CHAPTER EIGHTY
ASHER’S POV
“Babe, please calm down. Maybe he didn’t mean it this way” Freya begs as she follows me into the bedroom.
“What do you mean by that? That man sent his rogues into my pack to attack my subjects, to attack my pups at the training ground. Does that sound like an unintentional act to you?”
“Well, maybe he said something else and they arrived abd did something else. Maybe he didn’t even send them to this pack, maybe they had to evade another pack but they came here instead” She tries to defend and I look at her in disgust. She still has the courage to defend her father’s actions.
She is indeed her father’s daughter.
“Freya, even if that attack was meant for another pack, it’s still a wrong move. You don’t just wake up one morning and decide invade someone’s territory like that. He even ordered for a hundred men and fifty female shewolves to be sent to his pack so he can enslave them all. Freya, your father needs a wake up call and that’s exactly what I’m going to give him right now”
“He might hurt you!”
She says worried.
I look at her and laugh.
“What did you just say?” I ask, just to be sure that I heard her well.
“If you go over there and talk to my father in such a wild tone, he might get mad and decide to hurt you”
“And how exactly is he going to hurt me?” I ask as I let out a tiny chuckle. “You very well know that between your father and I, there’s just one Alpha and he is not the Alpha. He doesn’t stand a chance against me in a duel, honey, so don’t flatter yourself!”
I walk into the closet and lock it up so I can change in peace.
Listening to her defensive rants only makes me angrier and I might lose my temper and do something I will regret if I don’t get away from her.

Once I arrive at the castle premises of the blackwood pack, I park in the compound and alight from the car. The guards standing around, bow down to me as I pass by and walk into the castle.
I hope I find him seated on that hideous throne of his.
“Adolph!” I call as I barge into the living room with my fists clenched by my side. As I step in, he rises from his throne with a shocked expression worn on his face.
I just called him Adolph, something I have done before in his presence and that must have shocked him to the core.
“Adolph!” I call yet again.
“Alpha Asher, what are you doing here? And how dare you address as Adolph. Showing no respect, it is Alpha Adolph for you!”
“Alpha Adolph my ass! How dare you call yourself an Alpha when you stole power, when you can’t even act like an Alpha?”
“This young man, what makes you think you have the right to come into my castle and talk to me in such a rude manner”
“You and I both know that this castle does not belong to you, but we are not ready for this discussion right now. I am here to talk about the men you sent to cause havoc in my pack. What the hell is wrong with you? I have done everything you asked of me, why are you still after my subjects?” I ask in fury and an evil smirk spreads across his lips as he makes his way towards me.
“You must be a fool if you think I’m just going to let you be. I only said I won’t bother you anymore for my daughter’s sake, but I don’t intend to keep those words of mine. Right now I am invincible, I can do whatever it is I want because none if you have the power or the means to kill me. I will invade your packs and have your subjects killed, I will take over all the packs of this world as Paramount Alpha and you all will rule under me. What I did today is just a tip of the iceberg, the real deal is still to come”
He narrates and I look at the monstrosity standing before me with creased brows.
He is sick in the head.
He is seriously sick in the head because a normal man will not think like this.
He wants to become Alpha of all Alphas with that rotten personality of his.
He isn’t even Alpha by origin, how then does he want to rule over other Alphas?
This is insanty it’s core.
“I want to be king, I want to rule over all the packs and only your oack is stopping me from doing so. Once I succeed to conquer you, which I will, taking over the other packs will be easy cake, so brace yourself!”
He threatens and fold my arms over my chest and look at him, totally fascinated by his fantasies.
I really do pity him.
“I’m going to bring you down inorder to have that power and nothing will stop me!” he rants on and I just keep looking at him like he has lost his mind.
Well, technically, he has lost his mind, because I don’t think a normal reasoning man will think like this!
“You must be seriously sick in the head if you think I will sit back and watch you have all your fun without fighting back. Adolph you seem to be forgetting something. My pack is the most powerful pack there is in this world. Even if you gather all the rogues and have them fight for you like you always do, you don’t stand a chance. I will stop this madness of yours”
“I dare you to try to stop me!”
“Dare accepted! Come prepared because I will be ready for you. I swear I will not be merciful!”
I turn around to leave but when I get the door, Tyr blocks my way. I look down at him and shake my head as I chuckle.
“What are doing?”
“Where do you think you are going?” He asks trying to form a menacing voice.
“Outside, to my car, so I can drive out of the castle that reeks of foolishness and tyranny!”
“How dare you…” I do not let him finish the sentence. I grip by the neck and pin him against the nearby wall, making sure his legs are suspending in the air.
My eyes turn yellow once more and the hand holding his neck transform into paws, causing my grip on his neck to be firmer. He trashes about with his suspended legs as he struggles to breath to no avail.
He doesn’t even have the strength to get my hand off his neck.
“This should the last time we cross paths. The next time you see me approaching, change your direction, because I really do not want to be the one to end your life. My sister, Arya, will handle you when the time comes.” I throw him to the other end of the wall and walk out of the living room.
I’m done advocating for peace.
If they want violence, I’m going to serve it to them hot!
