Wake up. Ensure you’re fit first before you bully anyone.’ I say and scoff, laughing at her in derision.
She suddenly locks gaze with me as she raises her voice, “I AM NOT DRUNK!”
I block my nose as she speaks and she places her palm on her lips. She blows air at the palm to ensure her nose gets closer to the smell to confirm if I am truly smelling something or I’m just trying to play with her.
She drops the knife afterwards as she rushes inside the restroom. I keep the knife under the bed in case she wants to stab me with it later. It’s beginning to take hours now and she’s not out of the restroom yet. Just as I am about to go check up on her, I notice a figure approaching and it is her.
“I had a runny stomach. Sorry.” She says.
“Screw it. What about the pack? How did we sleep off? Did we take over already? Where’s Alex and Amanda?” I ask as she suddenly realizes.
“This is bullshit! They tricked us again. What the fuck. What the hell did you do to them to make them deceive us into escaping?” She asks furiously.
“I’ll hit you with a knife if you don’t learn how to use a respectful tone.” I threaten.
“That’s not what I need now,” she says and ames towards the door. She opens it wide as she inspects the current activity in the pack. She shuts the door and turns to face me with shock written all over her face, “Dominic, we need to flee.”
I suddenly spring from bed as I respond, “flee? Why? How? What did you see?”
“Nothing much. Just an army of wolves marching in. They want to make this pack a military one. Seems we have to leave this entire district and go start up another pack in Arkansas or somewhere populated.” She says.
“It’s not easy to locate a wolf in a city, Harley.” I retort.
She scoffs, “Who said we are going to locate wolves? All we need to do is turn human beings to werewolves. We will do that smartly. Do you understand? Can you see that Alexander or Orion Blackwood outsmarted us? Not only you. He’ll always win and he has the kids. I’d advise you conduct DNA whenever you have a chance to meet with the kids.”
“Will I ever have the chance?” I ask as our gazes lock.
“I’m sorry, Dominic.” She comforts.
“It’s not about pitying my condition. I don’t need to have the chance. I’ll create it myself. Get your ass from this pack and let’s hustle. If Alex’s pack isn’t burned down by daylight, call me a bastard!”
“Really? Do you mean this? Alex’s done us no bad.” She retorts.
“If we keep thinking that way, we will never get to have what we want. Imagine keeping the kids in the pack. How do I see them face-to-face not to talk of having them in my care? Isn’t that doing me bad? I know for sure that Nora gave birth to those kids for me because they really resemble her and me.
Alex’s POV
I almost injured Jack with my wolf but thanks to Amanda for sustaining injury in his stead. He sprinted forward to attack the rogue even after being warned earlier.
“Jack, if you’re going to be responsible in life, you have to obey instructions. Simple instructions, you just can’t obey and you wanna tell me you need a wolf!!? If your wolf asks you to remain cool while speaking to someone but you choose to be stubborn, you’d be the one disadvantaged.” I warn him.
“Jack, don’t be so stubborn.” Jake adds as Jack stops moving.
“I want to head home. I’m no longer interested.” He says but I stop Amanda from trying to convince him.
“Let him head home. I will make sure I delay your time of shifting. You will only transform into your wolf when you are Forty years of age. I promise of you. It’s your decision to make now. Follow us and transform at the right time or head home and be delayed.” I say.
He angrily declares, “delay isn’t denial but I’ll follow you anyway.”
“You’re going to have a fair share of punishment for the offence you’ve committed.” I point at him and warn as Amanda guides both of them behind me.
After a few more minutes, Jack and Jake are being trained while I connect to my mind link. I have received a notification but I don’t know who the person is. It seems like a rogue or someone unfamiliar trying to access my location by tracking my scent after penetrating into my mind connection.
“Who is it? I’ll disconnect if you don’t respond on THREE, TWO, ONE.” I say and disconnect immediately.
Shortly after that, someone tries to contact me again but this time around, a familiar person. I quickly connect as I hear Harley’s voice. Does she have my scent? Dominic must have sniffed it to her wolf.
“Why did you deceive us? Please we need you. Come back to the pack.” She conveys.
“I am not going to return to the pack.” I simply say.
“Dominic is right in front of your pack. We’ve caught the scent of your pack. We invaded your mind and accessed it. You think you’re wise. Are you coming to see us or should we start hurting your wolves?” She suddenly threatens as my heart begins to pant heavily.
“You dare not lay your hands on my wolves. How dare you!’ I angrily scream back but she laughs me to derision, “I thought you love me!”
She replies, “I love you for who you are. But you deceived me and left when I needed you the most. Now there are lots of military soldiers in Dominic’s pack and they seem unconquerable. In fact, they are.
“He should contact the moon goddess about that. I can’t help with that.” I respond.
“Same way I won’t be able to help you when your pack gets burned. He’s waiting right here for me. to give him feedback so he’ll know his next move.” She says.
I sigh as I respond, “do you think you can just get in? Do you know how many security wolves are…”
She disconnects as my heart begins to pant heavily. I quickly connect to the mind of the security wolves and once one of them connects as well, I convey, “there’s an intruder alert. Check everyone in the pack who doesn’t have the pack logo at the back of the neck. Don’t allow random people get inside the pack. There are some potential threats with which I just got notified. Please be informed.” I relay.
“Consider your pack safe. We’ll risk our lives to save the wolves!” He screams with determination.
“Thank you!”
And then, the mind connection disconnects. My eyes scan around here as I am unable to locate the two kids and Amanda. What happened?!
“Amanda!” I scream her name as I lay my back on a tree, trying to connect to her mind.
“Where are you?” I ask, feeling good as our minds connect successfully.
“Right behind you. We’re doing some jogging. Going and coming.” She says. I think that’s one great benefit of a silver wolf being in a mind connection with an Alpha wolf. They can converse even if they are close. But for regular wolves? It’s a nah.
“Right here!” Jack almost slaps me on the chin but I kick him and hold him back so he doesn’t collide with his head on the rocky ground.
“Thanks,” he boldly says, “Jake is right behind you. He’s badly hurt.”
My heart leaps as I look up only to see a healthy but profusely sweating Jake. I face Jack now, requesting from an answer from him.
He gulps, thinking I’d also understand the message he’s trying to convey. As I look at him confusedly, he eventually speaks up.
“I mean, he’ll be hurt badly,” he confesses as I shoot him a deadly glare, “look right behind you.”
As I turn to look back, a rogue suddenly grasps Jake as it speeds out of sight.
