Chapter 491 Embarrassed

After giving Jonathan his instructions, Credence rubbed his temples, his dark eyes flashed with a cold, sharp light. He continued, “Get me a tranquilizer gun right now.”
Jonathan was a little taken aback. “What do you want a tranquilizer gun for?”
“It will be useful when the time is right.”
Credence smiled and sneered. He stopped talking and rolled the wheels of the wheelchair with both of his hands and rolled straight into the ward.
When Juelz heard a noise behind him, he turned around. He was a little startled to see who had arrived.
As he glanced back, he saw Jonathan’s half-smiling face and soon realized.
Jonathan must have been the one who called him over.
The reason he called Jonathan was because he was embarrassed for screwing up. He was too ashamed to report this to Dorothy and Credence.
Now that he was here, he was even more embarrassed. He simply nodded at Credence and said, “You’re fast. She’s inside. She only wants to see you.”
Credence had no expression on his face, but his black pupils seemed to be able to see through Juelz.
But soon, he snapped back to reality and calmly said, “I’d suggest you go back and check the records of your father’s wages. You may find something interesting.”
As far as he knew, only the higher-ups from the drug trafficking organization were qualified to have these bat-shaped emerald tokens.
Since Juelz had once spotted a similar-looking piece of emerald in his father’s office when he was young, it meant that his father was closely related to these drug trafficking organizations.
Even if he wasn’t in charge of the organization, he must have held a high-ranking position there. He may even be someone extremely important.
This supposed drug lord was killed by Jeremy in a car accident. He felt that there was something wrong with that.
Juelz did not say anything. He loosened his tie, took a step towards Credence, and sneered, “Credence, what do you mean by that? My father has been dead for years, and his body was cremated, leaving only a handful of ashes. You’re telling me that he might be alive and staged his death? Ha, don’t you think it’s ridiculous to have such an unfounded thought? F*ck, do you really believe anything Rosalie says? Don’t you have a brain of your own?”
“It is precisely because I know Rosalie that I believe in what she is saying.”
Credence looked up and stared coldly at Juelz. His voice sounded like a demon’s right out of hell, it was extremely cold and bone-piercing. “Do you think I’m as brainless as you? You who couldn’t even keep an eye on this woman? I only have one word for you, fool!”
Juelz felt like he was fiercely strangled by a giant invisible hand. Green veins erupted from his temples, and his voice seemed to have been squeezed out of his teeth. He gnashed his teeth and said, “Credence, I am Dory’s cousin, don’t go too far.”
“And it is only because you are my wife’s cousin that you are bold enough to stand here and act tough in front of me.”
Credence’s hand paused slightly. He smiled and said slowly, “Tell me, if she’s dead, or if she escaped, where are you going to find another bone marrow donor for Belle?”
“Mr. Scott, do you think I wanted this to happen?”
Juelz clenched his fists tightly. He looked Credence in the wheelchair who seemed calm and at ease. He felt inexplicably annoyed in his head.
He really wasn’t as great as this b*stard. He had to admit it, but was there a need for him to give him such a slap in the face like that?
How could he shame him like that in public?
Juelz was so angry that he wiped his face. He glanced at the doctors and nurses standing next to him and saw them hang their heads low as though they were deaf and dumb, pretending to not have heard anything.
Credence had finished speaking. He rolled his wheelchair into the ward. Rosalie was hidden in a dark corner under some bright lights. Her face looked sinister and distorted. She held the sharp fruit knife tightly in her hands and placed it on her neck. Her entire body shivered.
He rolled his wheelchair closer to her until he was half a meter away from her. His face was calm. His gaze was as sharp as a knife, and his handsome face was colder than an abyss. “If you want to negotiate, then do it! Don’t threaten your useless life with me! In my eyes, your life is worth less than a nickel.”
“Credence, is that really how you see me? I was so sincere to you. I would’ve died for you. But in your eyes, my life is only worth so little. Hah, you really don’t care about me at all. You are so cruel.”
She stared deeply at the man who destroyed her family and sentenced her to a place worse than hell. Rosalie’s entire body was trembling, as if a big hole had been gouged out of her heart, leaving a bright red patch of blood.
“Our lips never touched. What love do we even share?”
Credence sneered. His thin lips curved into a cruel and heartless arc. “Rosalie put the knife down at once and agree to donate your bone marrow. Then, I will spare your life.”
“You mean to say that you don’t intend to kill me personally, but you will send me to prison like before, making me live a life worse than death, and being used by those male prisoners every second I’m there… You’ll make me live like a b*tch, no, worse than a f*cking b*tch.”
She recalled the humiliating experience she had in prison, then her eyes turned red. Painful tears slowly dripped down her eyes. She felt extremely depressed. “Credence, why do you love that b*tch Dorothy? I’m younger than her, and my figure and looks aren’t any worse than hers. Why can’t you fall in love with me? For so many years, what was I to you? Dorothy flirted with Juelz, she almost caused an incestuous mess, don’t you care about that at all?”
“No, I know, you must have. You are a strong and proud man, how could you tolerate a b*tch like her to smear your reputation? Instead, you’ve endured the humiliation and agreed to be with her because of your child, isn’t it?”
“Credence, I love you! I have treated you so sincerely ever since I met you. I almost dug my heart out for you, so why did you choose to marry that b*tch Dorothy? That kind of sl*tty and shameless woman isn’t worthy of your love! Which part of me is inferior to her, why don’t you love me?!”
Rosalie acted like an insane woman, her hair was disheveled. She was so anxious that the fruit knife in her hand had cut the skin of her neck, causing blood to seep out of her. It slowly flowed down. She looked disgusting.
Credence looked on coldly from the side. When she was done with her nonsense, his smile and gaze were as cold and frosty as ice. “My wife is better than you in every way. If you still won’t tell me anything useful, you will find yourself at a fate that is many times worse than death!”
