Chapter 492 Shoot Perfectly

Book:My Husband Hates Me Published:2024-5-1

Rosalie’s voice trembled uncontrollably as her tears flowed down from her eyes. “Credence, I love you, I love you! You can’t… you can’t treat me so cruelly.”
She knew that Credence didn’t have any feelings for her, and even hated her deeply. However, she never thought that he would be so dismissive towards her.
Perhaps, to him, she was just a bag of worthless trash, someone that wasn’t even worth mentioning at all.
To Rosalie, Credence was like a scar in her life. He was etched into the veins in her heart and she couldn’t get rid of him.
She had tried her best to win the heart of that man and his love. Yet in the end, she did not get anything, and that b*tch Dorothy had everything.
“Don’t talk to me about love, you don’t deserve it!”
Credence had long grown sick of her hypocritical tears and grievances. He casually smiled with his cold eyes. “Tell me, who is your backer? Who are you working for?”
Rosalie’s face instantly darkened. She knew that this was the only useful information to him now.
She gave up, her tears stopped flowing down. She clenched the handle of the fruit knife hard, she wouldn’t let it go easily. “Credence, you want to know who my benefactor is? That’s easy. As long as you are willing to accept me and love me, I will let you know after I’ve married you.”
Even if Rosalie had completely given up on loving him, she still found a faint glimmer of hope for him.
Both men and women probably had this strange kind of psychology. The more they couldn’t have something, the more they wanted it. No matter how much it cost, they weren’t willing to give up, even if it meant dying or getting deeply hurt.
Perhaps, the things that they couldn’t get were the most attractive things to them!
Rosalie’s wishful thinking caused Credence to hate her unendingly. His expression grew colder and colder as he glared at her, his eyes looked intense.
He stretched his lips and sneered coldly. His voice was wrapped with a layer of ice, “I’d be disgusted to be with a woman like you.”
His glare alone was enough to make Rosalie tremble.
She knew very well that his patience had come to an end. If she didn’t say anything, he wouldn’t have given her another chance to speak, and immediately sentenced her to death.
He was so ruthless towards her; he had completely disregarded their decade-old relationship.
Rosalie’s mind spun rapidly as she tried to figure out how to use the remaining information she had. She wanted to gain as much as she could from it.
At the very least, she needed to ensure her own survival, that was of utmost value to her!
She stood up slowly, wiped the tears off her face, took a deep breath, and pretended to be calm. “Credence, I don’t know much. I can tell you everything I know, but I hope you’ll be merciful to me! My parents are dead, and I am the only one left in the Fisher family. I don’t want to die.”
Credence could agree to such a small request easily. He smiled, as he relaxed his stern-looking face.
Rosalie didn’t want to die, this was an easy request. He could just make her life a living hell for her.
Soon, after they extracted her bone marrow for Belle, he would send her back to prison, then she would understand that her words meant nothing.
After Credence agreed, she threw away the fruit knife. An enormous weight seemed to have been removed from her body as she collapsed onto the floor. She was both resentful and unwilling to accept such a result.
However, no matter how unwilling she was, she could only beg him to spare her life. She dared not beg for anything else.
She knew all too well where his bottom line was!
“I have never seen that man before, because every time he needs me, he would arrange to meet in a closed, dark room. But from his skin and physical strength, he would be about fifty years old. Back when I was in a daze, I occasionally heard someone calling him Mr. Sherman… That’s all I know.”
She had lost the upper hand, Rosalie dared not hide anything from him anymore. She would tell him everything she knew or didn’t know.
Credence’s face was blank, he glanced at her. He knew that she had told him everything, so he placed his hands on both wheels of his wheelchair. With a bit of strength, he turned around and left the room.
Just as he moved to the door, he bumped into Jonathan. The stupid idiot raised the tranquilizer gun high in his hand and shouted out. “Credence, wow, I’ve gone through a ton of hurdles to find this thing. Tell me quickly, who do you want me to shoot? I promise I’ll hit them with a bullseye!”
Credence glared at him, he noticed that Jonathan was obsessed with ‘shooting’, he guessed that he must have met Minnie as he went looking for it. He raised his hand to press his temples and said impatiently, “You’re late, I’ve just finished up here.”
“What the f*ck, how did you deal with that b*tch? What did you do to her in such a short time?”
Jonathan cheekily walked over and sniffed Credence’s body. “F*ck, I don’t smell anything on you.”
“F*ck off!”
Credence’s face darkened, he no longer paid any attention to Jonathan. He pushed the wheelchair towards Juelz and said coldly, “As for Belle, the doctor has given her a comprehensive examination. The bone marrow transplant operation has been arranged to be done in three days’ time. During these three days, continue to guard her, do not make any more mistakes.”
Juelz’s face turned pale. He cursed angrily to himself, frowned, and spat out a cloud of smoke. He snorted, “It was just an accident. There won’t be a next time.”
He was afraid that Rosalie would have starved to death early that morning, and that meant they wouldn’t be able to find any suitable bone marrow to save Belle’s life from her. So, at 7:30 in the morning, he arranged for a nurse to feed Rosalie. Who would have expected that the b*tch would go and knock out the nurse and grab a knife. She then threatened him to call Credence, and that she wanted to see him. Otherwise, she would kill herself along with Belle.
Having caused such an embarrassing situation, he was too ashamed to inform Credence and Dorothy. So, he told Jonathan and let him inform Credence about it.
F*ck it, his heroic reputation ended just like that.
Before he left, Credence’s orders made Juelz depressed once more.
He said, “Rosalie has revealed some information. The head of the forces behind her is an old man about 50 years old. His surname is Sherman. They call him Mr. Sherman, I personally advise you to send someone to check on your father.”
What the heck?
Didn’t his father die a long time ago?
How could his father just come back to life like that? Moreover, he had turned into a drug lord in Jenciga and was the cause of several problems.
But at the thought of the bat emerald piece lying in his father’s safe, Juelz’s expression slowly turned serious.
He had a feeling that maybe Credence was right.
On the other side, after they parted ways, Credence and Jonathan walked out of the elevator and slowly rolled the wheelchair towards the ward where Bell was.
When he was about to arrive at the door, he noticed that Dorothy had changed into a brown, loose maternity dress, which was tied around her waist with silk. It made her figure look slender and charming, but it wasn’t so tight as to have hurt the child in her womb. Her waist was thin, but her buttocks were plump. It made her look so beautiful.
But, who was this mature man standing in front of her, why was he dressed in a white medical gown and talking and laughing with her?
Credence’s face darkened. He immediately increased the strength of his hands and pushed the wheelchair forward. He headed towards Dorothy’s direction at high speed.
